This thread serves to let everyone know how much you have saved on your 7/11 fuel app. Please see the archived thread (January 2017 - January 2022) for previous discussions.

Step 1: Subscribe to this thread to get email updates. You can change your subscription settings in your Ozbargain account to enable more/less email updates.

      I use lsposed with hide mock location and fake gps joystick

      (wherever it says pokemon go, you'll want to do the same for 7 eleven app)

      Use stocard. It generates a barcode and avoids the screenshot detection in the 7 eleven app. Have confirmed it works fine in store using the self scanner they have on the counter.

    Is that the barcode? I added member number to stocash app, do I actually need screenshot of the fuel lock or just scan my member barcode?

    Never used before and just wanna do it correctly

      Not sure why the negs, I worked it out, barcode is what needs to be scanned, i added it to stocash app

          They have the option to add your barcode to Google Wallet from the actual 7/11 app so I can't see why they wouldn't accept non-7/11 app hosted barcodes.

            @daanish: Yep, when pressing the button the 7-11 app does give you a disclaimer about only using it on one device though.

    Just wondering if someone could save me from reinstalling my chopper phone I use for family and friends
    @cwongtech - as you're the expert, I'll tag you in case you know.

    This is in relation to A02 error which I believe is something to do with default browser - I've tried to download another browser and set that as default and back. able to view Cheapest fuel and as soon as i click lock, it comes up with A02, there's no loading or anything. I've updated to latest magisk, Play Integrity Fix, Shamiko, and lineage for my phone.

    In the main screen, I've tried to click register and that also comes up with A02 error - I thought this was an issue BUT on my main phone that I always use, I also get this same error with "register" but everything else works including fuel locking.

    I've currently got so many people on this phone that reinstalling is going to be painful, because I haven't actually given them the anydesk password and I would need to reenter it for everyone again.

      Did you recently update the app?

      Try clearing app data/cache and then log in again

        It autoupdates, I've tried clearing, uninstalling completely. I will try and get older version next.

      I also have A02 issues on almost all of my fleet, mine are all physical phones
      Strangely I have a few that are set up identically but not plagued by the same issue

      Unsure what triggers the A02 error and how to permanently address it

        You're an expert to me and you've helped me setup a phone that was being used by at least 10 others, so they all appreciate you too. Oh that sucks it's happening to you too.. i was thinking it was lineage OS. I will continue to troubleshoot and let you know if i find anything. Cheers

    Hey all,
    I've made this work previously, but I'm struggling to get the preferred method working on a new laptop

    I'm stuck on part 3: I'm able to install Magisk onto the emulator, however when it prompts me to update Magisk, it does nothing.
    Could anyone please provide some guidance on this?

    7-Eleven has been acquired by it's parent company in Japan. Fingers cross this does not affect the fuel lock program.

          I'm out too. I was getting the "something is saying". So I Logged out, cleared cache, data & forced closed. now i can't log in.

          "There's been a problem logging you in"

          Tried several accounts, same issue. A mate pinged me last night with the same problem.

    I can't log in either.
    Tried 3 different ssids on same network and 2 hotspots from mobile.

          G09 error is the banned error code, you need a new accnt anytime you get G09.

          Not sure but they may have also tagged your device so if using a rooted/jailbroken phone a new accnt may also get banned.

          Scroll back. There are a couple of work arounds. I think one is paid one is using a Mac.

          Otherwise you’ll need another device. iOS between 14 and 16 or Android.

      You can use the Android Studio method on your PC to spoof using the Android version in a virtual Android device.

    there used to be a website where you could pay $5 or so ad lock in fuel without going through complicated jailbreak procedures…does anybody know the link to this website if it's still working?

    Hey all,
    I have finally got around to setting up android studios and using that. Should i be locking on the pc and using the lock on the ios device? I think i can remember reading that using multiple devices on the same account can get the account flagged.
    If this is not the right way to go i can make another account and save the card with stocard that way i am not using the app.

      Yes 2 devices accessing 1 accnt gets it banned, add loyalty card to google wallet or apple equivalent and point at bar code on PC, then screenshot that wallet barcode.

          On the 711 app running in an AVD hit show card or whatever, with that showing, on your phones Google Wallet select add loyalty card and search 711 find 711 Australia and hit add card, point the phones camera at the card showing on the PC/Mac.

    Hi everyone, I just got this set up finally using the android studio option and didn't read the rest of the comments until after I got it set up. I made a fake account for the android studio phone, logged out of my main account on my android and logged into the fake account, then logged into the fake account on my virtual android and locked in a price. Is that bad? I didn't realise there was the option to screenshot or add the barcode to google wallet. I haven't used the lock yet, but I don't want my main device to be locked based on device ID (since I want to have a backup in case something goes wrong).

    Should I log out of my new fake account and back into my main account, and then just use a screenshot of the barcode and/or add the barcode to my Google wallet and use that instead of being logged into the app on my phone? Any advice is appreciated!

      Just use the fake account on both, all good. Just don't keep changing accounts you are logged in with

      This fixed it for me

      Magisk > Settings > Magisk > Enforce Denylist on
      Magisk > Settings > Magisk > Configure Denylist >
      Tick my 7 11 then tap on my 7-11 and add the 2nd one as well.

      Without this set a01 would occur on this device.

      The same account having issues on my fuel lock device worked fine after this.

      Restart, app reinstall, airplane mode didn't fix it.

      Same account worked fine on another device.

      Hadn't locked in 48 hours on the affected device.

      Android 9, custom rom, magisk 26.4, gps joystick 4.3.3, smailpacther, universal safety net fix.

      Did a couple of restarts and was able to lock in with 2 accounts and replicate the a01 issue when Denylist options weren't set.

      Believe Enforce denylist is used by some other apps for spoofing as well or has been tested at least (Pokemod comes to mind)

        I had the same issue but after I tried this, 7-11 app complains "We've detected your location is not true, to continue please correct your location"

        I have tried a new account as well and still keep getting A01 error. Once I enable 7-11 on magisk denylist, the app starts complaining about the location not being true.

        Android 12, using mockmocklocation

          I don't have an android 12 setup up and running to test at the moment, sorry.

          That's part of the reason I listed my specific setup as the fix unfortunately may not be a catch all for other versions of android and location spoofing.

          I'm guessing its picking up the magisk hide and youll have to use some other method to bypass the detection.

          I'd suggest starting here and looking at the guides for pokemon go spoofing over here.

            @dazza826: Thank you! I will have a read… it is strange because it was working until last week but stopped this week suddenly. Almost like 7-elevn have changed something or added detection of sorts on their app/servers.

          This works for me, locked in yesterday.

          You cannot add 7 eleven app to the denylist if you are using LSPosed, otherwise you'll get the "location not true" error.

          I'm on Android 13, Samsung S20FE5G, magisk, gps joystick, and hide mock location LSPosed module

          EDIT: I'm not on the latest 7 eleven app update so it could be why I was able to lock in

            @CodeXD: Thanks! that is what I used orginally to set up my phone. I still double checked the doc to see if I have missed anything and it is all looking ok settings wise. I still am getting the A01 error. Maybe it is to do with the newer version… Would be good to see if anyone has fuel lock working right now on the latest 7 eleven app and android 12+

            @CodeXD: Followed the guide I was getting error A01/false location before the guide now it's asking me to turn on Google's location service. But if I turn it on it's gives me error false location detected. Any ideas

              @ty2050: I would suggest downgrading 7 eleven app for now until people work out how to bypass this.

              This issue is unique to 7 eleven app so there are significantly less people trying to figure out the cause compared to pokemon go.

              Another way might be to follow dazza's guide but you'll need to remove LSPosed and use smali patcher instead.

        Any solution for LSPosed? It still detects the location if you add it to the deny list (which makes sense) as it's denying the feature the hides the location.
        Reason we need to continue with this LSPosed method is for those on Android 12/13. (smalipatcher doesn't work for Android 12 or 13 based on the last time I checked which is almost a year ago)

        Cheers Dazza, your fix worked. Didn't work straight away, I had to do a hard reboot and Safety Net is now failing, however I managed to lock in a price after the reboot regardless. Appreciate it.

              @Korban Dallas: Unfortunately root and additional tweaks doesn't always play nice with banking apps and the like.

              Its generally why I have a 2nd phone for root and my primary stays unmodded.

              Its a fix for 7-11 in my case with my specific set-up. Has worked for others with android 9 to 11 who have this setup.

              I see you are using kitsune rather than magisk and not smalipatcher and some other method for gps mock locations as per your below.

              Sorry I don't have this setup to test

              You could download a safetynet checker from the play store or run a safetynet check in kitsune and see where you are failing safetynet then try and fix that.

        Using kitsune rather than magisk. Stopped using smalipatcher many months ago. Didn't need it for fuel lock.

    Hi all,

    I have jailbreak iphone. i am not able to lock since 7/12/23. This is when the app was updated. It gives me error of A01 when i lock.
    Works fine on non jailbreak device, only not allowing the jailbreak device to lock. Can anyone please help if they have found a solution for it yet

            @danielxleet: Do you have a SIM card in either phones? Or locking in over wifi only?
            I managed to lock petrol with my iPhone X, iOS 14.3, checkrain, over cellular. Wifi threw up a1 error.
