Anko/Mirabella 2-in-1 Portable Lamp & 10W Wireless Charging Base $10 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store/ OnePass/ $65 Order) @ Kmart

3270

While I was just looking for a wireless charging base, I saw they are getting rid of the $49 RRP lamps for $10.

It has a 10W charging capacity and a battery that allows you to use the lamp without needing to be tied to a power point.

  • 10W wireless charging base

    • is that fast charge?

  • +1

The touch lamp itself is already worth $10.

    • +3

Of you don't need the charger base, there's also this>

Is it USBC powered or micro USB? Need to make sure if existing cables/adapter is able to power this up?

    • +15

      USBC
      Source: just opened one up

      • Fantastic!! Definitely Worth bargain for 10$

      • Does it say what the power rating is for just the led light?

Edit: got notification ready for pick up

      • Not necessarily. I ordered for c&c a bit after 12, still no confirmation and now there's no stock left so they'll prolly cancel it

  • +1

    Thanks OP ordered 3 !!!

  • I wonder how bright it is

  • Thank you op. Purchased 2 via onepass 🤞🤞

  • Grabbed one earlier, could have picked it up today but figured I may as well make them send it for "free" via OnePass.

    Thanks OP

  • +4

One at Target is identical, Anko branded, on clearance for $20

    • +2

      But 2x the price

      • but as of today only target still has stock left to order online ♟️

  • Is there a charging light that you can't turn off during charge?

    • +3

You can always make it off with blu tack

    • +1

There is but it's probably the smallest charging LED I've ever seen. I doubt you'll notice it.

  • Buy now, think later

  • Great deal. Shall resist

  • +1

Got 2 via OnePass. Thanks OP!

  • +1

USB powered, Likely to be very dim as a light.

    • Does that apply to all rechargeable lights? I have many USB powered rechargeable Wubens and they're not dim. Obviously very different products but both charged via USB C.

    • If its 5v2A that would be 10w, about on par with a typical LED bulb

      • That is the capacity of the base. The led is actually battery powered, which means it will have a smaller draw to extend the usage time.

  • Bought 2

      Cool light story bro.

  • +9

Sharp pricing but that is one fugly lamp! 😂

  • Thanks OP. My OnePass membership runs out in a few days so couldn’t resist this opportunity.

Tip: Holding the On/Off button lowers/increases the brightness.

    • +1

Nice as a night light. Looks a bit flimsy though.

    • +1

so the light and the charging base can be taken apart and used separately? do they have their own usb cables? asking in case I don't like the light and would keep the base.

      • +4

Yep, the light docks on the charging base and can just be picked up.
Usb c port on the dock and another on the light. Light can be charged without the dock.
        Handy for camping..

    • Isn't that a different product?

  • Thanks OP
    Got 2

  • +2

Pretty sure these are Anko not Mirabella. Not that it makes a difference.

    • When I went to collect mine from Chaddy, there were about a dozen on the shelf. Some were Anko branded and some were not. I suspect this is due to the Target merger.

      • I noticed that too. I have one and it was not branded as Anko, but neither as Mirabella.

Also the one I have flickers if I’m charging at the same time. IDK if it’s a common thing or just a faulty one.

        • same here. it flickers

    • Mine arrived yesterday - No branding on the box itself. Anko branding on the instructions inside

  • Cheers - got 3.

  • +2

No more stock at Dandenong plaza.
However, around 15 on the shelves near the electronics counter at Clayton M-City.
Price tag says $20, but definitely scans at just $10.

  • +1

What is the chance of cancellation? No high hope from Kmart stock management. A complete waste of time last time trying to hunt the Tapo outdoor cam at 3-4 locations.

  • +1

Don’t need one, so I bought one

  • Bought one and got cancelled.

    • That was a quick cancellation

  • +1

    12 left Helensvale Kmart

  • Mine flickers while charging a phone. Might just be mine, so YMMV.

  • What's the cheapest adapter I can buy from Kmart or Bunnings to go with this? Bought 3. Thanks

  • Any rough idea how quick for full charge?

    • +2

Will depend on the capacity of your battery and the efficiency of your phone's wireless charging hardware.

It is a 10W unit, but some estimates put wireless charging at 80%, meaning it is best for overnight trickle charging. And since it expect a 10W power supply, you will see slower charging if it is charging the lamp's battery at the same time as charging your phone.

  • Saw heaps in Launceston (TAS), ticket still says $20 but scans for $10.

    • Just grabbed one. One left.

  • Grabbed 2, great find OP

  • +1

Bought one yesterday online for C&C, got cancelled this morning.

    • Same.

  • None left at maddington and cannington wa

  • Those that have received one, when light is off, does the light stay on a light blue colour?
I can't figure how to turn that off

    • The only lights that remain on are the status light for the lamp (located near USB-C port on the bottom of the lamp's body, and the status light for the wireless charging feature, located in the centre of the charging base.

      • Mine continues to have this very light blue. I guess it's just mine that does this?

        • It is a blue light? I had another look at it in a completely dark room and there IS a slightly glow. This is due to the green / red charging status light on the base of the lamp part (the green one next to the USB-C port) reflecting internally and a portion of the light passing out through the top of the lamp.

          • @mpember: My blue light is definitely coming from the lamp. It doesn't completely go off when I switch it off so it's quite distracting in a dark room.

Is there a way to reset the bulb?

    • I think you are hitting the power button on the outside ring when trying to turn it off. That just turns the lamp to colour mode, it doesn't turn it off. Once in colour mode you can select any colour you want by tapping the colour on that outer ring.
To turn it off completely, I tap the centre power button about 3/4 times until it turns off. It cycles between 3 white mode and then off.

      • Thanks for the help. But I can confirm it's the centre power button and it cycles the whites to then 'off', but that goes to a mode with a very low light blue. Doesn't actually turn off.
Also my box was delivered with the plastic tab was tampered with (where the top flap of the carton opens). I've a feeling this was a faulty item and returned.

        • Ahh ok, maybe yours is faulty as per your suspicions then.
Ours turns off after cycling the centre power button enough times. No light coming from it whatsoever in true off mode.
Lucky Kmart is pretty good with returns ;-)

          • @Arcticfox: Thanks for that!
Just returned. The service rep agreed it was not supposed to behave like that.

            • @sphinxy: One of the ones I purchased is doing the same thing, but instead of a blue light it's a green light emitting from the bulb area which I'm unable to turn off.

Other unit I purchased doesn't seem to have this issue, so certainly seems like some kind of defect.

  • is this Anko or Mirebella?

    • The brand may differ between packaging, but the product is the same. The one I was sold had Anko branding.

  • Already sold out online and now out of stock in most stores :(

  • It is not a very fast charging/ probably X2 times longer.

You have to position the phone at a particular angle and probably remove any phone case/cover too.

    • It clearly states that it is only a 10W charger.

  • +1

I ordered one on Thursday morning for delivery and received the confirmation email, now Saturday afternoon and Kmart have just cancelled the order.

  • as mentioned by floxyz, identical model available at target for the higher price of $20 - but it does have the advantage of still being in stock online https://www.target.com.au/p/2-in-1-portable-lamp-charging-ba…

  • Can this charge apple watch

    • no, unfortunately you can't charge an apple watch with a regular wireless charger. only possible to charge it on a device which has the watch-specific magnetic charging puck

  • 10+ in stock and on the shelf in Shepparton, VIC.

  • Mine just arrived but my iPhone 15 doesn't charge (with or without MagSafe case). Is there a trick that I’m missing or do I have a dud?

    • wife's iPhone 16 is charging fine with it.

      • Is the charging speed fine or very slow?

        • Very slow on mine. Doubt it's 10w, probably more like 5w… if that.

        • Non-existent - I’ve got it to work a couple of times by spending a long time moving it around. I’ve tried two different phones. Seems my charging pad is cooked - lamp works fine!

          • @reneecatherine: If it helps it takes about 8 hours to charge from 50 to 100% on mine. Iphone 14.

  • Anyone tried with galaxy watch ?

    • Doesn’t work with Gear S3 frontier watch…works well with S21 FE phone + case and Buds 2 though!

Had a bit of trouble with an older S7 phone + case (thicker I believe)…need to position it "just right" for it to charge
