This thread serves to let everyone know how much you have saved on your 7/11 fuel app. Please see the archived thread (January 2017 - January 2022) for previous discussions.

Step 1: Subscribe to this thread to get email updates. You can change your subscription settings in your Ozbargain account to enable more/less email updates.

Step 2: Upon filling up simply fill in the details in this format:

  • NAME OF 7/11 STORE

      Damn it. I just paid 161.9c/l today putting a full tank of fuel in my motorbike. Put in 4.1L and got 233km, so I could have saved 8 cents, or $0.0034/km. Kicking myself for not using the 7-11 app :(

    Another round of my accounts got banned (G09), I wonder if they have locked on to my spoofing phone or just plain coincidence…any tips I should be doing so I don't have to constantly make new accounts after 1 use?

      Ip switch (VPN or toggle airplane mode on hotspot phone)

      Idk if changing android id will trip safetynet test fail, that's the other option as well

      No idea if this helps, but I try to stick to using my home state, and I make the times before use believable; as in I won't lock a price 6 hours away from me, then go fill up an hour later. Still on my original account since october last year. Also, I tend to move my helicopters pin somewhere nearby instead of exactly on top of the station, like the coords from refinery give you.

    Welp, a bunch of choppers downed today. Was using interstate locks on android virtual using the GPS coordinates direct from refinery & no VPN. Guess I'll have to be a bit less lazy for the new chopper fleet.

            @cwongtech: Yeah, I have. Will have to play a bit more carefully than previously to avoid the G09. Might test out some accounts on Android VM vs iPad/iFakeLocation to see which is more likely to get shot down.

              I believe you need to redeem a chopper locked price before it gets G09'd.
              It looks like (from my view anyway) that chopper locking itself doesn't cause the G09

                @cwongtech: Locked a couple earlier this week in WA but hadn't used them. Tried logging into those accounts today but most were G09'd. The accounts had been used locked interstate in the past without issue. Usually locking 24hrs+ before using them interstate.

                Worked fine without issue for months (years?) now so I was surprised to see it happen. Only recent changes were the recent forced update and using the Android Studio VM instead of Nox.

                @cwongtech: For what its worth I haven't been g9ed yet on either of my account's. Only chopper locked and redeemed in the last week for one account twice though.

    I know this is 7-11 chat but NSW fuel check shows Ampol Manly with U91 @ 154.9c/L, if you're nearby tonight, 51c/L cheaper than some nearby sites in Mosman

      Yes. Was having issues locking yesterday.

      Had to use an alternate iphone that hasn't been upgraded to the latest iOS.

    Getting a "No Local Price Available" message once setting the location using 3utools. But can correctly find fuel lock in local areas if set the location back to default.

    Is this something new that has been updated by the 7-11 app? didn't have this issue before.

    Is anyone currently getting a 'G09' error when they try to login to their My 7 Eleven? I had a fuel lock on there which I was about to use, I'm wondering if they have detected it (which is locked in a different state)

      "G09" most likely means your account has been cancelled/blocked by 7-11.

        That is a massive bummer. I might spin up the good ol' backup account and fuel lock that and hopefully redeem it before that gets cancelled or blocked as well hahaha

    Are people getting g09 after using ifakelocation/3utools (iOS?)

    I know for android we are going experiencing it, just curious whether it's an android only thing or iOS as well

      iOS here.
      Have been hit with G09 after locking in 161.9 for u95 2 days ago. But that was probably me not being careful and locking in on 4 accounts for friends and family in quick succession.

      My new setup is gonna be just one account per device and using vpn to vary source IP. Dunno if it’s gonna make a difference but we will see

        Does that mean they are only banning accounts if you use multiple accounts on one phone?

        I screenshot my lock barcode and send it to my mum - she lives in a regional area where fuel is always more expensive, so she gets the Sydney price through my barcode screenshot.

        I don't use a fake location thing on my phone, it's my real location, but obviously hours away from her location when she redeems using my barcode screenshot.

        Do you think they are likely to ban my account for this if they detect it is being redeemed hours away from where it was locked in?

        We only do this about once a month or less.

        I've actually been asking her to get her own account and I would log in and lock for her and then she logs in on hers to redeem, but I now think my screenshot way is actually safer?

      Yep got G09 error on my main account today. Also locked in 95 at 161.9 the other day. I actually got someone on here to do it for me as I was away from the computer for the day… wonder if that’s got anything to do with it. Damn, I had a free can of V in there!

          If you call customer service they will not unlink it.

    Found a workaround for iOS folks - Those who are on apple ecosystem, I presume would have iPad. 3utools works fine with iPad :)

    So price lock with your iPad and re-login to your account in iPhone to redeem the price lock.

    Since our choppers are banned from flying, 7/11 should be on our blacklist. We should all get fuel from fuel stations other than 7/11.

    Merged from New 7/11 Fuel App on Android Working Lock

    I can't comment on the stickied thread (is it locked?)

    I've followed the latest Android Studio guide (for computer) installing the shared apps with my phone. (Lineage 19.1 / Android 12)

    And while that didn't work, I've found Gps Setter in LSposed modules list.

    • Enabled it in LsPosed
    • Removed the mock app from developers settings
    • Selected 7/11 in LsPosed > Gps Setter
    • Selected a location with gps setter
    • Opened 7/11 and it didn't see the trick and let me lock remotely!

        I don't have a computer with Windows and couldn't quite be bothered to install a VM for it, so I tried your Android Studio guide but the VM runs terribly on my old mac.

        Then I tried the Android Studio way on my phone which didn't work and that's when I found Gps Setter in LsPosed which bypasses the Mock app setting.

        I opened the app at the pump to use pay and go, and it gave me a "Something went wrong" or something similar. No error codes. Eventually let me use Pay n Go but then didn't apply a fuel lock and looking at the fuel lock tab, it was empty.

        I locked yesterday and only use it on my one phone and one account.
