            • @Saltedog:

Well, I've had the same account logged in on both devices.

Eventually they catch up with you…

  • New account won’t work. As soon as you log in with your banned device(even with VPN), the new account (without ever been used) will be locked as well.

does not bother me… just go to BP instead and earn Qantas points

    • Did you read any of the comments here?

      • just spotted… thanks 😊

  • I've been using iFakeLocation for a while (v1.5) - however when i tried to do a lock today, the maps is not displaying properly - just all gray.
The "Set Fake Location" button is grayed out, and even if i try to put in a location, nothing seems to happen.

i tried downloading a later version of iFakeLocation from githut (v1.7) but its showing the same gray maps box.

Anyone seen this issue before? Thanks.

    • Just tried it and it works fine…

    • As much as I dislike agreeing with jv, I also used iFakeLocation this afternoon without any problem

        @DrDuck
        You're just a quack

    • This has happened to me before and I found if you turned on a VPN to wherever it seemed to start working again. No idea why could be a temporary glitch or IP block.

  • When will this up trend end? It's approaching 189.9 for 91 unleaded…

    • when a second pandemic occurs

      • When the war against Ukraine ends…

7-eleven sent out a new privacy policy. Anyone done a comparison to see what has been added or amended, and whether this will impact this method?

    • It's only a privacy policy, so likely unrelated to how our helicopters get off the ground

      • It's only a privacy policy

Might make reference to private helicopters.

        • Just got off the phone with their customer care, them mentioned the account is disabled as it breaches our privacy policy. Just a heads up to everyone.
One account had "error G09" while logging, other one didn't login at all.

          • @Hjak:

One account had "error G09" while logging, other one didn't login at all.

            Same device?

            • @HardQuiz: Different devices

              • @Hjak: I and countless others here in this thread are still flying with no issues. So not sure what went wrong with your accounts.

                • @HardQuiz: Created another account, that seems to work fine for now.

  • Does anyone know who made the iOS app ElevenMe? It’s good but unfortunately due to price rises the price notification settings need to be expanded.

Key Takeaways from the updated Privacy Policy this week. Should not affect helicopter rides.

Sensitive and Biometric Data: The policy collects sensitive and biometric data for specific purposes with consent. The privacy policy mentions that 7-Eleven may collect sensitive information (such as health or biometric information) directly from employees, franchisees, and others for specific purposes like identification, attendance tracking, and surveys.

Overseas Data Sharing: Personal data might be shared internationally with service providers.
Cookies and Personalization: Cookies enhance online experiences; users can manage preferences.
Marketing Communications: Users control marketing communication preferences.
Data Breach Notification: Policy lacks specific data breach notification details.
Complaints and Updates: Complaints can be directed to the Privacy Officer; stay updated on policy changes.

  • When trying to authenticate my 7/11 account on the emulation of a pixel 4 using my windows computer, Chrome won't load at all? The internet connection to the emulator doesn't seem to work. Is there a way around this?

  • Anybody else getting this error when running iFakeLocation?

Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'iMobileDevice-net, Version=1.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=040ae19651fac98a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

    I am using v1.5.0

    • +1

      No, I'm using Version: 1.7

    • Maybe try upgrading iFakeLocation to v1.7.0 which was released a year ago.

      • +2

Thanks, I upgraded to v1.7 and it works.

  • do you need a SIM card with your phone or can iFakeLocation work with wifi only

have an iphone 11 that am thinking of using as my copter

    • +1

You don’t need a SIM card for it to work.

RIP, just got G09 banned on an account that was working flawlessly for 5 months (filling up once every week on average) - used a new iOS device and only that device to lock in using ifakelocation. Used a new android phone to log in and scan in-store at 7-Eleven. Was locking in from all over the country and filling up in Brisbane without issue until this week where I needed to fill up 2 cars (one day after the other).

Keep this as a lesson for those that are still getting around G09 errors. Don't lock in from different states and fill up in consecutive days.

    • +1

Don't lock in from different states and fill up in consecutive days.

That might be tough for those of us working for interstate clients.

    • Happened today to my many years old account. Now I can't use velocity points I don't care about making new accounts. Screw these guys.

      • +2

Now I can't use velocity points

You can scan your card in store.

    • if it was working flawlessly for five months, did you really lose? what was the lesson? move on, create another account, and keep doing what you were doing before?

  • The app now allows you to add MyCard to your wallet (e.g. Apple Wallet). So the wallet is allowed but screenshots are not allowed? Makes no sense.

    • +1

app can associate device id when you add to the wallet.

      • The app can still do it without.

        • So you can still get your account cancelled.

    • Does that mean the attendant will no longer provide resistance when you show them the barcode using a wallet (even if it's not Apple Wallet? E.g. stocard and the like)

      • I've been using the Stocard bypass for a few months now since screenshots were disallowed and I've not had any issues with operators rejecting Stocard barcodes. I'm surprised they even looked at it long enough to notice/care.

      • will no longer provide resistance

        Just impedance…

        • As it's not real, and I'm not going to be changing decisions about whether I'll be scanning or not, that's fully acceptable.

      • I've never met an attendant that gave two hoots. Never had anyone question my discounts - quite the opposite actually, with a few attendants congratulating me on my savings lol

        • Awesome. Stories on this thread suggest that's not always the case, but certainly good if you've got an attendant that (rightly) doesn't give you grief for presenting the barcode in a different form.

    • +1

Makes even less sense when you can screenshot the Wallet…

Free Smoothies or Shake with each fuel purchase until 2-Oct.

    Got one last night…

    • Smoothie or smoothies?

      • Smoothie or smoothies?

Just fill up with $1 of fuel and go in multiple times…

        • -2

That would be stealing if you only fill up $1 and go in multiple times

          • +1

            @leeroys_dad: Why ?

            I'd pay each time.

            • @jv: Right, you would fill up $1 multiple times.

You could also fill up $1 (or the 2L minimum as usually stated on the pump) multiple times by placing the pump back into place, and taking it off again (as this generates a new transaction), then you will only need to go in once

              • @leeroys_dad:

or the 2L minimum as usually stated on the pump

                There is no minimum…

          • @leeroys_dad: Here are the T&Cs

+Free smoothie or shake with fuel

One free smoothie per fuel transaction. Not in conjunction with any other smoothie/shake/frappes offer. Only available at smoothie stockist stores. Valid to 02.10.2023.

            So $1 purchase is fine

  • +1

Got my first G09 error today… it would suck if they're banning based on device ID as it is the primary phone I use

    • Did u do anything different?

      • Same as always, although I do lock using 2 accounts with one phone. Fuel locked today for two accounts and the first account got banned

        • -1

although I do lock using 2 accounts with one phone.

          That's against the T&Cs

      • +1

I’ve been using the same account putting in fuel once every 1-2 weeks and got the G09 error..

  • I am curious if anyone has been questioned ever by the cashier whilst using this?

    • I was asked if I was having a nice day.

      • +1

They're onto you, hide your phone asap

      • Managed to fill up today with the $1.82 from WA store. Guy looked at me and was like "wow thats a good price" i was like yep! Paid and left. Just wondering how long i can do this for as in using the Android Studio method then taking my everyday phone to the store to redeem. Surely on there end they see two devices being logged in under my account?

        • I don't think they can

          • @Meg4: I think they do.

        • +1

          Clone your device ID.

Find out your everyday phone's ID and spoof it in Android Studio, so they appear to be the same device.

  • +1

Game over boys!! Like most, I too got banned/can't log into my account. Looks like it's getting around. Haven't done anything different for the last few years.

    • +5

      codyvan2

    • Just sign up with a new fake account. Rinse and repeat.

  • +6

I called 7 11 support after getting banned. They gave me the following reasons for the bann:

Locked in from all 5 states
    Having multiple accounts
Locked in for 2 different accounts from 1 phone
Logged in to two different phones for same account
    Checked and Locked in frequently

And mentioned these accounts will not be unblocked.

    • You sound like a recalcitrant.

    • +1

Lol so now you got the answer for "Why me though"

    • I use virtual android and redeem using use a screen shot I've taken from the virtual phone

      • Apparently you can run into some problems with some attendants, but hopefully that's not going to be an issue going forward if they're making it ok to scan from digital wallets etc.

        • if they're making it ok to scan from digital wallets etc.

That can tell if you add it to a wallet on different devices.

          • @jv: Even if it's not an Apple/Google Wallet? (e.g. one of the many apps that just stores barcodes.)

            • @dealz4all: Not if you just scan or type in the barcode…

    • -2

Locked in from all 5 states - since when did 7-11 have stores in all 5 states? And…does 7-11 want to ban interstate travel?

Having multiple accounts - were these with the same details, or just on the same device(s)?

Checked and Locked in frequently - so…we're not allowed to use the app to lock in frequently?

Not really sure what their rationale is. It seems to be the way a casino operates - if we don't like you, off you go…find any reason (or not) to justify it.

As for the other 2 reasons - apparently that's against the T&C, as dumb as that is…so I guess that's their out.

      • so I guess that's their out.

        They don't need an out…

There's no law that says they have to allow you to get discounts.

      • Oh come on now. I'm all for playing loose with the rules with big corp (so long it's legal) but if I get caught, I'll take the hit and won't act like an entitled kid

        • +1

If that's directed at me, I'm not. Heck, I'm just in this thread for historical reasons and curiosity, I drive an EV now…

It's more that they're reasons given seem arbitrary, and you can certainly innocently breach them without ever fuel locking, as evidenced in this thread in other posts.

      • I think I saved around $200 in the pat 90 days on each account. So, that may have caused a red flag as well

        • +2

I've never actually considered this, but it's probably the biggest red flag as far as 7/11 are concerned. If people are making huge savings on an account that falls well outside of what they consider average use, it's probably the first thing that triggers a review of the account.

I haven't had an account blocked in all my time using my helicopter, but that might be because I only fill up a 40L tank once a month or so.

          • @dontpanic: I'm the same, only fuel up about once a month.

But I also use my 7 eleven account for non fuel purchases such as discounts in store. They have cheap meal every once in a while or $1 coffee etc

      • Just opened another account and lets see how long that lasts.

I actually have 3 accounts including me and my wife and also been helping lock it for 5 other ppl where 1 of them also have 2 accounts. So far, only one of my account, and 2 friends account got blocked. All locked using the same ios device. The other friend who has 2 accounts and also locked from my very same ios phone still has both his accounts

      • 5 states

Well four states and a territory, but don’t start nit-picking that statement.

    • What does "Checked and Locked in frequently" mean?

  • +1

Is there a 24 hours waiting period after the fuel lock voucher has been redeemed before a new fuel lock can be activated?

    From T&Cs :
"…You are not eligible for Fuel Lock if you have activated Fuel Lock for 2 times in the past 24 hour period…"
