  • Just receieved mine today. I was able to select the accessories as part of return. Not returning my phone though ….

  • Just tried logging in, you can't just return the buds. Selecting it select both phone and itself.

    with the phone

      Trying to return through the website ticks both the phone and earbuds and going through online chat is advised they won't be able to either.

  • Don't see any option to return in the Samsung Shop app or web page

    Orders page just shows 'Delivered'

    Bought a case and screen protector with the buds but looks like I won't be able to do a partial return

    • Yup…I can't see the option of return even for phone.

    • Same with me. Others are able to initiate the return. Why some of us are not seeing the option? Anyone has got any idea?

      • Did you start the return process after the delivery status showed Delivered ? I did when it was showing On its way.

        • For me it was not showing even when it was on its way. I thought that button would be enabled only after it's delivered.

  • Got the phone earlier today. Coming from a oneplus 10. Great little phone and for under 1200 it was a great deal. Was considering the oneplus 13 but at 1600 and no local support the sammy wins easily.

  • Probably overkill but how are you guys taking evidence your trade in phone is working properly? Just photos? Or videos of plugging the phone in to charge etc?

      take videos. Asurion are a picky and hard to deal with. they might tell u that ur device is not as per you mentioned during trade in

      Sounds silly but im recording it working in the car then walking it into the post office and recording the whole ordeal.

      Not leaving a $700 bet to chance if I don't have to.

      • i managed to start a return for buds3 but havent got any update from samsung. reading at other comments..might just use them

      • Yep, sorry, the buds and case. Reason stated was that I believe the clear case to be pretty average build quality and that I've decided to use my Buds FE for a little longer.

        It was rejected because they are part of a package deal/promotion.

        • also on the phone with Samsung trying to return the case as faulty. i intend to use it but it gets heated very fast

            @Aemit: Mine got hot while I was doing the set up and migration w/o case.
            After a few hours, no longer feeling warm. Possibly lots of background optimisations and updates running initially.
            Hopefully normal media or gps use doesn’t cause too much heating with this phone.

            Last stage of applying the film protector was confusing 😅 it felt like I was removing it. Actual film is almost unnoticeable if not for my newbie bubbles

              Samsung said even if one of the accessories is faulty have to return whole order

                Does the glass protector make it less anti-reflective?

    Today, received my phone. Was successful in cancelling my buds, immediately post purchase. When will I get my refund from Samsung?

    • How were you able to cancel jus the buds? When I click on the buds, the phone also get tick.

      • On the prelaunch day. One of the lucky ones. I managed to cancel individual items without comprising the entire order.

    • Good luck with that. Last time it took me 2 months of following up every day….it got to the point I wanted to give up.

  • Got it in perth today. shipping shows it left sydney about 10pm last night when I got the tracking email.

    Gotta say disappointed with the clear mag case. Very slippery and a lot more ridgid that I thought it'd be. Was intending to use it to wireless charge, but thinking I should have gone for a silicone one.

  • Anybody get a decent mag-safe case for the Ultra? I got the grip case but want a magsafe for car mount.

            Its not overheating now…probably working overtime during set up process

    • Torras 360 spin avail in clear, black and blue. I used the clear on my S24U - no yellowing. Not cheap but great quality and having the stand is extra useful.

    • flipsuit pne is the next best thing, it comes with a clear back. I decided to give it a go this year, and it works nicely with grey colour

    so far very happy with the phone. I wish Samsung would optimise smart switch as it's not possible to migrate across secure folder unless you half ass set up new phone first, create a secure folder there, and then run smart switch and secure folder will be an option

    or I guess in retrospect one could run smart switch off the bat, skip secure folder, then create one on the new phone and run it again selecting just the secure folder in the apps section. will try that next time

    • Does smart switch copy over your logins or only your apps, easy e.g. do I have to login to Facebook again or is it done?

        some apps will move across completely in their state, but things like Facebook Instagram various Messengers you'll have to log in again

        if you have Samsung Pass on the old phone, and you've been saging logins in it, it will carry over to the new phone and you'll easily log back in again. I had issues tho restoring Samsung Pass it wanted old phone pin to decrypt things, and I provided that but it was always saying "wrong pin". I worked around by changing pin on my old phone, and then used new pin in the decryption, that worked. glitch I guess

        Samsung Wallet you'll have to reactivate cards one by one

        banking apps will need login and activation too

        a lot of other stuff will come across fine tho

        takes care of all the photos and videos which is a big chunk of work, in my case at least

    Anyone going to submit a complaint To Consumer protection for false advertising not promising refund when it is in their terms and condition and when the items is listed separately with price… If it is a bundle it should not have separate price to allow refund.

      Return all their products and buy phone separately.
      They did not force us to buy accessories on discounted price with extra $200 off. If you still not happy just returne whole your order.

    got an email re tradein and the upto $60 fee for not returning, they link to terms and conditions from 2023, and is not the same as what is shown at https://www.samsung.com/au/trade-in/terms-and-conditions/

        2024 definitely has no $60 fee for non-returns but only if you return the device late.

    No luck trying to return the watch. The funny thing is I actually wanted to return it to buy a Galaxy Watch 7 (rather then the FE which i originally ordered) but online agent advised that since the GALAXY2025 code was used, i would have to return the whole order.

    • i was going to return the buds 3 (non pro).. I wonder if they are garbage, I have never used them.

      anyone else used and like them?

    Received the phone earlier today and got the refund for the Buds3 Pro three hours later

    • Interesting, people are saying it takes up to a week. I haven't received any refund yet.
