No, you don't need to pay for roaming on Telstra. VoWifi works fine, using a local 2nd SIM for data. Optus and Voda do not allow this.

That 573W or 595W is nominal use at full power. But when the room reaches the thermostat setting, the inverter drops the power consumption.

It mostly works, but you are better off getting a Dell etc if you want Linux. I have dual boot, but mostly use Windows on the Surface.
