What's the matter? (4 pages of comments is TLTR)
HP cancelled the order after 1 week (took money, emailed confirmation and dispatch status) and now will refund money in 2-3 weeks. What is TLTR?
Too Long To Read
@Insidious: Thanks . Page 4 will give the picture of their mess.
@akd: I only learned this the other day too. Don't feel bad
The fact that anything has 1GB of ram these days is atrocious
Only way MS will bundle the free Office 365 subscription is if the manufacturer uses 1gb of ram in their Windows tablet.
Doesn't seem very future proof but good tablet for basic office tasks and media consumption!
Not true, there are tablets with 2gb and free office 365
Yup, has to do with screen size. 10" and under I believe.
Screen has to be under 9 inches to get the free Windows license with Office 365. RAM is irrelevant, but it has to have an Intel CPU.
Not so sure it has to be Intel - it just means it can't be Arm, but whether eg. an AMD part would fulfil the requirement I don't know.
@McFly: From what the manufacturers have told me it has to be Intel processors only, so definitely no ARM, MIPS etc.
Win 8 actually runs pretty well with 1GB if you don't multitask a lot (like any tablet really), run heavy programs, or browse many or large websites (i'm looking at you, infinite scroll). Play with one at JB and be amazed that it actually works. :)
All I can say is (profanity) hp (profanity) hp after the other days mess I will never buy anything hp again I hope u are reading this hp I would not give u the steam off my piss taking all of our hard earned money to give us nothing (profanity) u
HP is really scared.
Lmfao.
Worthwhile as a photo displayer? Says nothing about expandable storage
This is almost as cheap as the acer, and anyone know if the screen is better? The acer they had a couple of months ago sucked
Good deal, but I will not buy to oppose HP's latest mess. I do understand that it is sold by DSE.
