I am 10.1km from a store does it still count?

Please don't misuse this offer for fun as you do want them to keep coming with it.

I can't think of many genuine uses of this offer. How many things do you NEED from Officeworks, especially stuff that you can't go and pick up later given you live less than 10 Km from the store to begin with?

last time this promo came about i ran out of paper for my printer… it was nice to get this delivered within an hour.

            • @kiriakoz: keep trying bro

@meong: it's not that deep, i still don't see the reason for it.

@kiriakoz: hello how are you im under the water

@kiriakoz: Mate you really need to take your happy pills.

@paulos1952: What's the thinking that I'm unhappy. I'm asking why people would need this and needing emergency printer paper isn't really a mainstream issue in 2024 for most people.

@kiriakoz: Mate, I get you. But culturally, Australia loves 'em deliveries.

  • This is still via Uber, yeah?

    No Uber in regional :'(

Dunno why this is down voted haha
It is quite annoying living regional and they’ll offer this, but the “delivery partner” will consistently refuse/no drivers will deliver it.

Accidentally chose the “delivery partner” with woolies once and the order never showed and they essentially said they won’t ever deliver it, even though the service is offered.

On the upside, you don't have to live in a capital city. Delivery can almost become a necessity for some people who need a specific item but not enough to spend the afternoon going on a mission through school pickup and tradie traffic to get it before COB. I sympathise that Woolies not honouring their offer due to a lack of delivery drivers is weak though, and possibly something for the ACCC to warn them about, so they'll fix it. I dunno.

My one dollar order will be here before I leave for work

I'd laugh if no delivery attempt is made and you get carded instead lol

      • doordash came

Is it possible to Price Beat an item with this offer?

  • +1

Officeworks changed our free delivery (Business account, when spending $100 or more) to $26 delivery. Lost a customer there. Click n collect doesn't really work as they never have all items in store at the same time

    • +2

They changed ours over time too, I think it used to be $6.95 flat rate for regional and last time it was around $15, if yours is $26 now ours probably went up again too.

These offers make me angry because the nearest store is like 40km away, but you can also get there in 30 minutes, though I've spent well over an hour trying to get 10km in metro areas. They give this out for free but keep charging us more.. that's if they even deliver to you these days like bloody Amazon

    These offers make me angry

    Username checks out lol

  • dam wanted to order Logitech G PowerPlay Wireless but click and collect is on Monday. Can't get it delivered on Monday too. Strange.

  • Unless you're a onepass member. Your cart is never eligible for 2 hour delivery. Exact same item. Logged in and not eligible. Guest checkout available

    • I bought some smart plugs with my OnePass account and got the 2 hour delivery just fine. Maybe your account is set to a different delivery location in settings or something?

      • Nope. Exact same address. Just one is not logged in and its eligible. The logged in is always greyed out saying my cart is ineligible.

        • Oh thank you legend! Yep this is the case for me too, guest worked fine.

      'Unless you're a onepass member'

do you need to have a onep ass to become a member ?

  • They may have disabled this offer. Ordered 2 items, both cancelled. Probably was going to be a loss maker for Officeworks

  • Says not eligible but my local officeworks is 5km away…

    • Are you a onepass member?

      • No, do I have to be one?

        • +1

No. But my asking is because when logged in with a active one pass im not eligible. But guest checkout and I'm eligible

          • @Jake17: Then why the neg? OP didn't mention OnePass originally.
