    It's been a long time coming, but it's worth the saving from a $30 Optus plan to the $18 plan here

      Neither. Your billing month starts when your sim gets dispatched. So your billing period starts before you even get it. So I lost 3 days off my first month.

    They sent me the info for the $18 pennywise instead of the $25, but it was all good because I called up and they assured me that my sim is the $25 one. Porting took about 2 days as said. Just wanted to ask if anybody else getting low bars for 4g? Located 10 mins away from Melbourne CBD.

    • and i thought live connected was bad. jeenee has such a shit service. Took 21 days for my sim to arrive. 2 days for porting and FINALLY when I everything was complete, I got low bars for 3g…and I work in the CBD.
      During activation, did they ask to deduct another $18? :/

    I signed up on the 02 Jan paid and waited..and waited. its the 23rd and no sim posted to me yet. Called them on the 19th and @ 48mins wait time I gave up. Send them a message via contact form on the 19th Jan and no reply. This is beginning to feel like its Vaya service.

    Does anybody work at the Jeenee call center (HELLOO CALLING THE REP)

    I've called 3 times over the last 2 weeks. Been on hold up to 20 minutes each time and haven't spoken to anyone.

    2 weeks ago I submitted an email enquiry to get them to call me back and I haven't had a call back.

    This is the WORST customer service I've experienced in many years. JEENEE anybody home????

  • This is the worst service ever. The only thing they've done is deducting money from my account. I have not received anything since then. Please consider Jeenee if you are happy to wait for a month to receive your SIM.

    • I called up yesterday and they were happy to cancel my order and refund my money. Happy days!

  • I messaged them asking questions in a private message on Facebook. I mentioned that i was hesitant due to the long waiting time people are experiencing on ozbargain. They replied within the hour. For those of you waiting for a response.. maybe try with a private message?

    I asked if i could pick it up from Parramatta. They need a few days notice for that. They also said this "Yes that would be fine. You will need to place your order online then contact us to arrange a time. Regarding the activate vs despatch, the billing starts when its despatched not when its ordered, contrary to peoples complaints. We often provide credits for the time between despatch and activate if the service delivery was delayed due to Aus post etc"

    tried to call their call centre, 3 x 15min+ waits I give up. I going with another mob. it's not worth the trouble.

  • Damn, think I must've been lucky by ordering within a day or two of the deal as my service has been quite speedy in all departments. Although it was going to be a long hold time on the phone to sort out an issue with data limit, I sent them an online query and it seemed to have been rectified. I'm thinking perhaps they can't afford to employ enough staff to cope? It would be nice if the rep was here to answer everyone's questions though :(

    On 2nd Feb, contacted their call centre at 8:30am sharp, was on hold for 15 mins before speaking to their staff and fully activated on 2nd Feb within 3 hours.

    So far so good.

  • I would like to sign up for this but the expiry date has passed. Will you be offering this deal again or something similar sometime soon?

    • They no longer have the pennywise plans, but have the pennywise 2 plans. It seems the $25 plan is now valued at $28 for the exact same thing. Glad I got in before the price hike :-)

  • Couldn't get Pennywise $18 in time due to the poor contact / sim postage response times. If Jeenee and Vaya are crap, whose the next best around the $18?
