Wouldn't recommend the S22 Ultra. It's the weakest of the Samsung flagships of the last few years, and you could pre-order the S25 Ultra for around that price.

Spending almost $1k on a 3yo Android phone would be pretty stupid really…

      • +10

Try telling that to Apple fans 😂

That's why I mentioned Android, especially considering the resale value would be lower than an iphone from the same era. iPhone 14 PM is sold for around $1k used 😱

How exactly can I get the s25u for around that price?

      • +1

Check the pre order post. I paid 868

Yeah but how did you end up paying $868 for S25 Ultra 256? What was your price break down?

          • @boomramada: $2149- 20% - Your $100 Galaxy eVoucher+ has been applied!; Voucher applied! $200 eVoucher discount.; Voucher applied! $400 Trade-In bonus.; $150 Trade-In bonus applied

            • @abs898: Is it a trade in of any phone or an s24 ultra? Because that makes a big difference, you wouldn't be looking at this if you already owned a phone better than it.

              • @XeKayeM: Trading in a $1 device.

I am upgrading from s24u but not trading that in

  • Nice to see the Razr drop down in price. I got gift cards for JB hifi burning a hole in my pocket.

    • I'll take 'em….

  • Thank you OP

Can you just drop the $30/28-day and keep the phone ? i.e. no further pay-out cost?
    eyeing on the Razr50 :/

    • +1

That is correct, no further pay-out cost

Get it 52c cheaper at optus:
    https://www.optus.com.au/mobile/phones/motorola/razr-50

    (no plan needed)

  • Even though I love the form factor and the phone while I had it, I cannot recommend the Razr after using it for less than 2 months and it developing the dreaded green line. This is after babying it as well.

Also complete and total lack of local support from Motorola is a big no for a flip phone. Just a heads up if you were interested.
