You should be able to lock another in after you redeemed one…. (unless uve already done it twice in the last 24 hours)

    • In the past, the app wouldn't even let you lock in if you had reached this limit.

Basically if you locked in, filled up, drove a lot / other vehicle / whatever within same day and locked in again, then filled up, then you can't lock in yet again. The app wouldn't let you.

So I don't think you need to worry about this condition as it's self-enforced by the app. Not sure if that still applies since I'm referring to years and years ago.

PS. Other than people who drive a lot, this also prevented you from filling up 2L multiple times in 24 h to get rid of your lock when a cheaper price came along.

Getting g9 banned after one usage 3 accounts in a row

    • I think that now makes you the record holder !!!

      • I think if you quickly lock, use it interstate and then lock it again quickly, the system g9 you

        • Nah that’s bs. I locked and use it sometimes within 5 mins and relock shortly afterwards, still not banned. Been doing it for a very long time.

          • @I Smell Pennies: So what triggers the ban?

            • @Mortin: I'm guessing the device has been flagged. Time to do a Device-ID refresh if they're on Android.

            • @Mortin: We don't know.

But a ban is just a slight inconvenience. Create a new account, change your device ID, start locking again.

  • Saved $40.17 filled up two cars together. Sydney
    Thank you

  • Are any of the methods working with ios 17? I can't seem to get it to work.

  • Ahhh just updated this accidentally. Fyi.

    IOS - Version 2.17.22
General updates to reduce fraudulent activity.
This version also includes other technical improvements

Anyone know if it still works?

    • Damn me too also just updated on my iPhone, will feedback when I use it next.
BTW I always make sure I don’t catch the helicopter within hours of checking local (real) prices as I think if you check prices in Brisbane and lock in shortly after in Perth it would be a dead giveaway even when using a private jet ;)

    • +1

I just tested. Still works for me.

From now on I think I'll just fly around Victoria.

  • I noticed the 7-Eleven app has been removed from the App Store. Even when you click on the update, you get an error when viewing app details

    • Edit. This MAY be because of my Turkish Apple ID, however I can view any other app updates no issues

      • For future reference, there is an edit button under your comment and you can edit within an hour of posting as long as no one has replied to it.

    • I can still see it on Android, are you referring to ios?

      https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.com.fuel7el…

      • Yes App Store, not Google Store

  • Anyone else unable to lock after ios 17 installation?
"The developer images for the specified device are missing"

    • +1

Yep, just a short scoll up.

      • Yeah, I saw after I posted lol… so now what? :(

        • Use an old device to lock

          • @georgev: Or downgrade back to iOS 16.

            • @HardQuiz: I use an iphone 5

              • @Mortin: I have iPhone 5 it wasn't working so I uninstalled and tried to reinstall but it says requires iOS 14.0 or later.. but when going to software update it's on iOS 12.5.7 and says "your software is up to date"… can someone help me please

                • @Mr x: working for me on ios 12.5.6

            • -1

@HardQuiz: I don’t think it’s the iOS version that’s causing the issues. I believe 7/11 updated their app, as in the update description it says “General updates to reduce fraudulent activity”

              • +1

@antik: They’ve done those updates before and it hasn’t stopped iOS choppers from working.

              • -1

                @antik:

                updates to reduce fraudulent activity

                How is it fraudulent?
They choose whether to accept the price lock or not.

If I have the choice to be a man, woman or non-binary, if I can choose to be indigenous or not, then I can choose to be in "Truganina" right now !!!!!!!!!!!!
7-Eleven are discriminating against people who are currently not in "Truganina"….

              • +1

@antik: I’m using the updated app with no issues.

I’m using the updated app with no issues.

                  same….

                  • @jv: No issues should get their own app.

            • @HardQuiz: Yep. iOS 16.6.1 is still being signed. You can manually download the ipsw and use iTunes to install it.

Another G09 error checking in. Quite sad as I was locking using a rooted Android phone since the dawn of this bargain being posted. Should be fine with a device ID change, 10 minute mail and spending a few extra seconds in store to pull up my velocity account.

  • Sadly I'm another victim of their latest update, seems they've done a pretty good job of closing down the loophole. I guess they've paid some talented app developers a decent amount of money which is very unusual for them.

    • App update or iOS update?

      • App update, sadly I must have automatic updates turned on so the app has updated to the new version and part of that process was to log me out of the app. I became aware of this issue when I could no longer log in and trying to sign up for a new account on my iPhone doesn't work as they are checking the device id on sign up.

        • So it’s not necessarily the app update. Creating a second account on the same devices has triggered a ban for a long time.

I recently bought a new phone, when I got the new phone I created a new account. No cross contamination.

        • Yeah, that's really annoying. You used to be able to sign up without using the app but seems they don't allow that now.

  • Everyone just needs to move to virtual Android

    • -1

      No way…

    • Can you please post some instructions for that?

        • Above method by dontpanic worked for me, was one of the silly ones to update to iOS17 braindead and made ifakeloc non-compatible.
Using a new account with different device ID so see how it goes.
For anyone that wants to add card on iPhone to scan (in comparison to screenshots) Stocard seems to be able to register these cards :) I guess its more legit than a screenshot? dunno.

What's best/latest iOS available for jailbreaking?

For 7-Eleven fuel lock? iPhone 6S or SE (1st Gen) on iOS 14.

      • +1

Yup am on iOS 13.7 se 1 gen no issues so far

        • +1

Which jailbreak tool do you use?

      • thanks sween, so those would the earliest/oldest supported, good to know!!

        • Yep. The 7-Eleven app currently requires iOS 14 or higher.

          • @sween64: Mine on 13.7 still works ! iPhone SE first gen

            • +1

@georgev: You've just repeated what you said earlier and haven't answered the question.

I'll try a different question. Are you using iFakeLocation or have you jailbroken your phone?

              • +1

@sween64: Am using iFakeLocation not jailbroken

                • +2

@georgev: Im on ios 12.5.6 working with 3utools no jailbreak

  • +3

I got this working last night - thanks @dontpanic! Amazing work
Only thing was that I could only enable GPS Setter for just the My7Eleven app for it to work.
Enabling for the System framework didn't work - location stayed in San Francisco.

Also the format of the rootAVD command has changed to:

     rootAVD.bat system-images\android-33\google_apis_playstore\x86_64\ramdisk.img

I can see a few of the versions of have changed so this is my version list:
    - Android Studio Giraffe
    - Pixel 4 with Tiramisu and API Level 33
    - Magisk - 25.2 (25200)
    - LSPosed 1.9.1 (6990) - Zygisk
    - GPS Setter - 1.2.10
    - My 7 Eleven App - 2.17.21

    • I think they have updated the app version to 2.17.22 last week which has also stopped working to change the location easily.
Mine was working till last week when I was on 2.17.21. However I installed iOS 16.7 yesterday and iFakelocation stopped working. So restored to iOS 16.6.1 after few hours however without my input it updated the 7-Eleven app to 2.17.22!

Now even I am rolled back to 16.6.1, still can not change location in the 7-Eleven app.

      • Mine is working fine with iOS 16.7 and 3uTools

    • Thanks for the heads up - I'll need to look into that issue and update the guide.

Merged from Unable to use helicopter on iOS 17 :(

I regret updating my phone to iOS 17. iFakeLocation/3uTools doesn't seem to be working. There's also no developer image for iOS 17 on https://github.com/haikieu/xcode-developer-disk-image-all-pl…. Does anyone know of a workaround?

      use the android studio

    • +1

      Thank you for your sacrifice

Are there ways to downgrade ios?

      • Yes

      • Based on this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBSxL89khFo) it looked kinda tedious. I also don't recall ever backing my phone up, so I didn't want to risk losing any data. I ended up following dontpanic's guide on using Nox Emulator. Despite being a little complicated to set up, it's actually more convenient now as I don't have to plug my phone in now :)

        • did you managed to get nox working on a new PC now ??
I couldn't get it to work on new PC's hence had to stick to Android Studio method

      • iOS 16.6.1 is still being signed. Download from here and use these instructions to restore your phone to iOS 16.

Upgrading your IOS might lead to it not working anymore

      • Thanks for the heads up

    • Doesn't work with ios 16.7

      3uTools is working fine though…

      • Damn that sucks, always preferred the simple interface of iFL.

        • At least it gives you an option until it's fixed…

      • 3u Tools is not working for me though. My version of the 3u Tools is 3.05 and i am running on iOS 16.6.1 on an iPhone 13 pro.

Would you be able to provide your setup and device details?

        • +1

I was in the same situation. Now I am using the Android Studio method. I just now need a computer and an Android studio. I can lock it easily. Try that out.

    • Downgraded to iOS 16.6.1.

      • Any link of how to do that? That version is no longer being signed.

        • It was back when I suggested it.

There was a fairly large fb group for fuel locks (20k members).
They just posted they received a cease and desist and have shut it down hahaha..
    Wonder whats going on

    • they received a cease and desist

      On what grounds?

      • No idea.
They started kicking people out (i was kicked before being able to read into it).

Thats why i posted here to see if anyone knows any more info.
