TYV10 is a $10 off coupon for "sharing" (cheers zelda707!)

Trawling the interwebs looking for a good phone I could use on TPG (ie 900/2100 3g to use the Optus network) for around the $200.00 mark. This was the only thing I could find that was compelling. Has anyone ordered from the vendor before?

BTW, the default shipping option comes with a tracking number.

    Are you sure?

    Windows 8 phones will be announced on October 29th. This phone is Windows 7 and will not be upgraded to Windows 8.

    So it is only amazing if:
    * Don't mind running Windows 7
    * Won't miss the wider variety of apps available for iOS and Android and Windows 8
    * Won't be disappointed when the price falls further in the next month

      There are plenty of people saying that they can only go 10 hours without a charge. That might be a deal breaker for me.

      Face palm. Why do people always go on about, "It won't upgrade to Windows Phone 8"? It's under $200 and none of the Windows Phone 8 handsets will be even close to that price point at launch. Not to mention there is still the 7.8 update coming to all WP7 devices. I'll bet the 100,000+ apps currently on WP7 will keep a user busy until WP8 hardware actually reaches <$200 handsets.

        The issue is quality of the apps and developers will move onto supporting WP8.
