    • got some from this, cheers mate

    • Legend

    • Awesome!

    • Absolute champion. Saved me driving an extra 20 minutes across town.

    • You're a rockstar!

  • Thanks, got 4

  • Cheers got 10.

  • My local was out of stock, but searching for "Storage container", they had 2 the same, but one had more stock.

Be careful when checking out. The total was more than what I expected, because the SCA Club Plus Membership adds $5 to the total.

  • …got a pickup email just now. off to grab em before they disappear :D

  • +1

If C&C is unavailable, try this link:
    https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/sca-sca-storage-containe…
Looks like the same item but different stock levels.

  • +3

    Great deal. Thanks OP
    - Hope everyone used their discounted gift cards, I got 8% off

  • Got a call saying they didn't have enough at closest store, but they're sending order to another one. Better not get another call…

Wish sites wouldn't let you buy things that aren't in stock despite saying it is, happens to me way too often

  • Panic buying here ??

    • Ah bucket, why not.

  • Been wanting a tap and die set for a while. Took a gamble and bought the 24 piece metric one. Anyone know if it is decent quality?

  • +1

Panic buying here ?? If yes , I may want five too .

  • +1

Just picked up, 52L has better quality apparently

    • +1

They are. I just picked up 22 (52L) and my wife had previously bought a 53L box. It's flimsy in comparison. Fine for light loads only.

  • +2

…picked up, quality is pretty good. not as good as the 45L black / clear ones that cost around $10 which i consider 'heavy duty' but still pretty robust.

they stack pretty well but the lids might not stand up to too much abuse…wheels are ok but same again they probably wont like being abused
cant complain….for 3 bucks something each pretty sweet.

oh and theyve been overwhelmed with orders thanks to us…even the checkout lady complimented me on my bargain skills :P

    • +2

My store had 4 piles of them behind the counter. My pile of 22 was the largest though :)

  • Just ordered 10 for pick up - cheers OP.

  • Am I doing something wrong or is it sold out all over Melbourne? Every store I choose comes up as Not stocked.

  • +1

I just went instore to pickup the 53L ones and cancelled the order…flimsy af… Only good for keeping it stationery and taking things in/out of it. Ordered the 52L ones from a store slightly further away so will go tomorrow to pickup.

    • Not so concerned about being called for them to cancel mine. Apparently stock was misrepresented…….. Sure.

Anyway, got the call last weekend, still haven't received my refund!

      • Got my refund within 2 days after visiting store and getting a return shipment notice. It's even credited to my account which usually takes 5 days.

        • Well I paid online, and received a call telling me not to bother coming to collect. I don't see the logic in having to personally visit the store to receive my refund.

I'll give them a call I suppose, it's been on my to do list.

  • Got pickup notification for my 9x52L

  • +1

Screw you guys…. I'm going home

    https://ibb.co/YBh2wxn

FYI the small ones are awesome too.

    • Why are you agro at us? :(

      Nice haul.

    • What are those small ones? I need those too

      EDIT: Found them $2.49 each

  • Incase anyone wondering, 52 l is not on sale in store, at least in Brisbane. They are quite sturdy than 53l. Better get it online and pick it from store.

    • Must be a QLD or they’re just wrong as it’s a catalogue special down here.

  • The 22 litre also half price for $2.5 good for small storage

  • At least 7or 8 52L containers at belconnen, ACT but they can’t find the lids

  • They changed my order from the 52L to the 53L because they have 'over 400 click and collect orders'. Gave me them for cheaper price, so not complaining.

    • +3

      52L is better

  • Got 10, cheers OP!

  • Cheers OP :)

  • Grabbed 6, thanks!

  • Just picked up my 30 x 52L

Guy said he came into work this morning and there were 50 orders for containers lol

I told him it was on ozbargain and he’s like hey I go on ozbargain too!

  • Thanks. Moving house. Bought 12 for storage in the new place pending a garage being built. They can double as moving containers.

  • Picked up my 10 x 52 L, the lid is paper thin.

    • You should check the 53l, worst than 52l. But hey for the price, it's good deal.

    • +3

Hey for the price of a lunch box container, I don't expect more ;-) Probably not meant for stacking when loaded, but to go on shelves.

  • +1

It seems I am the only one whose order is canceled! Ordered 14 from Thomastown VIC.

    • Nope, me too!

Got called Friday last week and still haven't received my refund.

  • Picked up my few from Kotara and there was a single order about 20 to 30 high waiting for someone… I'm assuming an ozbargainer bought up big :)

    • When I ordered last night Kotara was showing no stock so I ordered mine from Bennetts Green. Then today Glendale (my local) showed up with stock so I got more there.

  • -1

I grabbed 30, bloke at the store asked if I saw it on OzB as he has bulk orders lol

  • +1

    I went back for seconds.

    Now have 32 x 52L and 15 x 22L

    Great timing for a move.

  • My local store rang me and said they didnt have the 52L and offered the 53L for same price, or I can wait and they will transfer stock to that store. Said Id rather wait!

    • +2

Considering the 53L are cheaper than 52L, their offer was pretty lousy.

    • +1

They will call you in a few days time to say they couldn't arrange/get stock. The only sure safe way to get hold of these is to get them yourself. That's my recommendation anyway.

      • They also mentioned if they can't transfer stock they will ship it to my door free of charge. Will see what happends

  • I'm late to the party, just saw this and the other half has been wanting to tidy up the attic by putting everything in nice neat boxes instead of random cardboard boxes. Looked all over SA, despite living near the CBD we're going to go for a drive to Gawler. On the plus side, the new Northern Connector road opened yesterday so we can check that out!

  • The website is saying "Not stocked" for most stores in NSW. Guessing everyone has snapped these up?

    • +1

Everyone’s busy packing their eneloops into them now

  • Bought 4 of the 53L one at Malaga WA. Still plenty left in both black and red.

    • Tons of red and black 53L left SOR.

  • No stock.

  • How did everyone get their orders fulfilled? I got a call saying mine's cancelled due to no stock and they won't be getting anymore.

    • …i ordered 8x friday evening…picked up at my local sca saturday am. done.
at this price they were bound to be popular so getting in early is the key ;)

  • No stock of 52L in ACT.

  • damnnit late to the party
any stores in melb still showing stock? none that i could see

    • +1

..not looking good last time i checked. every store SE / E melb suburbs literally all out of stock

  • Can someone measure these and let this Ozbargainer know if they accurately hold 52 and 53L

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/523450

  • Anyone know of any good price shelving / racks for these?

I still have 6 crossbeams from this old deal, but never got any uprights.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/393006

Anyone know if the Bunnings uprights fit?

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/search/products?page=1&q=shelvin…

    • +1

They're all similar-but-different. Without sitting them face to face, it's merely a guess. Personally, I'd buy one & see. It's decent gauge steel, so you could look to customise it. ie: drill & bolt in suitable meaty sections. Happy to advise on that, but need close-up photos.

I'm still milking a win from 5 years ago. Helped refurb a medium-sized petrol station. They were chucking THE LOT. I saved enough food grade commercial aluminium shelving from the coolroom to sort myself & two family members garage!

    • funny that tunzafun, i have a box of the uprights and no cross beams.

either you sell me yours or i sell you mine.

      both in Adelaide!

      • Nice! How many uprights? And what size? I've only got 6 cross beams (1.2m). Think you need two cross beams per shelf. Likewise, you need at least two uprights to join the beams, can make a double with 3 uprights. So I originally ordered 3 uprights, but they accidentally gave them out to someone else when I went to collect my order (Kilkenny store).

Could swap you 2 for 2? 3 for 3 will be tricky with half a shelf support. But that would be almost ideal for what I originally was hoping to do.

        • i got a box that has 4 uprights in it, i wouldn't mind another two beams to put a top shelf on the one i made.

looks like i stacked two shelves (two end pieces) on top of each other and used 4 cross beams total, cos 2 for each (because they screw into each other in stacking so it's stable enough)

so i think you could do same as me currently (but you wouldn't have a top shelf or bottom - i'm using the ground).

          • @cynicalmike: Kinda lost me on this one. you have 4 spare uprights? Or used all the uprights in a modified way?

I'm happy to give up 2 cross beams for 2 uprights. At least then I would have a single stack of 2 shelves.

            • @tunzafun001: i have 4 spare uprights. (4 in a box, sealed) they can stack on top of each other and bolt to each other (to double the height). they are 900mm high, so stacking them makes it 1800mm high. more cross beams = more shelves.

              • @cynicalmike: Ah, got ya. If you will part with them let me know. I'm in Marion area, but need to head out Gepps Cross way in next few days.

  • Why do people continue voting up while there is no stock?

  • +2

ordered 10 x 52l but there is none left when I went to pick up. I was then offered to check other container for replacement.
I picked the 45l black one with wheels and they gave me 16 of them as its smaller even if it cost 9.90 each. Thanks SCA!

    • …you scored. theyre great …very robust & durable

    • Sounds like you get a better deal than the rest of us. If they’re the containers I’m thinking of they’re stronger than the grey ones.

    • yeah they are much better! i had to wait for a while as it busy when i was there and few people were picking up container as well, they weren't very nice when they were informed that their ordered couldn't be fulfilled lol. So i was just waiting for her to deal with them first.
