This thread serves to let everyone know how much you have saved on your 7/11 fuel app. Please see the archived thread (January 2017 - January 2022) for previous discussions.

Step 1: Subscribe to this thread to get email updates. You can change your subscription settings in your Ozbargain account to enable more/less email updates.

Step 2: Upon filling up simply fill in the details in this format:

  • NAME OF 7/11 STORE
  • PETROL TYPE
  • PETROL PRICE

    I have 6S Plus. Upgraded the iOS from 13 to 15.8, that's the max version 6S Plus supports.

    Developer image files for iOS 15.8 are not listed on Github, so downloaded for iOS 15.5.
    Now iFL 1.7 says "Your device's iOS version is not supported at this time."
    Anybody else has this issue?

        How to make it work on iOS X.X?
        If for whatever reason the automatic developer image retrieval doesn't work, you can manually download them to be used in iFakeLocation. Create a folder called "DeveloperImages" (next to the iFakeLocation executable) and inside that folder make a folder for the iOS version you are running (eg. "12.4", "13.0", etc). Download the matching developer images from the following Github repo and unzip the DeveloperDiskImage.dmg + DeveloperDiskImage.dmg.signature file into the folder you created.
        Now getting this error message

        "Access to the path '/Users/******/Desktop/A/DeveloperImages/15.8/DeveloperDiskImage.dmg' is denied.

          Worked for me. I renamed the 15.5 folder to 15.8 and kept the 15.5 files in there.

    Hi Master, I am just curious for a person lack of programming skill like me , how would you import certain fuel stations' pricing from https://www.fuelcheck.nsw.gov.au to google sheet ?

    I was able to do it using IMPORTHTML function for the Refinery website, i guess due to it's simple html coding. It doesnt like so for the fuelcheck site , perhaps there is an easier way around it.

    after update on iphone 6s the app asks for Bluetooth permission (never seen that) I say no and still locked but when trying second account got error E01 i think. Will leave it and try again in a day or so.

      I denied the app permission for BT, it's for the Pay & Go feature. I've had no issues locking and redeeming since.

          Considering the fuel lock check the 5 nearest stores BT wouldn’t be a viable method to confirm a user’s location.

    Anyone else getting A02 error after the update?
    I have tried logging out and back in and changing default browser.
    Clicking register a new account, i immediately get an A02 error.

      G17 from memory is when it's g09 (account banned), and you attempted to reset the password

      Then it goes into g17 after you try to login, the account is in a weird state

      Best to create a new acc

      They're blocking screenshots of the barcode on Android. I believe that you can just re-create the barcode in a website barcode generator if you want a high-quality version to share with someone.

          if you move the slider slowly/frame by frame, you can get a glimpse of the barcode just before it goes to black. or just add it to your google wallet and screenshot that barcode

      You can use something like https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy to mirror your phone screen on PC and screenshot from there.

    Anyone getting a white or black screen when logging in, try the following:

    Create advanceFeatures.ini file with content:

    Vulkan = off
    GLDirectMem = on

    path of this file should be:

    MAC: (/Users/"yourUser"/.android)
    WIN 10: (C:\Users\"yourUser".android)

    on android make sure you create a device that has playstore option(sign) and uses "Software-GLE 2.0" in Emulated performance:Graphics (might be needed that you actually log in in playstore via emulator to update emulator chrome version)

    might be needed: switching camera options to 'None'

    inside .android folder(can refer to paths above) check /avd/"emulatorName/config.ini"

    hw.gpu.enabled=yes
    hw.gpu.mode=software
    If you want to open link directly

    adb shell am start -a "android.intent.action.VIEW" -d "http://your.url.here"

    Also if GPS is not working set the same location in Android studio and GPS setter . Close and re-open 7-11 app.

    Seems like it's blocked on Nox now. Getting a unable to verify location message. Anyone else? Have tried with existing account and a brand new account.

    Mine stopped working today - the 711 app said "Update app to continue" so when I click on yes it goes to Play store, but there it says the app is "not available in your country". Confusing because I didn't even set an address for these google accounts.

    Anyone got a fix for this? the 711 app just needs an update I guess.

    I just used iAnyGo on my Mac - super easy and could take my iPhone running iOS 17.1 on a quick helicopter flight :)

    BTW iAnyGo only provides 2 free flights, after that you need to pay US$10/mth US$40/year or US$90 lifetime

    Re iAnyGo, what's this page about on their official website? They offer a "cracked" version to download. Of course I downloaded and installed it and it's not cracked, still need to purchase licence. What's with that page? Who are they trying to fool? Why the strange gaslighting?

    Went to pay for my fuel feeling proud of my +$25 expected discount.

    I saw the person in-front of me scan their app, the attendant commented the app/system is flaky since the Optus outage yesterday. They tried scanning again but it didn't work and the terminal started beeping.

    I was about to panic because I wasn't sure if my makeshift barcode will work or not. As expected, it didn't work and I had to pay full price.

    How long does it take for the gift card to arrive? and why can't they send a digital one?

      I had same issue where it didn’t scan qr code in store, and have used the support form in app to report the issue. Instead of sending me a gift card they have suspended my account permanently stating I’ve breached t&cs :(

        I have a feeling that the accounts that didn't scan might have already been flagged and potentially shadow banned. So if you follow up, they'll just outright suspend the account.

        There is no winning here. Create a new account and move on.

          Maybe you have a point, but 2 customers faced the same issue that day, their app didn't work either.

          While I see your point in shadow banning or flagging some accounts, my case was clearly a system issue. Having said that, by contacting them, it may make them scrutinise my account.

          I'll report back the outcome.

    Anyone here getting Error E03 lately?

    It's shows up right after pressing the button to lock in (where the price is displayed) and now I've been getting this for a few days now (was working last week). For reference, I've got an iPhone 7 running iOS14.6 using ifakelocation.

    I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 12.X and 7-11 app version 2.17.XX. I just tried to use the app while confirming my location with iFakeLocation. The app immediately popped up a screen which says "Please upgrade now. You will need to upgrade the app to continue." There is no option to do anything else.

    Seems I perhaps don't have any other choice but to upgrade and then see what happens…

          3DAppVersionSpoofer might help. I used it on iOS 14 to avoid upgrading the My Maccas app.

            @sween64: 3dtools that i installed is not working on the app, after holding the icon, it only shows x (delete) there is no option for spoof, mine iPad air 1st gen using 12.x :(

                @sween64: thanks but after doing that, it still asks for an upgrade (after login) and with a lowerinstall, it can be upgraded but the app will crash. I don't think it will work for ios 12.x

                  @andyken: I am in the same boat, ipad air 1st Gen so stuck on 12.5.7 IOS version and 7-eleven app cannot upgrade because it needs later IOS version. It's a Catch22 situation.

                    @c0nfus3d: @c0nfus3d and @andyken - I posted previously that I had upgraded my iOS to the latest available for the iPhone 6, which was iOS version 12.5.7, and that the 7-11 app seemed to then work without being updated. That was temporary, and I now have the same issue as you both. I agree; it seems you just can't use the app without updating if you have iOS 12.X, even if that's the latest available version for your phone (which it is for eg iPhone 6). But the app won't LET you update unless you have iOS 14+. Sigh.

    Once updated, you may not be able to take a ride in your helicopter; the app forces you to share location and if you deny access, they'll not allow you to search for prices in the area..

      Which iOS and which app version? Unless 7-Eleven is forcing iOS 17 then iFakeLocation should work for 14 through 16 inclusive.

            Following an investigation, and given the store does not sell this product, in line with our terms and conditions you will be unable to redeem the Fuel Price Lock on Mobil Unleaded Extra 95 made at the Emu Plains store on Wednesday 22 November 2023 between 5:00pm and 6:35pm.

            We apologise for this technical error and thank you for your understanding. You will notice in your app that all Fuel Price Locks have been reset, and the functionality is now available to take advantage of once again.

                  @Bargain4Life: I've locked WA just 10mins before fuelling up at Melbs outer east, only ever had 1 accnt blocked and I suspect that was accessing it with 2 devices.

        Next time a mistake like this happens, lock it in and bolt straight to a 7/11 with every jerrycan you can muster and fill before they fix.

    Anybody else having issues using android, lsposed and GPS setter? I just tried it and it says updating google services, but they are up to date.
    Are there any alternative GPS fake apps available for Android that are still working?
