  • The thing with Dick Smith is that either it will jack up the price or cancel the transaction because it 'ran out of stock". Just to list the same thing for a lot more in 24hs.

Haven't tried the Good Guys on ebay yet but wouldn't be surprise if they did that too tbh…

    • Lol, the whole "Good Guys" name makes me laugh because we know what's gonna happen

    • Actually I found GG really good earlier this year.

Bought off their ebay store and they beat a price I found afterwards (when I picked up).

      • Just wondering if I bought something on TGG ebay store deliveried,Would they still price beat the 120% difference?
        Tks

        • Don't see why not. I was told they still price beat earlier this year.

  • can you use dick smith gift cards to pay for the DSE ebay store?

    • as with previous sales u have to use paypal to pay

      • thank you

    • +9

Buggered if I know, how much are they selling the DSE ebay store for?

      • +7

20% more than they're selling the store for now.

  • I am in the market for a "Canon 600D Twin Lens Kit (18-55 & 55-250mm) 600DTKIS" currently listed for $744 from The Good Guys on eBay. -20% and get another $100 back from Canon which brings it to $500.

    • +1

the 700D TLK will be down to $634.12 after 20% + $150 canon cashback + 2% cash rewards too

  • Apple products excluded?

  • +6

What's Masters Ebay Store ? Can not find it.

  • +3

Also, should be able to login via velocity store for double points if you're a member and felt so inclined.

  • +2

Based on the previous sale I'm hoping Appliances Online get on-board again. They seemed to be one of the few retailers that didn't play games with their prices before & after the sale started.

I purchased a gas heater from them. Had been watching it for weeks. Price remained the same once sale began. Got a bargain! :)

  • Check DSE's PS4 + 3 games bundle for $549 - 20% - 2% cash back = $430

    • Wonder if it will be out of stock next weekend or bumped up to $600? Dick has done it before and will do it again. Buyer beware.

      • Let's hope that's not the case.

    • +1

I don' think this bundle is available on their ebay store. They still list the PS4 Console alone at $548

    • PS4 + 3 games bundle $848.90. Up 55%. What a dick.

Does have an extra controller, don't know if original bundle has as well.

  • I'm in need of an ereader- Kindle or Kobo. But I can't find any on their ebay site…

  • +1

I'm after a musical keyboard, does anyone know if any of these retailers would have one? Something decent and not overly el-cheapo?

    • -1

Got a beringer ex610 or something for Billy hydes for 229$ price matching.

      EVERYONE READ THIS BELOW!!!

More importantly, everyone research your prices first! Some stores like "the dodgy guys" have already raised prices by 21% in which I presume not only do they cover their cost after taking off 20% they also get that %20 covered by eBay.

Fn dodgy prcks. the only way to beat retail is to understand prices and what something is worth. Do not ever rely on a store saying 20-50-70% off as an indication on what you're saving, as 99% of the time that is completely fabricated.

I understand most on here will understand this but even if it helps one person I think it is important to let everyone know.

    • There's an electric keyboard at JB hifi for $99 that lights up keys, helping beginners. But if you can already play, you'd know what to buy

  • +5

99th +… 2 hours and already a full page of comments… lol by the time the sale comes around there'll be at least 10 pages just on the topic of how prices were jacked up before the "sale"… sigh

  • …Mac will be excluded …for shizzles

  • I just purchased a $3100 TV from JB Hifi yesterday. :(

  • +7

We should create a combined list of products we want at their current prices so in 2 weeks time we can all check to see if they have been artificially increased.

    • +3

We shall name it "The List".

      • The Black List? Don't tell Tom then.

    • Nice one! Just post them here.

    • Goodguys prices on Samsung phones on ebay site as of 27/11/2014:

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sony-ILCE5000LB-ILCE-5000-Single-…

    • It would be nice if they listed the a6000.

  • Good just to double check prices with other retailers to see if its really 20% off or if they just jacked up prices.

  • +1

Here's hoping for Target to list the NEW 3DSXL and becoming <$200 from this. Will make a nice chrissy pressie for someone.
Not holding my breathe though :P

  • Do you guys reckon iPhone 6 or 6 Plus would be included in this sale to?

    • No chance. Most places don't even have any stock and the margin is so tight on them I can't see anyone giving away 20%

      • +1

Changa ebay pays the 20% not the retailer.

        • +2

I'm not sure that is a certainty with these deals that only involve a select group of retailers. There could be some sort of arrangement to split the costs.

  • +3

Good Guys - 20% off cameras and cashback from Canon and Nikon sounds good.

  • I'll be waiting to see if they raise the price for the Miele range, hoping to get the premium total care.

    • It's doubtful any of these stores sell miele on ebay

      • They are up on tgg ebay

    • I'm after a Miele as well but I'm at the other end of the price range - I'm hoping the S6 Pure Air will be included. Fingers and toes!

    • +2

At least one of the main players appears to playing fairly.

      Go the Good Guys!

    • good guys :) started to increase their prices…

      • They might change their prices frequently like DSE, regardless of sale or not.

  • Hoping for some cheap GoPros and accessories.

  • Calender set. Thanks op

  • +2

Hmmm.. Any Weber deals available from Masters??
    Or will they be excluded?

How do you get the discount? How does the discount work? How do you know for sure that you get the discount with the "Buy It Now" thingy?

    • +1

You will get a coupon code once the sale starts and will apply it in your cart

  • +2

Finding myself already shopping around for stuff I don't really need…

  • Buy early to avoid disappointment. 20% off for Good Guys is a very good deal.

  • Just noticed TGG website is down….site is under maintenance. Possible price adjustments?

For those in the hunt for Lego from TARGET, there's no need to wait for the 20% off as TARGET is already selling them for 20% off with free shipping for orders over $75. I just bought some multiple sets. Please note that for some strange reason, they expect you to buy and pay immediately; which if you wanted various sets to total over $75; you can't do it. So I just bought multiples of 3 for the Technics sets.

As a Lego collector/trader, the set with most bang for buck from Target are the only 2 Technics sets they have on for sale (over 20% off RRP), being:

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LEGO-Technic-Bulldozer-42028-New-…

    and

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LEGO-Technic-Hot-Rod-42022-Age-9-…

From my perspective, Lego is a good way to supplement your wages as most sets go up in value over time. I hope more of you realise this and jump onto the bandwagon. My 2 cents.

    • What if you did buy it now then waited to pay for it during the ebay sale ? can you do that ?

      • That's exactly what I was about to ask.
I don't know if prices are retroactive even on items you have already committed to buy.
Maybe I will try when there is 4-5 days left to go before sale starts.

    • +2

How can any used or old Lego thing go up in value? explain

      • -1

Maybe do a bit of research yourself. I am not here to spoon feed.

And I am referring to new Lego sets.

As for used ones, some sets do go up in value.

    • I bought several sets during the 20% off eBay sale the other week ( I used their cart option to add the items together and thus got the free shipping that way). The very day after the eBay sale Target dropped the prices even less on some items which was a bit annoying, who would think to wait for after the sale to get better prices? Anyhow.

    • That's very dank that is

  • given its major retailers.. would stores like Myer or DJs will price match? has anyone tried it before..

  • +1

I may have missed but where is the eBay link showing these dates and retailers? Cheers

  • Need to write a list of things I need….

  • +1

TGG prices already up on ebay - I've monitored goldline cooktop fpr about a year, and when in store it is still $749 that is regular price, on ebay it is already $895
unfortunatly, goldline is exclusive for tgg and i can't find any other cooktop for old cut 90x40 :(
anyway, this sale is just another marketing trick with just few things that may be really discounted

  • +2

Where is the offer listed? eBay Facebook?

  • +4

I remember 2 years ago a fellow ozbargainer writing a code that scanned all the prices of DS and listed them here on OZbargain and than scanned all the prices when the sale started. and listed the difference in increases in a table.
would be cool if he can do it again

  • This inverter air conditioner with 5 year warranty will be $560 with discount. Will have to put off buying for 10 days!!

  • Looking for an airfryer..any good recommendation?

  • Can you buy now and plug in the coupon on the 30th?

Also where is this offer on eBay or is this some sick prank lol

    • +1

I don't think any seller would allow someone to 'buy' something and not receive a payment for 10 days.

As for where this is from. Got no idea - don't even know if it's real :)

  • +2

I think everybody forgot that cashrewards has 2% cashback so its 22% savings

Hopefully Target lists some games in their eBay store.

  • Where is the link which states that Good Guys will offer 20% off on Nov 30?

    • +1

Good Guys have increased prices on DSLRs in their eBay store. Canon EOS 70D body is now $1388 (was $1147).

      • lol, they rasied it by 21%

        • Yeh what a croc!

I was watching that item too.

        • Might as well buy from digiDirect now. 70D with 18-55mm STM and 55-250mm IS lenses is $1199 after $300 cashback. Good price for local stock imo.

        • Georges price of $1193 after $300 cashback is better value as the 70D kit includes the 18-55mm IS STM and 55-250mm IS STM lenses.

      • Olympus OMD went from 699 to 799. In fairness on the good guys website they did say it would end on Friday

    • The offer will be posted on ebay, around Monday or Wednesday.
