    no capacitance. no transistor test. even cheapo multimeters can do that. the one in the other deal was true-rms and auto-ranging.

      Yep. This one uses 9V battery and the other one uses 2 AAA batteries. We want to use our eneloops! Op should live up to his name and do not need others to join group.

      The ZT102. About $20 on eBay now, and still great value.

      What is special about the Hyelec, compared to other sub-$10 meters?

    Yep. A good quality multimeter will set you back a few bucks , but at least you can trust it. I’d use this on auto spark work -that’s it.

    You DO want an Aneng AN8002 for few bucks more or few bucks less if you patient enough.

  • Nah. If your playing with 240 or 415 , just cough up for a Fluke.

      Totally agree. Not worth it. These cheap ones are great on 12v, but thats about it

      • I didn’t even look at it. Would anyone test amps thru this??? Surely not.
