looks like the best price for AU stock

    • -6

http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/80099 $569 for white from unique mobiles
      Samsung Galaxy S3 32GB Blue $529 + $18 shipping http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/80080

so not the cheapest price weve seen

those deals were a month ago pre 4g and iphone 5
so why is it more expensive now

      • $529 was for their blue S3 import stock. Unique Mobiles' Aussie stock was $559 + $18 shipping whick is more than Mobileciti.

        • -1

          second line:

'19/9 UPDATE - AU STOCK (Optus) SOLD OUT
          We Have Limited AU Stock"

it was sold out, but it was available and at that price

the white is still cheaper either way

All im saying is, it was around this price a month ago, it should be much lower now

        • yes neg me
go pay more if you want

No body has disputed my post above where unique mobiles was offering A-tick stock for cheaper.
BEFORE iphone 5 or 4g gs3 was released.

After a month and after these have been released, we havent seen the price drop that should be happening. Stop trying to milk us before everyone starts dropping their price

those who are negging me can feel free to line their pockets, but you should be encouraging more competitive pricing, not price gouging

        • we all know they are coming from the same factory this and that. But mobile phones and SLR camera bodies are very unique products. A lot of manufacturers do not offer warranty outside the country where the products is sold. So local warranty do weight a tiny bit at these cases.

that being said, I would still import phones but only when I am happy to deal with warranty from other countries.postage and warranty claim would make up the difference already normally. especially now you cant really post mobile phones via air unless you really going to lie to the post office lady:P

      • unique mobiles' stock is not local stock~

        • -2

they do have some aussie stock, do you think mobi citi doesnt grey import either? Have you even been to their shop? its a trademark HK grey market shop
They even started giveaways on engadget this week to promote their UK store. All grey market

        • actually mobiciti only sell aussie stock

At Mobileciti we only sell “A-tick” products with the manufacturer’s warranty. We provide tax invoices for all purchases. In addition to sales guarantees, we aim to provide the finest and most professional customer service to every single one of our customers.
          http://www.mobileciti.com.au/about-us/

Mobicity on the other hand sell grey imports…

      • +3

        • thanks!

        • Hi yaditya

          Thanks!

        • Done. Thanks a a a++++ :)

        • I also bought a Galaxy S3 tonight… How long do you think shipping to Melbourne would take?

        • Hi All

We have been very busy in last two days, all our staff are working on extra hour to get all order out.

Your order should be dispatch within 1~2 working day after the payment confirmed.

        • +1

For everyone's reference. I ordered the S3 and less than 48 hrs, got it in my hands (in melb). It was express post as well (which was surprising). Many thanks mobileciti.
Now, why didn't anyone tell me this phone only accepts micro SIM hahah :)

        • So easy to cut up a regular sim with scissors. I'm a complete noob and cut it out using a microsim as a template and it worked fine.

        • It's BS apparently!! I order on 9/10 and I have NOT received the phone!! Has anyone received their order?? Too much talk!

        • Hey @yaditya, sorry to hear that. I have indeed received it less than 48 hrs after I ordered it. Their express post would have included a tracking id, so very easy to track the status of the item. I'd be very surprised if there is no tracking id, or they haven't posted it yet.

  • +3

Second cheapest price I've ever seen for the 120GB PS3 Slim. The only other place to beat it was when JB HI-Fi sold those Tekken 120GB bundles ages back for $200. This model is definitely better than the Super Super Slim, in my opinion.

  • arrgh, I want to buy after 23 since I'll be travelling in a month time.
Rep, would you be able to put one aside for me please??

    • Hi st33p

You have to pay or pickup before deal expired or sold out.

  • +2

    Great price.

Btw - coupon code: OBZ30DEAL or OZB30DEAL - the coupon code in the post looks kinda like a typo?

    • +10

This is Obzargain. Seems fine to me.

    • "OBZ30DEAL" is valid coupon code.

  • Dumb question, but when you say AU stock, it means these items comes with Aussie power cables/chargers right? It's not going to be HK cables/charges with Aussie adapters.

    • +3

Yes, Au Stock means Aussie power cable/charge and local warranty, all spec compliance with Australian A-tick standard.

  • Is the PSP a good deal? should I get a vita instead?

    • This, can someone answer this question. Buying it as a surprise gift for a 12 year old, what would they prefer ?

      • +5

        Vita…

      • +2

I reckon they'd easily prefer a Vita, the PSP is pretty much dead and gone now.

    • +2

It is a good deal on a PSP, particularly because this is a 3002 model, not the toned down E1000 model. However, you're really taking a step back by buying a PSP at this point since they're no longer making games for it. My EBGames no longer carries PSP games and the one's that do have limited selection.

With the Vita, games will be supported well into the future, and it is backwards compatible with (most) digital PSP games. Sony are doing a bundle at the moment with a 4GB memory card and LittleBigPlanet (@aurotaro: perfect game for a 12 year old girl) for around $299 which is about as good as it gets until an official price drop sometime next year. Just be warned, if you want a bigger memory card they're a little pricey right now.

      • +2

        Agreed with Hasquarl.

$139.01 including free shipping for PSP 3002 model is a damn good price. I don't think stores like EB Games, JB Hi-Fi, Dicksmith, etc are selling this model anymore unless you want to spend more on ebay. Nowadays, you can only find the E1000 model which is a toned down version. Remember that PS Vita is not backward compatible with PSP UMD, you can only purchase PSP games digitally.

As for PS Vita, you have to look at the library of games before getting one. Get it if there are games that you want to play. However if you can wait till next year, then it's better to wait because Sony is planning to reduce the price of PS Vita (Though I am afraid the new one might not be as good as the original PS Vita because Sony is trying to reduce the price).

  • Can I pick up in Brisbane? Where?

    • Sorry, pickup only available Sydney/Parramatta only

  • +1

DJs had the PSPs for 79..hmm..wonder if you guys will do it??

    • Same question, would definitely buy one if price match. :)

      • Don't even need a pricematch, I'll take couple if its in the sub-$100 range

        • i have a mint condition unused brad new pebble blue psp 2000
          interested?

        • sounds promising, how much you want for it?

  • Why is the Galaxy S3 32GB White more expensive than the Galaxy S3 32GB Blue? Also, wrong link for the Galaxy S3 32GB Blue.

    • We got better deal on Blue.

      Link has been fixed. thanks!

  • Wait a minute, CECH-2002A? These are the PS3s from before the pricedrop in 2011? Aka the ultra rare hackable ones?

  • should i buy this ps3 or wait till christmas?

Is it also express shipping for the ps3?

  • tempted to get the psp to replace my dying psp1000, any comments on the price? Should I get the Vita instead?

  • So just to confirm the PS3 is the CECH-2002A model, not the later CECH-2102A model?

    • +6

      its CECH-2002A

      • +1

SOLD! Buying one right now, please send it quickly :)

        • Can you please tell me what is special about this model (I have one).

        • Easier to hack for homebrew / piracy

        • Thanks for your Order, We will dispatch within 1 ~ 2 working when payment is confirmed.

        • homebrew / backup

        • +1

does it matter what version of OS you are currently on (eg. latest)

        • can this model be easily downgraded then hacked no matter what fiirmware or something?

      • I bought one as well, pls make sure send me the CECH-2002A model, thank you.

  • Is there a pay and pick up option? im on the register check out page and its forcing me to pay shipping and no pick up is avaliable?

    • You don't need to order on our website if you want to pick up. Just come to our parramatta store and pay in the shop. Please mention ozbargain deal before you pay. thanks

  • Is the Nokia 710 full white version or the white & black cover version?

  • +1

Thanks OP!!… As "promised" from the last deal.. just ordered the S3. Can you try to send it a.s.a.p as I'm leaving the country in 7 days time. <fingers' crossed> Many thanks in advance

edit: Please send through the tax invoice as well :)

  • Can anyone post a receipt if they run out of stock for price matching?

  • +1

I wouldn't wait on this PS3 deal, I'd have snapped it up immediately if I didn't already buy a 160GB Slim from Big W back in the sales in June. These Slim models are much better looking than the new redesign. Plus they're from the CECH-2002A batch.

  • -4

    hook up the <$200 price for the PS3 :) :) :)

  • any chance I can reserve a PS3 and pick up tommorow morning?

    • +2

You have to call 0298938886 now to reserve one for pickup tomorrow.

      • +1

Thanks, I was just on the phone with a kind lady :)

  • +2

The PSP Slim is a bit pricey especially since the only good PSP games are getting/are remastered for the PS3 e.g. Kingdom Hearts BBS and Metal Gear Solid.

However, the PS3 Slim is a great deal! :)

  • Man, code now gives you free shipping as well… my wallet hates you.

  • Just bought my third ps3 in the last few months:)

  • god damn impulse buy, 3rd ps3 this year. just hope its CECH-2002A model as quoted

  • Got one :)
So does anyone have any information on running homebrew on this beast :)
and if I can put latest games (that require latest firmware) and then still run homebrew.
Last time I investigate I think that games over the 3.55cfw would overwrite the firmware and then it's no longer modable. :o

  • Just bought a PS3, thanks

  • Does the 'Optus' model mean anything much on the s3? I'm drawn to this over Kogan's deal with the 24month local warranty, but being unlocked I'm not sure what the difference is being Optus branded?

    • Optus Branded has optus logo on startup screen, and 2 years warranty with Samsung Australia.

      • Thanks! Sold!

      • Is Samsung's warranty generally international?

        • same question, can I have it repaired by Samsung outside Australia?

        • No, this warranty only for Australia wide.

  • PS3's finished! does anyone think there will be any better deals in the coming months on this ps3 type, don't like the new one's disk insert system (slide door)

  • Luckily i managed to get on on hold for pickup tomorrow. The guy sounded a bit iffy. I gave him my name and number, It better be there tomorrow!

    • +1

      Hi Assassin151

      You will be ok.

  • Just missed it! :(
Will there be any more PS3s in future or is this it?

  • If I order a SG3 right now via the Free Shipping method how long does it take to be delivered?

I am in Sydney and need a new phone quite urgently however I may not have time to pick up during the day to Parramatta!

  • -5
    • +2

totally different PSP, no wifi and bad quality speakers( monoaural instead of stereo like this one)
It is also bigger and has no TV out. IMO a disabled PSP( you can't even use this as a game controller for your PS3).

  • +5

Just purchased a Galaxy S3… Been wanting a new Android phone for a few months now. Thanks! :)

  • would i be able to claim the GST back through TRS?

  • Trying to decide between the Blue and White Galaxy S3's :/

    • If you're planning on buying a phone cover, the color doesn't really matter.
I prefer the white one as is, but like I said, with a phone cover, it doesn't really matter.

That's just my two cents, if you think it's worth the extra $20 then why not?

  • Can I ask how to fix phone when it is broken?

    • +1

      No you can't.

    • What and how exactly is it 'broken'?
If you're asking about the Galaxy S3… if it's a shattered screen you're looking at ~$280 to fix it at repair store (at your cost).

  • Can you put homebrew on this model of PSP?
