  • Does anyone know if the below is possible please? I placed 2 phone orders. One for son and one for daughter.

    For first order, I received the phone + cover AND a refund of the buds today.

    However, I was not able to cancel my second order of buds online as they had already changed the online cancellation feature by then.

    Second order is due to be sent from 13th February.

    At the time of trying to cancel the buds for 2nd order (2 weeks ago), the Samsung agent suggested I refuse the delivery of the buds (if sent separately), so that I will receive an automatic refund for just the buds.

    Does anyone know if this is true?

    I'd hate for it to go missing.

    Not even sure how to refuse a delivery of buds, or whether they will be sent in the same package as the phone or not.

    • I can update you once I receive mine today but I'm almost certain it all comes in one package. I only have one tracking id for my order.

      it comes in the same package unless they ran out of stock, and the ETA for buds is much later, then they will dispatch seperately.

  • I just called Samsung regarding the refund for the Buds 3 Pro, and the answer was they won't honor the full refund as promised and only a partial refund of $34.

    Arrived Nth Sydney: S25U 512 Grey, Gov store, ordered Day 1, 11.30 am.

    Until I heard the doorbell, tracking only showed 'Received at Macquarie Park processing centre at 4.17 am' and 'Est delivery 6 Feb'.
    No updates of 'On board for delivery' or 'Your parcel is coming today' (I had only checked a couple of mins earlier).

    As I was signing, the text arrived from Startrack 'Your parcel is coming today'. So there is still hope if you haven't received an 'on board for delivery' update.

            A lot of people in comments said they also cannot cancel any accessory despite having multiple accessories. It would only allow them to cancel whole order.

            • @CodeXD: 25th night I ordered ordered 2 25s for parents, added 1 case each and buds.

              Then wait for the order to move to awaiting dispatch, cancel button then has option to cancel to accessories.

              Anything prior to that will show cancellation of the whole order

    Just tried my buds3 pro and I'm pretty happy with them Fits well in my wireless-earbuds-don't-like-to-stay-in-my-ear ears and ANC seems pretty good from what I can tell so far. Seems to block out voices extremely well but I can hear myself typing on logitech mx keys. Sound is decent as well. Still trying to find an eq i like.

    If there's no connection issues in the city, I'm going to return my Sony Linkbuds S and keep these.

    • I have the same issue, especially with my left ear. The ONLY buds that fit in my ears are my Buds+ (because of the wing), which are showing their age.

      I have buds 2 and buds 2 pro for motorbike riding and they both fall out of the ear regardless what size thingy I use or how hard I shove them in there.
      Have you tried the buds 2? Do they sit in your ear better than buds 2 if you have?

        Nah, I've never tried any of the previous buds. I do have the buds live, Sony linkbuds s and airpods gen 2(i think) that all stay in my ear. Out of all those I'd say the buds live are the most uncomfortable although slightly, they do stay in my ear though.

        Is there a samsung experience store near you? I went to one and they had a dummy buds3 pro i could try for the fit…they use a hand sanitiser to disinfect it…the price of trying on the buds3 pro caused some kind of irritation/itchiness inside my ear which is finally healing after like 2wks 😂

        • I actually have the buds3 coming from the jotform, but they might just take a couple of weeks.
          I was going to sell because the shape is going to be objectively worse for using under a motorbike helmet, but I might go to give them a try somewhere.

            @thedean: Not sure how the stems are going to work for a motorbike helmet. Try going to a samsung experience store with your helmet and see if they have dummy buds3 you can try with your helmet on. Obviously wouldn't be able to tell how the sound is but at least you can get a feel for the fit.

            I saw someone online that someone said only airpods (the non pro) worked for them and the buds3 felt almost the same and fit. Read that and decided to try to buy a buds3 as well.

            @thedean: Only one annoying thing i'm noticing is the pause/resume music when removing/wearing the buds is a bit fiddly. Resuming music plays up a bit with spotify. …Also the triangular stem is a bit more fiddly to put the buds back into the case. I can see myself dropping them when outside

  • Ordered my Jet Black 256 and it's been changed to the 11th. Seems jet-black has been hit with longer delivery times. I don't mind waiting a few more days as I love the colour.

  • Got my phone and been setting it up. The Tit Blue looks not as blue as it seemed to be, but it will probably grow on me.

    I hate the clear case they are doing this year so will send back a bunch I got and try the Spigen when it arrives.

  • Received the phone and started a return on three of the accessories. Is there any chance that Samsung could charge me the $200 voucher amount for GALAXY2025? I don't think so, right?

      Why would they charge you when they can just take it out of your refund?

      • As in, the $200 worth of accessories were essentially free when using the voucher, reducing the price of the overall bill by $200. If I return $100 worth of accessories, would they refund me that amount, or would that make the use of the voucher null and void?

        • It is pretty clear that Samsung has caught onto this trick and obviously started blocking it. So it wouldn't surprise me if they decide to subtract returned accessories from the coupon first before refunding the surplus. But hard to say if they will do it this year or not.

          No point asking Samsung as they will just say the latter "we will do it", when they probably don't know what corporate will do. As this has been a developing situation.

      They would have left a card and will take it to the nearest Post office. You will see an update later in the afternoon in Aus Post App. Alternately they may deliver again tomorrow

  • Anyone know how long after delivery Asurion usually sends email instructions for trade in?

    • For my S24 it was almost instantaneous on delivery.

        wouldn't work with change of mind as for that reason, they say "…within 14 days of delivery and their Mobile Product is unused and in a re-sellable condition (e.g. the packaging is unopened, the seal is intact and all in-box items are in the box)."

  • Just set everything up, really loving the phone right now, and the buds 3 pro are soo much better than the buds 2 pro, wow. Only thing, i got the clear case and not impressed, its kind of… loose? Not the best quality

    • I opted for the flipsuit case. It has a clear option if you want it. Real good quality I love it.

        • They call it flipsuit but essentially it is a bumper case with replaceable nfc enabled backing plate so you can buy new back plates to put on.

        • nah it's just the style of the case. there's flipsuit case for S25U. fils nicely and good quality, has two backs: clear and artwork. and you can get diff artworks later on

          with the clear back it's like a clear case almost, just more sturdy. default artwork is quite cool too

        @Zeee - not sure, havent tried those. I will say they are comparable/similar to airpods pro2, which i consider the best true wireless buds

    • You can try select all item then unselect the phone. It worked for me
