    • What was the refunded amount?

    • I assume your order status is changed to complete order? I was advised by Samsung, this would be the case & then refund would be triggered.

      • Where it says complete? All 6 steps completed and the last one is 'delivered'.

      • Under my account it shows as "Delivered" (Buds3 pro shows as "Cancelled") and got an email with the subject "Your order is completed: Thank you for choosing us!"

    • How you asked them for refund?

      • I was able to cancel the buds3 pro right after placed the order from my account, and as I mentioned yesterday got the refund automatically, didn't have to ask

  • Did anyone ordered the Samsung Rugged case for your new phone? Do you mind giving a quick review. Is it very bulky and heavy, how's the grip and look of the case. Thanks.

    • +2

Check this out https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0DJ9V6CP6. In my opinion, it's better than all other Samsung cases.

      • i love the spigen cases..protective but not bulky

    • I bought this one and I am liking it so far

      https://mastershop.com.au/collections/uag/products/uag-monar…

      • Too expensive

    • I was referring to this case https://www.samsung.com/au/mobile-accessories/galaxy-s25-ult… which was available for purchase on the Samsung website when I pre-order my s25 Ultra. Wonder if anyone else selected this as part of their accessories, and if so what are your thoughts.

    • It will be delivered on 13th Feb.

    • This review says it's not bulky: https://youtu.be/GBHGrPiuwZw
My case has just got shipped, the phone was delivered yesterday.

    • Received the Samsung rugged case today.
It increases the size of the device very little - not bulky at all. Buttons are still easy to press. Protection looks OK - the edge around the screen is quite high - around 4mm, but the one around the three main cameras is only ~2mm high - I would prefer if it was more significant.
From ergonomics perspective, it feels plasticky and a little slippery, also the edges are a little sharp to my liking. Maybe I'll get used to it
Overall, I like Spigen Rugged Armor on my old S21 much better :-\ Will see, maybe will get another Spigen case later.

  • Anyone having notification issues on S25U, seems like there a quite a few on reddit.
    I'm one of them.

    • Like what? I'm having issue with Spotify not showing when I pull down notification. I have to pull down again to see it.

      • +2

Pull down twice > Pencil Icon > Panel settings > Choose together

        • Thanks, but i had already done that. I have to pull down again to see it in the expended panel view. Is mine just stuffed up?

    • I was having issues with gmails not showing up. Read on Samsung Community to turn off the Auto DNS

  • When i am gonna receive my phone? All of you got it? Ordered first day

    • Colour?

      • Jetblck 512

    • I ordered first day jetblack at 10am, got an email yesterday saying it will be dispatched on 11th feb, checking the order page reflected the same, however today it changed to get by 7th feb and cancel order button has disappeared.

Edit: Just got a notification on aupost app right after posting this, looks like coming tomorrow!

      • Congrats. Good news it seems like jetblack aint OoS yet

      • So showing anything in auspos

        • Got the email from Samsung saying it shipped and AusPost now saying delivery by monday. Says label created on 5th.

      • Must be showing label created by the sender. I got the same notification in my AusPost app. Not sure it will be delivered tomorrow as it hasn’t been picked up by Star Track yet.

  • Anyones order showing "ships from the 27th?".
    I ordered on the 31st.

    • +1

Yeah mine too, ordered on 30th…

    • Mine is shipping form 20th…. Jeeezzzz

    • It keeps changing, I doubt it'd take that long unless ur unlucky. Mine changed from 20th to 12th now, but until they ship, it'd probably change again

      • Mine is still 27th. I'll update if it changes.

Phone delivered this afternoon. Samsung website shows "on the way". Trying to return earbuds, whilst i seem to be able to individually tick the items, the final hurdle of 'initiate return' is greyed out. Seems random as well playing around with which items to tick to return as sometimes it ticks the phone as well, sometimes it doesnt. Buggy as hell…. but hey thats Samsung and one of the reasons as well why we all can end up stacking coupons. Anyone with other ideas?

    • +1

Sell it yourself and dont waste staff time and delay people who actually do need customer assistance by asking 20 different people in the hope you find someone who didnt get the memo.
It's not buggy. That's how they set it but still cant initiate return so doesnt matter.

  • S25 512GB Blueblack delivered on 6 Feb (and ordered on 24 Jan). I received a shipping notification just hours before delivery, although the first tracking event is from Monday morning.

  • Is anything thinking of taking the hit from ausiron and going with mobile monster they offered me 405 for 23 plus so with late fee its 460 but with mobile monster i can get 620 are they geniune ? For trade ins

    • +1

Mobile monster are genuine. I had done 2 transactions without any hassle.

      • how about mobileguru?

        • They are good. I received the $950 funds for my S24 Ultra the next day after dropping off the phone.

        • They're pretty good. Sent my S24U in - I described it as the second best condition rating ($920 instead of $950) as it had one very small scratch on the side metal. They assessed it and offered me $890 because of "superficial scratches". I called them and said I took photos before sending it and that there was only one very small scratch on it and said that I wanted them to send me photos of the superficial scratches. The Rep said she'd ask for it to be reassessed and for photos to be provided if they didn't agree to the $920.

It was reassessed and I got $920 so good outcome.

    • I just took my old phone there a few mins ago - $420 from MM as opposed to $280 from Asurion.

      • Take it in where do you guys have a drop of point or you just meaning the post office ?

        • They have an office in Melb city you can drop off at

    • I only concern about what they put in the line when not returning, Samsung might take away the bonus credit if go down that path. The exact line reads:

You have 7 days to return your device to Asurion once you receive your new eligible Galaxy device. If you do not return your device within 14 days, you will be automatically charged a Late Return Fee of up to $60, which is non-refundable. The Security Charge will be held until your device is received and graded. Samsung may also charge you for any additional bonus credit applied to your order.

I reckon it is a give and take, Samsung reserves the right to do so.

  • Received my S25 Ultra Titanium Black and Bud 3 Pros (Perth).
Does anyone know how to return the trade in phone as there doesn't seem to be any information attached

  • Bit of positive news. My order that was originally set for delivery by the 7th but was then updated to the 11th has now been shipped and estimated to be delivered on he 7th again. S25 ultra Jet black 256gb, buds pro, case and film. Hopefully it comes today and other people that's had theirs delayed get a nice surprise.

  • Recieved my phones yesterday but order status is still on its way and have yet to recieve refund/asurion emails. Anyone else been in this situation?

    • Yes for me. I was able to select individual items for returns but the status Return Process Started. And delivery currently showing On the Way.

  • So I have an iPhone 13 registered for trade in. I can get more $$$ for it elsewhere.
So.. as I understand it, if I don't send it in I will lose the $300 pending charge plus $60.
Is there 100% no risk of this affecting my trade in bonus too?
    TIA

    • +1

No. No impact on trade in bonus

    • $300 trade-in value has already been applied to your order, you’re giving it back, not losing it.

    • Probably you will have to let them know that you are not sending in, so you don't get slugged with $60 late non-return fee.

      • So have we always had to let them know we aren't sending in, or is this first time? I could have missed it as in the past people just pay a $30 or $60 no sending in admin fee?

What reason would people be giving ?

        • Just say changed my mind, not sending in?

          • +1

@cloudie9: I m in the same boat as I have already sold the tradein device so no chance of sending tradein back. Is it that straightforward? Sorry for asking as I am new here. In NZ , i never get charged for the tradein and always use to send the tradein back. Reading about Asurion, i realised they may not refund even after sending a brand new condition pixel so decided to keep it or sell it outside. It is sold now.

      • have you done this before and not get slugged? wasn't sure based on how your comment was phrased

        • +1

I have done it with Assurant NZ in New Zealand. The Samsung NZ or Assurant never charges a security fee and have sent phones back to them twice with no issues. Once i did a Tradein here, i mean Australia, i read Asurion feedback and decided not to send the phone back, either keep it or sell it on Facebook marketplace. now I have sold the phone and not planning to send anything back. Is it good to cancel now or wait for the time out after 60$ late fee is charged. This is my first time doing tradein in Australia.

          • @Emenent7426: I've had Asurion claim the security charge for the S23 I've put with my Trade In. I recieved the phone yesterday, but I am thinking that one of my parents may need the phone as a replacement for one of their older devices.

Should I contact Asurion to let them know I'm considering cancelling the trade in to avoid the late fee? They've not yet sent the reminder about sending the phone in yet

            • @burgo101: @burgo101 I am in the same boat mate. Need to wait for 60$ to be charged or request them to cancel. Not sure but the option of cancellation from website is now gone

            • @burgo101: Just ignore Asurion email. They will debit $60 from your card eventually after few days/weeks. The security charge will not be refunded, so technically your new phone is a bit more expensive than the tax invoice you received.

              • @double_J: And the tradeID cancellation date is 5th March 2025. So technically I am free from trade after 5th march 2025.

          • @Emenent7426: Now can not see the option of cancel tradein in the tradeup portal.

  • Has anyone been successful with refunding the buds?

    • I was able to (returning and not refunding yet) But until the delivery status changes to Shipped. I dont think I will recieve an email confirmation for Asurian and Returns.

      • Ive contacted the samsung team and they said due to the voucher that we used ($200), we won't get any money back even I return the buds :(

        • I think you should try with another staff (chat or phone) because if you have already received confirmation of the cancellation, they cannot just unilaterally turn around and say you won't get any money back. It's a legal document.

    • Someone received their refund just 3 hours after their phone was delivered, but I still haven't gotten mine after 19 hours.

      • Dont beleive everything you hear online.

        • - Abraham Lincoln

        • +1

Those who are saying they got their refund are not lying. They cancelled the buds after purchasing and got the refund after the phone was delivered. Its different than returning the accessories after receiving them.

    • +1

      FYI regarding timelines.
I managed to cancel my Buds through the app on Friday 24 Jan around 4pm.

      Yesterday (6 Feb):
00:00 - Samsung : "Your order AUxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxx is on the way!"
      11:43 - Delivered
13:51 - Asurion : "Samsung Trade-in: It's time to send us your device"
      13:53 - Samsung : "Samsung - Payment refunded"
13:53 - PayPal : "Your refund from Samsung Electronics Australia Pty Ltd is on the way"
      13:55 - PayPal : "Refund received"
14:31 - Samsung : "Your order is completed: Thank you for choosing us!" (including new Tax Receipt without Buds)

      • How much did you get it back? When I called this morning about the refund process, staff basically told me I won't have any money back due to the voucher that I used for the accessories

        • The exact amount for Buds: $179.40

          • @WalterBiH: Oh shhhhh.. that's awesome. Did you do it through an app? I can't use an app since I bought it from the edicational store. Anyways you think I can get a refund through here?

            • @watupman: As I said in my post, I cancelled Buds in the app before they closed the loophole on 24 Jan. I never specifically followed up the refund (after reading stories here about the different stories given by different agents). I just waited for Samsung process to auto complete (again as others have advised here) and refund magically arrived - even earlier than I expected.

I was also prepared to cop the loss of the refund and/or Buds considering we were all gamin the system and taking a gamble.

Hope it works out for you others as well.

              • @WalterBiH: Ah got ya! Good on you my man! Very ahppy for you :)

              • @WalterBiH: This is good to hear. The only problem Bud3 Pro is over $200 so not getting the money back means you're at least $30 out.

I've been advised to wait for 48 hours so I guess I am calling them on Monday. The reason is I was paying the phone using Afterpay so if I leave it too long, I might have ended up paying them all before I get the chance to talk to them about refund!!! It's already 2 out of 4 instalment being paid.

                • @burningrage:

                  you're at least $30 out

At the same time you can easily sell it for $150+ on Facebook marketplace

                  • @CodeXD: I saw some new ones on fb marketplace for $75 in Melbourne yesterday. Not sure you'd get that much.

                    • @thedean: Double check it is buds3 pro - I've definitely seem buds2 pro down to that much.

                        • @thedean: Damn hard to believe they've dropped that much even for BNIB.

                        • +2

@thedean: This is a fake copy and it's not from Samsung. Look at the stickers on the side of the box which are different to the original one, and also the original comes without the wrapping plastic layer. Last year like these days, the asking price on fb marketplace for a fake Buds2 pro was $50.

                          • @Bargains hunterr: Yea thanks I realised this after. Samsung doesn't use plastic anymore.
Kinda want to go inspect it and see whats in the box.

                  • @CodeXD: Yes but because it was already cancelled (I cancelled on the 23/01), I didn't get the bud3 so nothing to be sold.

  • Got my Jet Black 512Gb Ultra with Pro Buds & Clear Magnetic Case yesterday morning. Added the ESR screen protector immediately after peeling off the black protector from Samsung avoiding the extra cleaning step and finger print re-registration. Easy peasy. The only pain is having to go through all the apps that need reconfiguring as the app data doesn't get transferred.

    • how's the screen protector? fingerprint reader working fine with it?

      • +1

im using the spigen glass screen protector and fingerprint works perfectly. no decrease in sensitivity.

        • @lplau could you please provide the link to buy? Thanks

          • @Avi0001: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/235391329602
It's a full screen protector, with 0 cutouts for the camera.
I've had the most success with them especially with cases, fits with almost a less than 0.5mm gap (cant stick my finger nail between it) between the Spigen case + glass protector.

I've found the other brands on amazon to be a hit and miss, either too small and a larger gap for dust to settle, or interferes with case (causes lifting when pressing hard on case sides)

      • No issues if you register prints after applying otherwise from what I've read you need to reregister prints if you done it beforehand.

    • Could you please provide some update regarding ESR glass protector. Is fingerprint scanner working? Please provide the link to buy?

      • Tried posting link but ozbargain doesn’t allow it. Search in AliExpress
