Expect stock to arrive at dealer by Wednesday next week and then shipping to take additional 3-5 working days. So ETA around May 4th.
As website clearly states:
"Estimated stock arrival at warehouse is 4-7 working days. They will be filled in the order they are received."
"Economy Express Shipping 3-5 working days delivery"
It doesn't say that clearly anywhere I can see. In fact their FAQ says "We will try to dispatch within the next working day …"
That said, having looked into eGlobal, the wait isn't unexpected.
It says it right on the product page on a big rectangular box. Granted I honestly didn't think it would take them just under two weeks to dispatch it.
Ah well, waiting trains patience in my case. I'm pretty sure my Asus A50 Android 1.6 phone will cope for a few weeks longer. Still going strong after 5+ years.

Fair enough , maybe they had more stock of the gold .. From my experience .. You should receive it within 2 to 3 days .. It will come via Toll express . I actually had a phone dispatched by Eglobal on Friday morning and received it on Monday arvo.

@superm86: Toll ipec I think. I got a card from them this afternoon but I wasn't at home. Went to their website and there were two options to choose from: 1) go to the nearest depot to collect; or 2) arrange for redelivery. For the redelivery you could give instructions for them to leave the package at your preferred location.

Absolutely, They should have informed everyone about the delay. That would be the courteous thing to do. But I dont imagine they expected to sell so many,and ran out of inventory. Maybe they didn't expect to get ozbargained.. ;)

Hey sorry about the delay. Had to jump on a plane Thursday. Been playing with my phone since then. Didn't bother loading a rom since it was factory sealed. Just did an OTA update to 7.2 (takes a while btw).
Freaking love this phone. I actually like a lot of the Miui features. But there's also a few things I'm a bit meh about, but probably just a learning curve. It's smooth and fast so I don't see any need to change the Roman. Although I'll have to get used to no app drawer. :(
Been playing Hearthstone a bit and it's runs perfectly smooth.
Battery life is a amazing. I didn't realize these had a 4000mha battery.
All up I'm super happy with my purchase. Zero regrets. Truly got a bargin here.
