So once your fully expired or for me on the 30th, I should be able to sign up for a deal if they are still around.

You would have had to cancel (not renew) then wait to get targeted. Would need to have marketing communication on too.
If your membership is close to expiring, go to cancel it and it may offer you a $30 eBay voucher, I just got it this morning and will be using the voucher after renewal (1mth expiry). $20 if you deduct the voucher isn't bad for a year

@SickDmith: Has now expired - no offers available in the app, so if you really need eBay plus then might be worth taking up their $30 voucher. I'll likely wait for another $10pa deal before rejoining.
My ebay plus subscription expired on 1 Nov. I cancelled despite being offered the $30 voucher during cancellation. So far I have not received or been able to use any $10 offer.
That's the usual retention offer. Mine renews about a week after you, I still cancelled.
$5, maaaybe $10 is the most I'd pay. Doesn't really offer me much, especially in WA where stuff like express delivery upgrades don't apply.
Be mindful that the$30 is an ebay voucher that has an expiry date and can most likely only be applied to ebay plus items only, and cannot be used in conjunction with other codes. Also, it's single use only, so if you only spend that voucher in a $20 item, the rest will be lost

Mine's up for renewal, got the same offer. I'm going to cancel and wait to be targeted again. Plus is good but I only use eBay every now & then. If you really want to buy something with Plus benefits ie free return just sign up to the free trial with a new email account.

when cancelling isn't it saying you will only receive the $30 after you renew?

They offer you $30 to stay so it costs you $20. Not too bad but I declined that, fk em, it's pretty rubbish these days, not even any fee free sales (maybe a couple per year).

I cancelled my eBay plus renews today 14th nov, they offered my $30 retention offer, but I still cancelled. I hope I can get this $10 offer as that is way better.
I did the same.. although I was a bit late so I got a $49 refund….. I have hardly been using eBay all year and now i wanna buy some stuff and the extra 2% would pretty much pay for a $10 ebay plus membership!

Used to be a big eBay person but these days Amazon prime has totally spoiled me with their next day delivery for most items.

Same for me. I don’t see the value in eBay Plus. I have it and I literally haven’t even used it once in the past year. I’m going to let mine expire in December. Compared to Amazon Prime, eBay Plus is crap. They need to make it much better if they want to keep customers. Even for $10 I would not pay for it again.
Amazon is fantastic. To be fair my ebay plus items use to turn up next day most of the time too (surprisingly fast), depends where you live.
Just annoying and not really worth it these days with worse promos. $5 off spend $15 was handy and worth using, that's gone to $25, the $50 buy per month for the other one couldn't care about. Bloody tight arses for not giving one fee-free sale per month, seems like you're lucky to get one per 3 months if that.
I'd still get if for $10 though, there are yearly general vouchers like 22% off that make some items the cheapest you'll find, and not everything is on Amazon.

For me the items I have purchased on ebay on the free membership has been cheaper by a few dollars or cents depending on the price. With free shipping too.

Always cross shop with amazon, but ebay is always a few dollars or cent cheaper with free shipping.
I always get stuff like screen protectors, phone cases, car parts and other random electronics.

OMG, I was targeted.
So I'm in WA and I can't see how this is worth it at even $10. Free express delivery is not available to Perth. Most of my ebay type purchases are now aliexpress and they tend to deliver faster than ebay - ebay comes from over east by truck where aliexpress comes direct from overseas to Perth. Aliexpress is cheaper for most things. Flummoxed!

Mine was due for renewal I canceled and refused the $30 to stay been non member for a few weeks now and no offers of $10 for year it was mentioned that sign up for notification by email with these offers how do I know it’s on or what do I do as will join if $10 again
Under the eBay plus section on my account it offers a free trial but ain’t that got new customers then charged at full rate each month.
I best ignore that.

Think I didn't get the $30 voucher (some still got it after cancelling) but did sign up again for $9.99.

btw, worth changing your settings to receive marking emails, get a free $10 voucher (but also lot of useless emails).
