  • I'm torn between the 8" 4G and 10" WiFi Samsung Galaxy 3 Tablets.

    • I'm currently deciding whether I need a Note 10.1 2014. Great price at $430 odd.

      • Go for it. Note 10.1 is one of the sharpest screens of any tablet around, plus it has the best stylus and multitasking abilities which you can't find from any other tablets. $430 is a steal imo.

  • Damn: "We're sorry. Your PayPal account is registered in a country that isn't eligible for this discount."
Too many conditions for discount to work.

    • This is an Australian promotion.. are you outside Australia ?
If you have an overseas PayPal account just start a new one via PayPal.com.au - easy.

  • Thanks got a dyson DC54 from the good guys.. With $133 off. Cheers!

  • +1

just picked up 2x seagate 3tb 109 each.
Thought it was pretty good waht does everyone else thinK?

    • Bought one, 109 for 3tb is very good deal.

      • link?

  • what about getting a GST invoice for claiming at TRS at airport?

Inovice via paypayl doesnt show GST…..how do you get one if buying stuff via this from DSE or Kogan and paying via paypal?

    • you will get email from DSE
there is no GST when you buy from Kogen

      • +1

cool thanks, just figured out Kong stuff is grey import.

        • +17

LOL @ 2 consecutive misspellings of Kogan.

  • Purchased through TGG and Roxy at the same time. TGG payment still shows pending (hourglass) on eBay. Any thoughts?

  • Nice.. picked up a Razer Cacharias headset for $52, Logitech G105 keyboard for $35, Logitech G400s mouse for $28.

Great pricing. Now looking at that cheap Dell desktop to replace parents' old multimedia machine..

  • +2

TGG allowed me to pick up my oven and refund me the postage :)

    • Who did you contact. I got told no.

      • Just talked to the lady in the ovens section, she said yep no worries!

        • Thanks, just ordered an Omega oven to match the Omega cooktop I bought last Sunday via eBay 15% off.

The Omega cooktop is made in Italy, but unsure if the same brand oven is also made there.
Either way, both look good for the price paid. Cheap way to update the 15 year old kitchen - and 2 year warranty on both.

My local TGG is a few mins drive away - will go in and try collect and have the $30 shipping credited.

        • How do you find out which store your purchase at TGG was allocated to?

        • You'll get an email shortly

        • TGG Belconnen said they couldn't refund me delivery cost on Ebay purchases due to different computering systems. Oh well.

        • I was refunded cash Cool.

        • The manager at my local said since it was paid through their eBay store he would have contact them to get the refund processed back through the store.

I asked if he could give me a gift card instead - and he said sure no worries thats easy, and gave me a $30 gift card.

Not as good as cash, but under the circumstances I was quite happy with that - especially after saving $125.

Just bought Dyson DC35…$310 include delivery is really a great deal!

  • +8

I'm giving this a plus, even though I haven't bought anything. iPhones for $400 and iPad for $200 a bargain in my book. I don't think this deals deserves any negs, only because you couldn't score the bargain you wanted doesn't make it not a good bargain overall.

    • iPhones for $400 and iPad for $200 a bargain in my book.

It was, but KOGAN HK P/L removed all those listings. And the iPad Air and the iPhone 5S.

      • It still active, the $400 iPhone and $200 iPads deals.

        • +1

          I just purchased the ipad

        • +1
        • Btw the 5s deal is still available too

          Thank you.

          That link still works.

Kogan HK have removed the listing from their eBay store (along with the others - iP5c and iPad Mini old model). I guess they have a contractual commitment with eBay, so that is why the Sunday Deal links still work?

        • I just purchased the ipad

Thanks, but I was looking to get an iP5S for my wife.

        • I can't seem to find the ipad.. link?

        • +1

I can't seem to find the ipad.. link?

          The $200 iPad Mini?

          Get it via this link.

          http://groupbuy.ebay.com.au/

          EDIT:
Click through to the KOGAN HK iPad Mini at $250 Group Buy Deal from the above link, AND then don't forget to add the CBIGTREAT code in the Redemption Code box when going to the payment stage. The will reduce the PayPal payment price to $200.

        • +1

Thanks! There doesnt seem to be a add to cart option, will I be able to purchase other items with this?

        • +1

There doesnt seem to be a add to cart option, will I be able to purchase other items with this?

Correct, there is no add to cart option. Just buy and pay via PayPal to get the 20% off by using the code.

The code may be used 5 times. So go get another of the Group Buy Deals from Kogan OR buy from any of the big retailers in the Sunday deal and use the code in those transactions (the add to cart will work on the normal eBay listings).

  • Do the good guys in ebay have pick up from store option? This product with below link does not seem to have the pick up option? or am i missing anything?

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GVA-GVARH350-2200W-Radiant-Floor-…

    • +2

No, you just call them up after it's been allocated a store and ask if you can pick it up instead.

      • So what happens to $30 shipping charged?

        • +2

They refunded this at the store when I picked up my last order.

        • Yep this happened when they had their big 30% off sale.

        • Thnks! I will try

        • Won't always work, as it might not be the local store allocating the goods, and they have to be shipped. Just beware.

        • ^^ this is true. they will allocate to a store nearest you with stock.

i previously had an order allocated to a store 10 minutes away, but my second order went to a store much further so i only managed to pick up from the first store.

check their website for stock status. if your local has it, chances are it will be allocated there.

  • So with the two headphones I just bought then (damn impulse buy), this brings my total spending money thanks to OzBargain to over $1100 :( But can't complain, cause the savings were good :)

Tasmanian? (Apologies to all the Taswegians -you've heard it all before.)

I'm not finding any discounts. $88 shipping for a $100 rice cooker.

Good luck to everyone else. I believe there are some items that are worthwhile.

Before you purchase, look at some reviews of the item you are purchasing.

    Dell Inspiron 15

    4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-4510U
15.6 inch LED Backlit Display with Truelife and HD resolution (1366 x 768)
    8GB Single Channel DDR3L
    NVIDIA® GeForce® 840M 2GB DDR3L
    Starting at 5.3lbs (2.4 Kg)

    …Just for $679.2

I know that Dell raised the price by $50 before the deal started, but still it's the best gaming laptop I've ever seen for a long period of time.

    • +3

      dat resolution doe

      • IMO the resolution is good for a cheap laptop, it's not like a sub 1k laptop can do games well at 1080p anyway

        • For $239.80 more though, I would get the 5000 series.

    • Gaming on a ddr3 840 mobile card…right….

      • IMO, if you aren't going to game on it, should go for the built in HD4000 card. Uses less energy and saves you some money.

Bought Kogan ipad air 32gb space grey, free shipping $500 with deal(silver has $33.90 shipping). Kogan warranty 1 year.
Cheaper than recent dick smith deal + save60(expired) coupon and 1 year apple standard warranty in comparison.

    • -1

Bought Kogan ipad air 32gb space grey, free shipping $500 with deal(silver has $33.90 shipping). Kogan warranty 1 year.

If it had the 4G cellular even I would have purchased one. Same with the old iPad mini they had.

I guess Kogan are staying away from the cellular model iPads due to lack of Apple warranty support in Australia?

    • Ipad has global warranty in apple store.

      • -1

Ipad has global warranty in apple store.

Allow me to fix that for you…

iPad WiFi models have a global warranty.

The iPads that also have cellular, do not have a global warranty.

        • Incorrect. All Apple products have a global warranty, with the caveat that Apple may choose to restrict service to the country it was purchased from. This is usually because the model isn't quite the same (eg. UK iPhone 5Ses can't connect to Australian 4G networks).

But the most recent iPads are in fact identical everywhere but mainland China.

          http://www.apple.com/au/legal/statutory-warranty/

        • -1

          Incorrect.

          No, not incorrect.

All Apple products have a global warranty, with the caveat that Apple may choose to restrict service to the country it was purchased from.

From which it was purchased. Yes, and they (Apple Australia) do this in the case of HK/China/Macau market iPhones, and HK/China/Macau market iPads with cellular connectivity.

This is usually because the model isn't quite the same (eg. UK iPhone 5Ses can't connect to Australian 4G networks).
But the most recent iPads are in fact identical everywhere but mainland China.

The HK/China/Market iPhone 5c and 5s are also the same as the Australian Market ones. Yet, Apple Australia still will not offer warranty support nor 'out-of-warranty' support. Same goes for the iPads with cellular support.

          http://www.apple.com/au/legal/statutory-warranty/

The link you provided is for Apple products purchased in Australia. Not for private imports from Hong Kong (such as the eBay iPhone 5s and 5c items being sold by KOGAN HK P/L). Of course, other Apple products such as non cellular iPads, MacBooks, etc. will receive Apple Australia warranty support - but only for 12 months, and there will not be any 'out-of-warranty' support.

  • +6

    Damn you ozbargain.

Last week $300 gone on Sheridan products.
This week $1000 gone on home appliances in under 5 minutes.

FYI this is what I picked up from Appliances online (already over $100 cheaper than Goodguys on this model and with Free shipping).

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=271488…

I nearly got the lower model (below), again the lowest price available on this 20% deal:

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/7-5kg-Front-Load-Fisher-Paykel-Wa…

On balance I figured that the extra $95 net spent on the higher model for some of the 'nice to have but not essential' features was worth spending (for me) given the level of discounting.

  • Ordered at 10am this morning from the GG. Still no email from them about my order being allocated. I'm in Sydney. Anybody else in the same boat?

    • same

    • It means they are short of stock of places around you and need to wait till a store orders one in.

    • Same Same. Nothing since original email confirmation. Item location is Melbourne even though main GG website says local stores have stock.

      • Just called their 1300 number and was told that they might not have received the order yet from ebay. That doesn't make sense to me.

    • recently got a dishwasher from TGG Artamon… Sir it will be in around 5-8 days… 2 weeks later oh earliest is next Tuesday … never buying from them again.. gonna stick with Appliances online… they were brilliant

Meanwhile .. wife is on vacation school holidays are starting and my dishwasher is broken!… damn first world country problems!!!!

  • I tried to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 this morning from Dick Smith but kept having an error coming up. Finally cracked it and went to my local JB Hifi and they price matched it for $214 :)

    • Good stuff. I called Officeworks but they don't match coupon discounts.

  • -1

I had made note of this monitor on DSE ebay prior to the Sunday sale:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-27-Series-5-D590-Monitor-…

It was $380 at the time. With a 20% off discount would have gone for $304.
Sunday rolls up and now the price is $449, representing a $69 overnight price increase.

Quite pathetic on DSE's part seeing as it is eBay who is footing the discount and not them.

    • Nice pickup but is that a necessary neg on this deal? TGG and Appliances Online both seem to have not done this.

      • This example has soured my experience and makes me wonder who else has done this and whether price increases were across the board. Seems like people are being duped into thinking they are getting a good deal when that may be contrary to the case as regular prices may have been inflated to absorb some of the discount that eBay is supposedly giving to us.
