Anyone used these and can comment on their quality? Looks like the 52L one looks better.

    • +2

the design & molding looks more durable on the 52L. i went with those

    • As our local store seems out of stock,
      Add a mere $149 shipping

(The Pick-up option is Not available)

I presume we're late finding this, eh?

  • +5

Thanks OP cheap garage storage ordered six for pickup tomorrow at local store.

Quality may be questionable but the price is right.

  • +1

Need more of these to store my empty cans in Qld.

    Cheers mate

    • -4

To store your "empty cans in QLD", i get it, lmao, you're such a hoot, :D

  • +1

Just got 10 for pickup tomorrow

    • …8x for me. lucky theres lots of stock! :D

      • +4

More stock than toilet paper anyway.

        • …maybe we can trade storage for toilet paper with the hoarders…? i mean theyre gonna need storage right?

          • +4

@franco cozzo: Especially when nobody (hopefully) buys TP off them.

  • -2

Perfect for storing my loo paper. Hahaha

    • +2

No, just keep them in the packaging. Less wastage in space

      • No, just keep them in the packaging. Less wastage in space

…but easier to store on terra firma.

    • +3

no, stop with these toilet paper jokes

      • +1

Yes, they're getting crappier and crappier.

        • +1

Can barely wipe the smile from my face and can't help but crack up.

          • @chyawala: Let's not digress though, this is a stinking good deal.

  • +20

moving house these are cheaper than cardboard boxes

    • +39

Paying for cardboard boxes should be an instant warning @OzBargain

    • +7

I feel like the way I jam pack my boxes they would break as I have had bad experiences with these kind of boxes.. always get cracked or chipped easily then the whole integrity of the box falls apart and you can't use it to it's max capacity.

  • +1

yep nice…will go well in the garage with the warehouse shelving
    thanks op!

  • Is anyone else having difficulty in paying with PayPal?

    • …nah went straight thru. make sure you check the terms & conditions checkbox & choose/enter an address otherwise it wont let you proceed to paypal

      • Hmm! I made a purchase early today from the ToolPro deal and had no issues with PayPal, although I was home at the time and used my PC to pay. Now on my phone I can't select the PayPal option. It's frozen.

        • +1

          damn…try another device or browser?

    • No,

  • Cheers just bought 10

    • Good deal

      • Got another 12. Moving house soon, they'll come in handy.

Is everyone buying the 52L? That's what I got. Looks sturdier than the 53L

  • We needed so,e new storage boxes for auto equipment and camping gear.
We got 6 for $6 each
How good is that, and quality is up there with others

Apparently the 52L one was on sale a few months ago - 6 for $6?! what a steal.

    • +4

…6 for $6 EACH = $36. were doing substantially better!

      • +2

        Maths is hard ok.

  • Cheers got 7x

  • -3

Going to need to get a fair few of these to stockpile toilet paper in :D

    • +2

no, stop with these toilet paper jokes

      • +1

… personally I LUURVE seeing these same jokes keep popping up on deals, however tenuous the link to toilet paper…

  • -5

Cool got 50 to store all my toilet paper

    • I hope you have more toilet rolls than that, you need at least 2 weeks worth

  • +1

If anything, handy for preppers to keep their tinned goods/staples in.

    • I feel like these kind of storage containers would break and crack if you tried to fill it up with tin cans and anything solid or dense heavy.

Especially if you tried to stack them vertically for more storage.

I remember some inferior ones basically crumbling with the weight of stacks of papers.

  • I like how the cart automatically adds the "Club Plus Membership"

    • +3

..if you dont have it you should grab it though.

  • +1

seems a lot in stock every where. Bought 8 from my local for pickup tomorrow. Thanks OP.

    • Central Coast NSW; only stock is Erina.

  • no wheels on one side is a bummer.

EDIT: oh it says roller wheels… ill check tomorrow when I pick them up.

    Thanks OP.

  • Got 4 good for garage storage thanks OP

    • +7

"What is this….a garage for ANTS?!"

  • +1

    • Lol. Plenty of stores around to pick up.

  • Thanks got 10

  • Got 9 pickup hopefully not cancelled. Got the 52L for the wheels

  • pertef for body in the trunk

    • You need two for that

      • Not if you have a chainsaw.
        Or hydrofluoric acid.

  • Just ordered 10 52L containers thanks.

  • Ordered 6 for pick up tomorrow. Was also going to cost me $110 shipping in VIC!

  • +1

    Got 5, thank you OP.

Will be able to relocate all my emergency foods from the pantry into these.

  • -1

      • Great idea! Got 10!
My partner is going to kill me

        • +3

          Coffin sorted, then.

        • so, uh, have you decided who you're going to bequeath your eneloop collection to? asking for an ozbargainer ;)

  • Very cheap! Ordered 12 for our house move!

  • -3

I wonder how much TP these can store?

    • +3

no, stop with these toilet paper jokes

      • -3

        How about garden hoses?

How many can we store? :)

  • +1

Perfect timing for our house move, was planning to visit bunnings tomorrow for $4 cardboxes. Ordered 16x 52L ones for $52. Thanks OP.

  • Nearly ozbargained, could only get 5 near home.

  • Thanks, got 4

  • 52ltr or 53? any personal reviews? looking for a durable one..

    • +2

Don't think the 53 litre have wheels so if that's important to you, get the 52.

      • thanks..dont need wheels.

      • +1

Wheels! where we’re going we don’t need wheels.

    • Whatever is available near you mate. It's running out pretty quick .. couldn't find 52L near me.

    • +1

52L, the construction (sidewall shape) and handles look more durable. Comment about the 53L said that they break if heavier than 10kg.

  • Wow.. 53L works out cheaper than 52L if bought in pairs. Got 6 x 53L as I couldn't find 52L for C&C near my location.

    • +1

Looks more flimsy and no wheels

  • Thanks. Don't need it but I just bought 10.

  • What does 'Not Stocked' mean? The product isn't stocked there at all or just out of stock? The store I bought from, along with others, that had stock early are now showing 'Not Stocked'. It would suck if they refund me tomorrow when all other stores will get OzBargained.

    • could be both.
      they just don't have stock.

they'll often call you to arrange a suitable replacement or ask if you want a refund.

  • What is the return policy if change mind?
Bought both 52L and 53L, but if 53L not good, like to return them.

    • +3

Easy refund with docket, your $3 spend is safe.

      • What about the money spent on petrol though?

        • You can ask them to refund that too

          • @Click_It: And the Macca's I had to have also as it's a long drive?

  • i thought about buying a couple of these with my $5 club credit, but settled on some wipes instead; thanks to all the hoarding (profanity), i couldn't get them anywhere else

  • +3

Thanks OP, got 10. Needed 0.

  • -3

Is it still cheap say if I get 10 delivered?

There is no way I can get it picked up I think unless I pay a friend like $20 to take me there and back maybe but we will probably burn more money in fuel costs.

    • +1

Hand in your OB membership you have breached the terms and conditions. Security!

      • But but but officer I swear I was going to negotiate it down even further and then post the deal back to the OB community I promise I swear officer on my eneloops life!

  • +14

There is another product link for the similar 52L item (at least from the page details) with more stock (checked for VIC) : https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/sca-sca-storage-containe…

    • That's weird. You're right, it's the same product (except the item codes) and the one you've linked is showing stock in many stores here in SA as well.
