I think he means that they can't install 3rd party software to customise/reprogram the buttons. The mouse is still usable.

Upgraded Version with digital display. I think it is a decent price as it comes with a 5000 mAh battery.

Agree. The magnet cap feature is a bit gimmicky. I just tighten the cap instead of relying on the magnet.
