Join Everyday Rewards Variable Plan for Bonus EDR Pts (15k Electricity, 10k Gas) & 1 Year Everyday Extra Subscription @ Origin

70

new residential customers only:

  • Electricity - 15,000 Everyday Rewards points ($75 Everyday Rewards dollars)
  • Natural gas - 10,000 Everyday Rewards points ($50 Everyday Rewards dollars)
  • Everyday Extra - usually $70 per year - one-time offer, non-transferable and non-refundable

similar to the Paramount+ benefit - and unlike the NBN offer - there seems to be no requirement to have an active energy plan to maintain Everyday Extra

Provided that you haven’t received any other one-off Everyday Rewards points in connection with this Energy Plan in the preceding 10-month period for the fuel supplied under this Energy Plan, you will be eligible to receive one-off Everyday Rewards points, as set out in the Details section, if you:
(1) maintain the Energy Plan for a minimum of 30 days; and
(2) provide your Everyday Rewards membership number to Origin when you sign-up to the Energy Plan.

The one-off Everyday Rewards points for electricity and/or natural gas will be deposited into your Everyday Rewards account within approximately 45 days after your Acceptance Date.

  • If I already have Everyday Rewards membership, will it be refunded pro rata?

    • presuming that you meant Everyday Extra

Unfortunately not. On an annual plan you will be billed at the start of the 12 month period and will not be able to receive a refund for unused periods if you have changed your mind.

Cancellation of your Everyday Extra subscription will take effect from the end of the relevant monthly or yearly subscription period.

      • Thanks OP, yes, Everyday Extra.

Does that mean If I have 6 months left on my Everyday Extra plan & take up this offer, my plan will reset to 12 months remaining & I get no refund from woolies?

        • i haven't taken up this offer (yet), but if it's like Paramount+, they'll send you a promo code for EE, which could then be redeemed after your current subscription ends?

          • @tonester: Hmm, just saw this on the promo page referring to 12 months Everyday Extra promo "

T&Cs apply. Offer only available to eligible Everyday Rewards members who received the offer directly from Everyday Rewards."

Might make me ineligible as I did not receive a direct offer

        • or you can get a new everyday reward account?

  • Is this for existing customers?

    • new residential customers only

you could switch to AGL today, then sign up to this deal in 45 days, on its last day

With daily "Solar Meter Charge" and 4c feed-in it's just laughable.
Only 35% higher monthly bill then my current (Red Energy)

      Agreed, terrible electricity rates.

      • Yup, the included points and Woolies membership are hardly “free”.

  • Too expensive in my area (energex SEQ) doesnt seem to be worth it even with the points.

  • +2

Did this last year. It was 20000 points for energy alone ($100 woollies )

  • Signed up y'day to Origin for 200$ credit can I add my Every Day account in to get points does anyone know please?

    Thx

This is Everyday Rewards Variable Plan
      It's either or.
In past, had choice between EDR benefits or cash off bill… Took the money💰
      See my comment below.

  • Yesterday, received over $1100 refund to bank for leaving Origin. Switched to PowerShop (with $150 credit + $200 MC to sign up).

Was Credit built up including Qld & Fed electricity cost of living rebates. My $200 credit when signed up to Origin, plus other rebates & benefits - paid all my electricity bills.

Haven't paid for electricity for many years, due to better incentives to switch retailers + rebates.
