              @jpeg-jpg: The fee charged is "up to $550". If you check out that other JB thread you will see that most people were able to get an actual cancellation fee of about $527 if they cancelled on the first day.

              A lot of people were also able to get the first month $79 waived, which brings the total cost of the phone down to $527 + $10 or so for a SIM/phone number to port in.

  According to the CIS, the "Maximum Voucher Repayment Fee" on the $59 plan is "N/A" (as opposed to $550 on the $79 plan and $800 on the $99 plan). Does that mean if we cancel the $59 plan (or don't continue it in the 2nd month) then there is no other payment?

    yes its a month to month plan, no lock in contract, so you dont have to pay if you don't continue the plan, i think minimum term is 1 month though
