Few reasonable game deals at this HN if you want to rummage through the bargain bins. I know this is an old game but its not bad for 5 bones. I think there were about 5 copies or so.
I know that this phone is no longer bleeding edge, however the price has come down another $120-odd, so its certainly more attractive in terms of price.

I noticed on the weekend that Kmart is selling a bitching mortar and pestle for $12. Its 19.5cm across, so is plenty wide, and is made of polished granite.
The Indian shop in the mcwhirters mall in fortitude valley has a pretty good deal on veggie MREs. Woolies and Coles sell similar veggie MRE bags for $3 or $4. So $1 is not a bad buy.
Medion/aldi are launching another laptop on 18 August. For $569 its not such a bad deal, you also get to upgrade to Windows 8 for $14.99. Only integrated graphics I am afraid.
