  • This is gotta be the all time most +'d post in the history of ozbargain. Thanks for the great deal!

  • +1

    Thanks TA.
Straight after I entered my email address I heard a notification in my inbox. It couldn't be could it?
Nope, just the hourly DIck Smith email that I can't bring myself to unsubscribe in case in the off chance they actually have a "sale".

  • cheers

  • +2

Im on an ipad so it looked like 130 positives, and I was.. wait, what? Then I saw the 4 the digit. Well done Mr Arse :)

    • +3

Looks the same on PC. OzB needs a little recoding to handle 4 digit +'s.. :)

  • TA, you're the OZB king!

  • Thanks Good finding

  • +18

I see in the terms it's a $5 discount coupon, not a US$5 credit to your balance.

Also, little misleading on PayPal's part when the signup page says "$5 USD to use anywhere that accepts PayPal." then T&C's say "valid for a single purchase from select merchants who accept coupons from PayPal."

So, leaves me wondering how restrictive this is going to be.. haven't really paid attention to who accepts coupon codes.

Still, free is free, nothing to lose I guess.

    • +1

you are right, very restricted. And it expires September 30th, 2014.

    I am awaiting an e-mail.

Is anyone else in that boat?

  • nice one OP !!

  • Anyone know if this discount works with www.dx.com ?

  • is there a limit on how many paypal accounts u can have under the same address?

    • +2

I think the limiting factor is that one bank account/credit card can only be linked to one PayPal account

      • I have two paypal accounts both drawing from the same credit card

      • not true

  • Thanks Ta!

  • Go for the all time most upvoted deal TA woo!

  • Wish I could give this offer more +1's.

  • I chose Deezer but got nothing?? no 3 months for 49 cents nothing.

  • +1

Do the happy dance with this when you get an email from pp and it works.

  • The Deezer offer is instant, says you will see the offer right away when you pay with pay pal but I got $5.99 per month so that 0.45 cents did not work at all, maybe it is a USA only offer.

    • Why on earth would you want to pay to listen to music when you can get $5 for free?

  • Thanks TA. Bloody legend you are.

  • thanks OP

  • +2

Won't except my paylal email either because it has a - in it. hopeless.

    • Also does not accept mine as I used my Gmail email with a +paypal at the end of it.

    • my email has a -
      I had no problem whatsoever.

  • Free money! Thanks op.

  • Amazing work based OP.

  • Thx TA :)

  • +1

I had entered a diffent email account, once I get the voucher can it still be redeemed on my PayPal account?

  • thank you very much TA!

  • Sign up for a credit card with no annual fees as TA posted recently for a second PayPal account

  • -1

It says it is limited to one offer per account. But I got two offers added in my account. You should also try to do the same thing again to see whether you can get two or more offers added. Good luck.

    • !

  • +9

1650+ votes, nearly 20000 clicks and not one confirmation email, gotta have faith all

    • +1

Say what you will, despite all the hate it got, I got my Continental soup $10 Coles voucher last week. In Ozbargain I believe.

      • Totally forgot about the continental deal. Haven't received mine as yet

        • Fingers crossed, it's legit, they send it via express post.

  • +1

    Thanks….easiest $5 I ever earned!

    • +6

  • +1

Anyone CONFIRM that this voucher is just a code that can be entered into any PayPal account? As I'm guessing it might be generic code at the end.

    • +1

Why would you take that risk? It's just asking for an email anyway

  • thanks OP

  • Thanks heaps :)

  • Thumbs up on the 5er… and thumbs down on the 2 new spam emails I received today.

  • Thanks TA ;-)

  • Thanks TA! :-)

  • +2

Over 1800 positive votes on one deal?

I dont think I've ever seen a deal receive this much love…. nice one TA :).

    • Yes, this might be an OzBargain record. Currently about 23,5000 clicks, by midnight it might have reached 30.000?

      • +2

Still a way to go to beat the eBay 15% off deal for number of votes, but not sure about hits. This would have to come close I think.

  • Good for buying US PSN credits via eBay. Waiting for discount

  • -1

Did some loser enter my email? I got a red exclamation mark after entering my email for the first time :(

Good deal though, thank you for sharing TA!

    • Someone else did the hard work for you.

      Edit: It was slickdeals

      • +3

You say it with such surety zelda, but you're actually incorrect on both counts.
