why didnt you tell me?
I ordered one when it was sold for $68 @HN, but HN canceled my order a week later citing Out of Stock
I got one from HN, and I am pleased with it for $70. $120 is still a good price, but it has some competition at that price point.
I find the wifi stuff OK, but not really useful except for the auto back-up.
The camera has a million features, and includes full manual controls too, which is pretty amazing at this price point.
The only let down is the max aperture is f3.2, I would have loved an f2 like the Canon s110.
Also, the ergonomics of accessing some controls is a bit fiddly, going through multiple soft menus.
Higher ISOs are a bit too grainy to be of use too.
But this is comparing a $100 camera against a $350+ competitor.
It's great value.

Tad melodramatic don't you think? Perhaps you could elaborate and explain why exactly you think Samsung cameras are doomed, given they are one of the worlds premier manufacturers.
And perhaps offer some winning alternatives at the $120 and $68 (which some people paid) price point.
I have this camera and I fully agree with mskeggs above. Its a fabulous all round package @ $120. Crazy good if you were lucky enough to score @ $68 from HN.
sorry mate, unless u really did try a Samsung camera then … it might change your thinking ;). I got the NX1000 recently, everybody blah blah about its quality and #$%# BUT, turned out it helps me capturing heaps of great quality photos now.
still prefer my ES90 for $39.
obvuiously not as good as this model, but for the price….
