This thread serves to let everyone know how much you have saved on your 7/11 fuel app. Please see the archived thread (January 2017 - January 2022) for previous discussions.

Step 1: Subscribe to this thread to get email updates. You can change your subscription settings in your Ozbargain account to enable more/less email updates.

Step 2: Upon filling up simply fill in the details in this format:

  • NAME OF 7/11 STORE
  • PETROL TYPE
  • PETROL PRICE

Example:

  • Richlands QLD

    Hi all

    Anyone know what info they use on iOS?

    I’ve wiped my device, if I use a backup, I can’t login, but if I use a new iCloud id, no issues…. Would like to get it working without changing my iCloud id

    Edit, should have mentioned have tried a completely different device, same issue as soon as I restore my backup onto it.

      Did your backup include the app itself?

      Try a backup without the app/data.

      Admittedly, I haven’t had a problem since my first banned device/accounts.

      My current setup is a dedicated iOS device with only the app using one account. I’ve been flying and redeeming across states with no issues so far.

        No, it didn't. I tried setting it up as a "new phone" so pretty sure no app data would have come across (I def don't have 7/11 backing up to icloud).

    After a good run, looks like I've G09 for the first time. I've been locking in for a few family and friends so not sure whether they picked up with multiple logins from the same IP or if someone has been doing screenshots and that's what made them have a closer look. Time for a new email address.

      Good work, I got my first one a couple of days ago too on my backup account (other account used on same device unaffected though so its odd)

      Rerolled device id on price locking phone, brought backup account thats been active for years but never used out of cold storage.

    Hi Guys, need some help with chopper setup.

    I am doing the android way. I have made at least 10 attempts to setup Magisk. The app installs successfully but he pop for additional setup for Magisk never turns up.

    So I am literally stuck at step “A popup will tell you that it "Requires Additional Setup" - hit "OK" and let the device reboot.” PART 3 - Installing Apps – 5th bullet point.

    As a result, Superuser and Modules in Magisk are greyed out. Both the following devices were plagued with the same issue.

    Devices tried:
    1. Pixel_3a_API_34_extentions (device came with the setup)
    2. Pixel 4 API 33 Android 13.0 Google play x86_64

    Laptop configuration:
    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8650U CPU @ 1.90GHz 2.11 GHz
    Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
    System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

    Appreciate your instructions for a fix.

      Can't say I've experienced that issue. Just did a new install and it works as expected (I'm on MacOS though). Anyone else had problems here?

      All I can suggest is deleting the virtual device and starting from scratch if you haven't already.

            @dontpanic: No issues with rootAVD at all mate. Was able to grab the right remdisk.img. This is how I installed magisk on AVD's.
            I have tried this on 3 different windows machine now and 1 linux box. I used admin account for all interactions and installations.
            Its weird that this doesn't seem too common of a problem and hence not much solution on internet.

              @deepakkumar1983: If you're absolutely certain that you've selected the correct ramdisk.dmg, then the only other variable I can think of is the version of Magisk that you're installing… midway through the rootAVD process, it stops and lets you select which version you want to install (Stable || Canary || Alpha) - by default it installs Stable if you don't do anything - maybe it's worth trying the others out?

              I don't know if there's much more I can suggest - I've tried to replicate the issue here on my Mac, but it all seems to work fine. Unless someone else can replicate the issue, it seems to be a quirk of your setup.

    A word of warning to those use iFakeLocation or other tools for iOS, do not upgrade to iOS 17 (beta) if you plan to keep using fake locations as Apple has made major changes to the internals and changed the way fake locations are set.

    Currently I've only figured out one piece of the puzzle thanks to contributions from the open-source community, but the other half might take time to crack as current working methods only work on Mac.

    You can keep your eyes on progress here, but if the issue is still open it means it hasn't been figured out yet:

    If you really want to upgrade to iOS 17, you will either have to wait for an update to iFakeLocation, or rely on other published methods (ie. using an Android emulator) in the meantime. The final iOS 17 release won't be published until September (usually around the time the next iPhones are announced) so hopefully there are some advancements made between now and then.

    P.s for anyone wondering why lakemba 7-11 is cheaper than any other 7-11s and the terminal gate price, theres an independent servo right next door.

      Is that still available though? fuelprice.io think so, but project and refinery don't think so.

      fuelprice.io's timestamp claims it's still current (for U98).

      Don't want to drive out there for no reason.

    Well I finally got banned on my 1st and main account.
    Logged in on same iOS device with another account and worked fine.

        Banned before I tried my other account.
        It’s been a few days since I filled up with the other account. Still works at the moment.

        Having said that though, I use an old iPhone 5s with 3uTools to lock in. Then when I go to use the voucher I use my iPhone 14. Not sure if that makes any difference.

    I use my iPhone and ifakelocation to price lock on 2 accounts, wife and I.
    4 weeks ago wife account got banned so I used her iPhone to create a new account. I now price lock using her iPhone, no issues so far.
    My account was not banned, I continue lock using my iPhone.

          Not so sure about that - might be 7-11 servers. I can't make new accounts (on a brand new device, unrelated to anything in this thread other than being a 7-11 app.)

      I have no idea, but I'm on iOS on a brand new device, never helicoptered or logging into any account, and just trying to set up a NEW account on a NEW device (for a friend, who can't be bothered to roam so nothing to do with this thread), and I can't complete the login/registration process.

      So perhaps there's some issue with 7-11 systems (if you're not already logged in?)

      No idea, tried to create a 2nd new account (in case something went wrong with the first) and same issue. No error msg, just a statement saying "Oops no connection", followed by to try again later, when there clearly is a connection. So either something is wrong with 7-11 systems, or they just aren't allowing new accounts.

        Am I the only one having trouble with new accounts? Can't get the new device to register any new accounts seemingly, and 7-11 have seemed to removed the option to sign up online via website (which you used to be able to do.)

        The device is 100% brand new and never used 7-11 before, and is not associated with any banned accounts.

    I see in the Github repo that support has been added only to 16.4.

    Anyone know anything about when the update might be made?

        Managed to get it to work. I had to do the manual process of creating a DeveloperImages folder in the Applications folder, create a folder of the current iOS version (16.6), then paste the 2 files into there from the iOS version downloads on github (download latest iOS, which is 16.4). So it worked even though the downloaded file was 16.4 and the folder name was 16.6. I initially had the folder name 16.4 and that didn't work, hence I changed to 16.6. Github needs the instructions fixed, as it states to name the folder same as the source download.

        Yep. Just topped up my fuel tank and filled up my reserve 120L jerry cans. Should have enough fuel for next 3 weeks. Fuel prices are not dropping . Saved myself over $30

      I filled on Sunday and usually my points would have landed by Monday morning but they're still not showing as I type this. Thought it was just me. This is the first time I've noticed a delay though.
