eBay 10% off Sitewide (Min Spend $100, Max Discount $300, 3 Transactions, Excludes Postage)

CRUSHONYOU

eBay is offering 10% off everything starting Tuesday 09.02.16.

Cashback Rate
Cashrewards 1.25%
PricePal 1.25%
ShopandMint 2% - 2.50%

I received a targeted offer from eBay for 10% off, but I didn't use and it was expired, so I called eBay to see, if they can re-generate a 10% code again. That's when eBay reps told me over the phone that eBay is actually having a 10% OFF SITEWIDE promotion from 09.02.2016 at 10:00AM till 12.02.2016

  • End date: Friday 12/02/16
  • 10% off site wide (excludes postage)
  • Minimum spend $100, maximum discount $300.
  • Limit 3 transactions per person during the Offer Period.
  • The following categories are excluded: Services (316), Cars, Bikes, Boats (9800), Tickets, Travel (11,730) and Gift Cards (172,009).

FAQ: I just checked my PayPal invoice and I have been charged the full amount!

Mod Note: PayPal may appear to show that you have paid the full amount - however if you click on the transaction details it will show that 10% has been paid via voucher. Example from previous deal

        • @tyler.durden:

I just find it entertaining how you keep ranting on about evidence when you can't provide any evidence to back up your own claims. Pot, kettle, black? :)

        • @eug:

Whatever just get lost CR puppet.

I don't have any more interest in talking you CR puppet.

          Stop replying to my post.

Go and enjoy your measly 1.25% or $1.25 out of $100.
Maybe u can buy yourself a lollipop and suck on it.

        • @tyler.durden:

Why are you censoring me? Are we living in China with censorship? I have a right to make any comment I want.

        • OK ok Tyler, I apologise for all the back and forths I've posted here. I admit I was doing it just because it was a little entertaining.

I still think you're incorrect, but you're entitled to your own opinion. I just don't think you should be trying to force it down everyone's throats while telling everyone else they're wrong, while you keep asking for evidence when you yourself have zero evidence to support any of your claims… while constantly talking about a competitor whose reputation is still largely unknown.

Whew what a mouthful. Good night!

        • +1

          @eug:

          Not trying to force anything.

Just voicing my anger that the rate was dropped again, and now to a pathetic 1.25%.

When it drops to 1%, is there even any more point to doing this.
You get $1 out of $100, wow whoopee!

It's funny that some ppl like you aren't angry about that..
instead just saying well at least it is better than pricepal.

I don't give a shit what pricepal gives, I don't care what I am getting from CR.
And now it is measly $1.25 out $100.
when it gets so low, is there any point of doing cashback anymore.

And if u want to continue this argument going tomorrow then go for it.
But I vented my anger, so that is all for now.

          Later CR puppet.

        • @tyler.durden:

But I vented my anger, so that is all for now.

          I somehow doubt it. :)

        • @eug:

Maybe tomorrow if you keep this shit replies going then who knows..

Why u don't stop replying to me and call it a night.

        • @tyler.durden:
When you say you don't want to talk to me anymore, you're not meant to keep replying…

        • @eug:

Sure, if you tell CR to open up their email server
          and their financial records.

It's very simple for CR to backup their claims about losses.
          Show us the the evidence.

          But they don't.
What do they have to hide?
So it is just a load of bullshit.

        • @tyler.durden:

I think you're actually running shopandmint, which is why you keep advertising for them. That must also be why you keep trying to put down CR.

It's very simple for you to prove that you're not running shopandmint.
Open up your email server and show us your financial records.

          you are a CR Puppet!!

        • @tyler.durden:
No answer? What fantastic rate is pricepal giving for ebay?

CR's 1.25% is "shit", so pricepal must be giving a lot more for you to be promoting them while calling CR "shit".

        • @tyler.durden:

          that site wasn't started today..

Shopandmint is registered to an individual, and is not registered for GST. The domain was registered at the end of May 2015.

Their privacy policy is copied from PricePal. Look at points 5 and 9.

Can you guarantee that they will pay the full 2.5% to everyone during this period?

        • @eug:

No I don't know if they pay or not, since I have never used them..

I would use them too (just to test if they would pay), if they didn't have such a shitty $50 withdrawal limit (so I don't work for them, else I would not even say that).

The best you could do is to buy something cheap, and seeing if they pay up.
The only problem is it would take a while to build up the $50 limit.

          ==

If they don't pay then u/others can complain to eBay
and eBay will take them off as an affiliated partner.

They won't be able to put their affiliated ebay link anymore.

But so far their site is still up since May 2015.

          ===
Also I hear the same thing about ppl not get paid by CR.
So your argument don't hold water.

        • @tyler.durden:
          So:

          • You don't know if shopandmint works
          • You don't know if they will pay the 2.5%
          • Their $50 withdrawal limit is "shitty"

And yet you call CR "shitty" and keep promoting shopandmint?

      • Your comment is incorrect, price pal is the reason CR hasnt drop the rate to a shitty 1%.

        Not the other way around.

        CR is the big fish.

  • How long does it take for Cashreward money to be available?

Got some money sitting in there since 2 months ago, and still on pending.

    • Cashrewards FAQ

'Pending' is the term for the rewards earned from your shopping that have not yet been confirmed as available and payable. Your transaction has been tracked by the store and your rewards are 'pending' prior to final confirmation from the store. Final confirmation is usually received after the return period of the goods or services has passed and/or the transaction is verified by the stores.

If you have recently made an eligible purchase or transaction and can't see your rewards in your account don't worry . Rewards usually take around 2 days from date of purchase to be reported in your account as "Pending". Some stores however can take up to 30 days to report 'pending' transactions to your account.

Rewards will change from "Pending" to "Confirmed" and automatically become "Available Cashback" when the return period of the goods has passed and/or the transaction is verified by the stores.

The length of time from "Pending to Confirmed and Available " varies from merchant to merchant and can be anywhere from 7 days to 90 days. Some rewards however may take even longer to be confirmed. Travel rewards for example may not appear until after you have completed your travel.

      • Sorry. Should reword my question. have read the FAQ.

How long does it normally take for people to get the cashreward on ebay.

        • Ahh okay.

I have a 13th Nov 2015 cashback that I can claim, and I'm waiting on a 28th Dec 2015. Both eBay. So maybe 3 months for me? I very rarely check so I'm not sure of the exact amount of time.

    • Prepare to wait 6 months. Also I'm only using CR because I haven't got enough to withdraw. Once that's done I'm not gonna bother anymore

  • URGH…. knew this would happen. Bought something on usual price as no where "discounts"… suspected ebay would have a "sale" soon… just not sure when…

I'm trying to buy some stuff from the US and the coupon is not working for it.

    Thanks,

    • Are you going through ebay.com.au?

      • Yep! Works for everything else in my cart. Products in same category from China is OK, but not from US.

        • Having the same issue here!

Trying to order car parts from two US seller and it won't discount.

        • @greencomet:
same issue for me trying to buy motorcycle part from US through AU site - not valid

        • Crap. I had a heap of stuff lined up.

        • Probably has to be an item listed on .com.au in AUD rather than on .com in USD

Even though it shows on the .com.au site it's probably under the "We've found the following items from international sellers you might be interest in" section, which is probably excluded,

        • Seems strange, I've usually never had a problem ordering from international sellers during a sale like this.

        • @greencomet:

I've never had a problem either which is strange.

        • @Firey1989:
listed on au site in au dollars shipped from us (shipping in au dollars) - coupon not valid on item in cart

        • @Firey1989:

Just tried for other parts in the same category from China and Italy and they are all OK. Just not the US.

        • @CMichael:

This has seriously bummed me out, I was waiting for another sale before ordering the parts I was after. Stupid eBay getting me all excited only to step on my dreams…. lol

        • +3

          @greencomet:

Well you'll be happy to hear that it's an eBay technical fault and they are fixing it as we speak! :)

        • @CMichael:

Wish they would hurry up and get this fixed. :(

      • Thanks for that!

    • Just talked to CS. Apparently it's a technical issue and it will be up and running for US items soon.

      • still not working….

      • Any idea if they're going to do anything about it before this ends?

      • +1

I just talked to anothe CS rep, and they've given me another story.

Apparently 'eBay Motors' is excluded from the coupon. So not able to buy anything automotive listed in the US.

        • Thanks for the update - definitely still now working

  • Is there any reason why shopandmint's 2.5% cashback isn't in the OP post?

    • -1

Because OzBargain/TA is affiliated with CR

      • I have updated the OP to include shopandmint. Regarding to your comment, please note that:

        • TA is working at Cashrewards
        • OzBargain is not affiliated with Cashrewards (just a data provider)
        • OzBargain is not affiliated with tightarse (just a regular user)

We still have some reserve with shopandmint which is the reason we have not included them in our cashback list.

        • Just a user, maybe, but not just a regular user.

        • -2

          @Dalton:

          So True..

cash reward has a mouthpiece that is very popular on ozbargain and makes many popular deal posts
and therefore links CR in their posts

So there is a bias towards posting CR link on this site over other cash back sites due to that individual.

It was very clever of cashrewards to hired that mouthpiece.

        • @tyler.durden: So are you saying before "that mouthpiece" joined CR, CashRewards wasn't already the most popular cashback site here?

        • @eug:

No, but I am saying it is biased towards CR, since most of the posts that person makes is now affiliated with CR.

Therefore it get more advertising for them, even if their rate is crap now.

Just look at shopandmint still giving 2.5%.

Yet how many deals list shopandmint as as cashback option?

It was just a clever move by CR to buy the most popular mouthpiece on this site.

Also it was only popular because the rate was much higher.
Now the rate is the same as pricepal and worst than shopandmint.

        • @tyler.durden: I meant that the amount of work TA does for the OZB community makes him more than a regular user. I don't believe there is collusion between TA and OZB. TA needed a job and got one that was relevant to his interests, good for him. He'd already established himself as a person of high moral standing within our community, as had, in my opinion, the people who run this site.

Having said that, we're all here for the bargains, let them speak for themselves. It never hurts to do one's own research.

    • +1

I was just going to ask if shopandmint has cooties or something?

      https://www.shopandmint.com/au/

Gone down from 3.5% to 2.5%.

Well I am in with S&M anyway ;->

      • -3

Any hack to get cash back from all three sites?

        • As you know, the retailer approves the cashback on each transaction. So unfortunately we ain't got buckleys IMO.
However, wouldn't surprise me if 100 ozbargainers stopped and thought, I better not say, lol.

        • @Bargitrage:

It would be cool if someone found a hack for this to get cashback from all three.

But since u said that, it does look hard to get a hack on this.

  • +2

    Minimum spend $100….pass.
