You must enter the discount voucher promotional code number prior to checkout

The voucher entitles the user to a $200 discount off any handset when purchasing a handset over $300 Recommended Retail Price (excludes delivery costs).

The coupon expires 29 Feb 2012 (The expriry is for usage. Not sure how long the allamazingdeals website will be handing out these coupon codes).

        I called them today. Delivery will be within 7-14 days if you received "order no". Fingers cross

          1. They will honor it if you have received the confirmation email with the Order No. on it?
          2. They will still honor your order even if you didn't get a call from AP?

        • My understanding is, if you received confirmation email with order no, you will get the handset within 7-14 days.

        • Don't believe so. Order number may be the same if the same code was used multiple times.

    Is anyone able to order via email as stated on the mod edit yet?

    • That was temporary and no longer applies. They currently aren't accepting orders, but have stated that they will contact code holders when the codes not yet used are able to be used again.

    • No call or email yet from them, apart from the confirmation email. Were they supposed to call to give us a consignment number for tracking or something?

      • well, i called them and was told there would be up to 2 weeks verification process for all the orders and no guarantee on pre-xmas delivery. the transaction still pending tho. i saw zn7726 mentioned his payment went through, that is why i am kinda wondering if anyone has their order dispatched.

        • No contact from them yet, although I've sent 2 emails asking if my order will be honored or not.

  • A few people have reported a call from AP. I too am eager to find out if they will honor the deal. I paid by CC, and whilst I can see a deduction for the payment in the balance amount, I do not actually have a record from AP accepting payment on my statement. Could mean its not processed - anyone else the same? or this could mean they are going to give a refund?

      I got a Order Number too so we should be sweet.

      They cannot really hold your funds for 14 days then give a refund, too many implications… such as interest that you would have gained while the money is in the bank.

      I keep looking out for the postman lol

  • Looks like the Xperia Arc has been removed from outright handsets on allphones.

    Was the one I was gonna get if my code got validated for use :-(

    • They're either sold out in the mad rush or AllPhones has decided that they're not making any profit at $185 a piece.
      Pity, would've been a real bargain.

      • They are in the black because they don't have to spend money for advertising. Many people don't know AP before like me. They are hoping to be put in the front page of news paper because of the deal.

    just got a call from all phones..they confirmed my address and handset that i ordered for delivery. i had ordered 2 different handsets using the same code i was given. they said it was suppose to be one voucher per person and allowed to order only once. so they will be sending out just one of my orders.

        • Same here. Haven't seen the payment on my CC's transaction history, although the payment seemed went through after i provided my CC detail on CBA's payment screen.

      Yup, I just got my phone call too… the guy said they got slammed with 5,000 orders…mostly because of Ozbargain :D
      Confirmed it will be delivered by Christmas

          We could only order about 2 hours, so I put 20 orders per min (That's plenty and incredible) = (20 * 60)*2 = 2400 orders approximately

      Got the call, phone on way. My order number a bit below fallen41ln and above Fungus and zn, so it's possible going in reverse order as my colleague who also ordered before me hasn't got a call yet. Also maybe depends on phone ordered?

      Ganz, a lot of negs for this deal, but thanks for posting! Seems a lot of us got a great deal, and hopefully people with vouchers but no order yet will get their chance :)

        • I was told would be dispatched today and should arrive by Thursday. No idea if that's overly optomistic or the same for everyone or not.

  • I got the discount code, but missed out on ordering one. Once Allphones start taking more orders, I was planning to get the Motorola Razr, but it looks like they are no longer selling them outright? :-/

    • They are probably planning to increase the price and start taking orders again after X-mas.

      • I'd be a bit surprised if they increase the price because most customers don't have the $200 discount code, so they'll loose customers. If they do actually increase the price, I'll wait until they drop the price again since the discount code is meant to be valid until February.

        • the price for few phone actually increased a bit, like 20ish whilst they reduced availability of the outright handsets. IMHO, i do not really expect a significant price drop or restoration even to Feb with some latest released models.

  • I called them this morning to cancel my order which has not been processed yet. To cancel I need to wait for the phone, pay the postage to send it back then get a 20% restocking fee. Is this right?
    So I wait to wait 14 working days for the phone to be delivered and hopefully I will get the phone by next year :-)

Interesting thing happened is i indeed just ordered a Motorola Razr, somehow they mentioned i placed the order on multiple handsets before i clarified my order details further. I was then told the phone will be delivered either by end of this week or early of next week due to xmas rash. Good to see things getting settled. BTW, both of my order and voucher numbers are about couple hundreds earlier than fallen41Ln, seems they doing at reversed-chronological order.

  • Got a call from AllPhones confirming my postal address. Said it will be posted in the next couple of days! Well done AllPhones!

        The lady on the phone spoke very fast, but was kind enough to repeat questions I didn't hear clearly or answer my questions.

        • I just got call from them. I ordered two but only 1 of them will be honoured because I used 1 code twice. I actually have 4 codes but only one was working. The lady said the competition.. no, the promotion only allows the code being used one time.

  • just called to Allphones Online Sales and complained about why it took so long to ship out the S2. He was sorry for the delay because they had to check through 5000 orders on that day (five thousand).

    Then they asked for my code, and checked it, and confirmed the code was ok, and said the phone will be delivered soon.

  • Did everyone miss this? Nothing about the phone that it has to be more than $300 at the time of purchase. Only it's rrp has to be more than $300.

    I have a receipt and order number from allphones last week using a code i received,purchesed a sg2,had my cc charged,rang the bank to confirm what company debited my cc,which was allphones,just logged onto internet banking and they have returned the $390.95,DONT HOLD YOUR HOPES UP GUYS
    PS/Did send an email mon morning to ask a question but no reply as yet

      SNAP - had order SG2 and received confirmation + payment went through (confirmed @ 10:16am) - checked CC (online) this morning and AllPhones have refunded - no phone call or email. Poor customer service here, I'd expect a least a 'standard' email response why … #FAIL #ALLPHONES

        Mine went through about the same time, I reckon they are out of stock. and by the sounds of it they have processed in reverse order, so those who got in early are paying the price!

      But that's exactly what you've done. You haven't confirmed with them if your order has actually been cancelled, or if so, why.

      As jasecs said, maybe someone else tried to use your voucher code (which, if true, is really bad luck for you). In which case, you might still get it after you actually talk to them.

    wtf! same thing just happened to me. they refunded the payment. I got the code in a ligit fashion and used it in time. didnt try to take advantage of their system by using +/- codes. phone was also +$300rrp.

      they aren't telling us anything. just "your phone will be within 14 working days"
      i called 138000 option 3, option 1.
      representative picks up almost instantly but they just say the same thing over and over.

      they cant even tell me if my payments been accepted.
      i got my confirmation of order email from allphoens on the 14th of dec and have had a pending card authorisation on my debit card since the 14th.

    • Just called them. First thing the guy asked was: "Did you use a promotional code with your order?" Yes
      then asked "From where?" Amazing Deals.
      Answer "You will get the phone 7 - 14 days from the day you received the confirmation email"
      What a standard answer. He didn't even ask about my order number!
