It can take around 25hrs or so.

      • Thanks mate

        • Did u get it yet?

          • @Koipanda: Yes i got it..samsung also called me to check if i have recieved it

            • @toyapple9: Do you know how long it roughly took to receive it? I'm still waiting for mine - 24hrs

  • they said the eVoucher for $200 is only for cases and stuff not the phone? is this true? does not say in TOS.

  • Good…now just waiting for the last gen to drop

    • +1

      Won't happen anytime soon

    • S25 preorder will be cheaper than S24's

  • +1

Use this unique voucher code below at checkout:
    GALAXY2025

    SO UNIQUE lol

    • At least it is free to sign up to unpacked to get the code AHAHA

      • Hahaha yeah. Still haven't gotten the targetted code :(

  • do the s25 drop as of tomorrow morning in aus for pre order ?

  • can $20 voucher be refunded if we don't end using the voucher?

    • +1

      No refunds

      • oic that sucks then
I think the discounts might be less this year since you only getting the $100 ($20 evoucher+) off + trade in bonus $400 + $200 off accessories
and $200 is only on accessories (not on the phone)

e.g. if they sold the ultra for same price as iphone 16 pro max

        so
        $2150 - ($80 (evoucher+) + $400 - trade in phone price)
=$1670 - trade in phone price..

if there is any other vouchers or discounts I have not included in the math then let me know

        • $200 is stackable for phone as well..

          • @toyapple9: are you referring to this $200 off accessories as being stackable on phone price?
            or another $200 ?

    • +2

I think $20 voucher is valid for 3 yrs so you can use it for future purchases. Not sure if it can be refunded though.

      • yeah you are right…. 3 years
but the boosted value is valid till 14/2/2025

ie (Pre-order boosted value offer valid from 5:00AM AEDT 23 Jan to 14th Feb 2025. After this period, the value of the eVoucher will revert to its original value of $20)

so basically you paid $20 to get $20 off which means you actually lost $20 if you use it later after the boosted period
while if you use during the boosted period, you gain $80 credit.

        • You might be able to refund now before the unpacked

          • +1

@CodeXD: I have not bought a evoucher+ cos still not sure if I will buy the phone tomorrow or not
since we don't know what the final pricing will be.

if they jack up the prices of the phones(e.g ultra) to be more expensive than the iphone 16 pro max or last year's ultra prices etc.
and you committed $20 to them, you might feel compel to just buy it anyway even though now you get $100 (actually $80 since you paid $20)
but they jack up the phones by $100 or $200..

How much discount did you really actually get if the prices got jacked up?
This like what happens with the ebay discounts when all the stores jack up the prices and you get (20% discount etc)

so I am not a fan of this new requirement of purchasing a evoucher+ to get a boosted value
which makes you more committed to follow through with the purchase (which is their intention of creating this evoucher+ in the first place)

Not being able to refund after the unpack event is quite diabolical of Samsung.

          • +1

@CodeXD: another issue is Samsung again doing their fragment specs depending on country crap again
this time it is to with the RAM…

            https://www.sammobile.com/news/galaxy-s25-ultra-16gb-ram-cou…

Not a fan of the Exynos which they sold to the Australian market (in their older S2x line)
which thankfully they could not do for S25 this year due to low yield.

Exynos chip usually performs not as good as the snapdragon and runs hotter
(I got a Exynos chip samsung phone so have experience this especially in the heat area which automatically force closes the running app)

  • S25 Edge?

  • yep i feel scammed after buying that $20 code. these deals suck this year, phone cost so much more. this sucks. trapped with code if I don't use it lol

    • Got the S25+ 256gb with all the coupons down to $850 which is very similar to last year's purchase price for S24+ that I got.

      • Can you please tell which ones you used?

        • $300 trade in bonus (get via chat)
          $200 Galaxy2025
          $100 ecoupon ($20)
          5% off app first order

On top of the EDU store pricing.

          • @lplau: but Can't cancel accessories anymore for the $200? so that's used on phone or accessories?

          • @lplau: Amazing, well done. Did you get the trade in bonus this morning? Any tips? In a very long queue at the moment

            • +1

@chickennix: Use whatsapp option. You will wait long but havent had any of the disconnection issues.

              • @lplau: Also.. how did you get app discount AND edu store pricing?

                • @chickennix: App discount auto applies in app if your account never used app for ordering.

Edu store pricing needs to have a edu email to link to your account.

Sadly only EDU can use app. Supposedly Aus Govt EPP can use it according to the prompts in the app but i couldnt find where to 'initiate' this store as the App (under Shop') menu only shows EDU store link.

                  • @lplau: My total was $871 but I need to send my iPhone 13 in as trade-in.
It seems as though my Trade in Bonus value dropped between the cart and the checkout from $300 to $100…

Does your $850 cost include having to trade in a phone?

          • @lplau: It doesnt accept the code 2025.

  • GALAXY2025 voucher will ONLY APPLY if the total final value of ecosystem products in cart is a minimum $200 (post any discounts)

  • yeah, I feel scammed.

  • omg i waited for live chat after 80 people they closed the chat and now I have to go in q again now there is 200! this is insane. now have to wait an hour this is a joke.

    • What for?

      • To help us to find a closure of this uncertainty saga

    • Dont use Text Chat, swtich to using Whatsapp. That one doesn't get the "Disconnection" issue.

      • Whatsapp not coming up an option anymore for me.

      • it legit closed yet again and now im been waiting over 2 hours. and stuck behind 400 people now. I HATE THIS, I see no whatsapp option. now gonna have to wait another 2 hours, this is FUN

        Someone please help..

        • Sadly just have to slog it out or wait a few days…. too many from Ozb and Whirlpool hitting them up.

  • Can't cancel accessories anymore. Samsung changed the logic on the website, so when you try to select cancel a accessory it highlights the phone too.

    • Wow… finally… i can see how smart AI is works and can help multi billion company to run their marketing and online store
      /s

    • So once you place the order and it's confirmed, you can't cancel individual line items?

  • Did anyone else notice the extremely shady way that they changed the terms of the 'GALAXY2025' promo code? When I pre-registered, these were the terms:

1 $200 value quoted is based on a $100 eVoucher via generic voucher code that will double in value to $200 from 23rd January 2025 5:00AM AEDT until 26th January 2025 4:59AM AEDT. From 26th January 2025 5:00AM AEDT, the value of the eVoucher will revert to its original value of $100 and will be valid until 13th February 2025 11:59PM AEDT. eVoucher must be redeemed in the same transaction as the purchase of a smartphone device from the Galaxy smartphone series unveiled at the 2025 Samsung Australia Unpacked event (23rd January 2025 5:00AM AEDT) and only on the Samsung Online Store and eligible Enhanced Partnership Portals. Any remaining portion of the eVouchers will be forfeited. Offer subject to Terms & Conditions of Sale.

However this morning, after the release of the phones, they have sent another email with the same 'GALAXY2025' promo code, and these terms:

    4 $200 Galaxy Eco-voucher
$200 value quoted is based on a $100 eVoucher via generic voucher code that will double in value to $200
    from from 05:00am (AEDT) 23 January 2025 until 04:59am (AEDT) 26 January 2025. From 05:00am (AEDT)
26 January 2025, the value of the eVoucher will revert to its original value of $100 and will be valid until
11:59pm (AEDT) 13 February 2025. eVoucher must be redeemed in the same transaction as the Galaxy S25
Series and is only available for use on the Samsung Online Store and eligible Enhanced Partnership Portals.
eVoucher is redeemable on selected Galaxy Tablets, Watches, Buds and Accessories. For the eVoucher to
apply, customers must select at least $200 worth of eligible Galaxy Devices and Accessories
    between
05:00am (AEDT) 23 January 2025 and 04:59am (AEDT) 26 January 2025 or at least $100 worth of eligible
Galaxy Devices and Accessories between 05:00am (AEDT) 26 January 2025 and 11:59pm (AEDT) 13 February
2025, upon checkout. Any remaining portion of the eVouchers will be forfeited. Offer subject to Terms &
    Conditions of Sale.

  • Seems you have entered an incorrect address. Please double check and try again. omg I been trying to buy this for 3 hours now I get this error? what do I do?

  • Is anyone else having a problem with that $20 voucher? When I use it, it shows up and says $100 discount, but it doesn't actually subtract $100 from the total?

    • Derp. Nevermind. PEBKAC, the value of the discounts exceeded the value of the device (S24 base) so it wasn't taking it off the total order price (of the accessories).

  • +1

Bought this voucher but do not find it useful. Anyone else share same feeling.

    • Bought this voucher but do not find it useful. Anyone else share same feeling.

this was their smart trap this year..

get people to buy a voucher to commit to buying the phone first before any final reveal
now people feel compel to follow through buying it else it means they lost $20 (if not used while it is boosted)

    • Can I buy it

  • +1

Anyway I've submitted my order. They've changed the way the vouchers work this year so I probably didn't get the best deal, but my out of pocket is so small as to make it irrelevant.

    FWIW:

    EPP - 256GB S25 base (20% off base price = $1,119.20)
    S24 trade-in (-$510)
    Trade-in bonus standard (-$100)
    Trade-in bonus voucher (-$300)
    $20 eVoucher (-$100)

    Out of pocket $109.20.

If I were to attempt to use GALAXY2025 it simply adds the cost of the devices to the order, because the discount comes off the phone, so if I added the Galaxy Buds3 Pro then my out of pocket ends up being $248 or something, which is not a bad discount on the Buds, but it's not exactly the full $200 off (i.e. expecting to only pay the difference in excess of $200 but it didn't work out that way because there wasn't enough value left in the phone to absorb the discount).

    • What happends if you don't return the S24 trade in?

      • +1

I'm legit going to return mine, but they charged the $510 as security, which I suppose they'll keep and possibly also charge the $60(?) non-return fee. But the other trade-in bonuses will still apply to the order, making the price $679.20.

    • I'm in the exact same scenario as you.
I debated trying to sell Buds on Marketplace and use the voucher for it's reverted value of $20 another time, but it's definitely not worth the hassle.
I went with base device for $109 (+ $20 cost of voucher) with trade-in.

  • My eVoucher order is completed but I didn't receive the code? Is it a code or credit balance?

    • takes up to 24 hours as a separate email

  • how long does it take for the voucher to come through?

doies it get emailed or have to keep checking the samsung site/profile/orders?

**saw the response above - up to 24hrs but whats the norm?

    • +1

got mine within 1 hour and 15 mins

      • i just got the email saying order complete

but cant see the email for the voucher/code?
was there a lag between both?

        • got mine 50 minutes after 'order complete' email

  • +2

Thanks OP, here's my order (EDU Store):

    Boosted Voucher ($20)
    Samsung S25+ 256GB ($1359)
    Galaxy Watch 7 Bluetooth, 44mm ($359)

    Bonus Trade-in (-$100)
    Bonus Trade-in Code (-$300)
    GALAXY2025 (-$200)
    Boosted Voucher ($-100)
    [iPhone X -$75 trade, non-return]

    Total: $943 + $60 no trade-in admin fee

    Selling S24 Ultra 256GB for $1000 and Galaxy Watch 7 for $300

    Profit of $297

    • Any reason you are going from S24 Ultra to S25+ and not to S25 Ultra?

      • +1

I assume S25+ battery life will be better (-100mAh smaller but smaller screen). Pen will be useless to me now since they removed Bluetooth on pen, which was my only use case (remote shutter)

  • Can confirm the $200 voucher still works - using it to buy samsung galaxy buds3 pro headphones

  • Can someone explain what the trade in bonus code is?

    • download the Samsung Members app on your phone and it's in there - took me ages and a lot of searching online to work that out lol

  • Why is this listed as expired? My email still has 10 hours or so left to use it

    • +1

Because it is no longer possible to register for it anymore

      • Yea i missed the register part of the title lol

  • after trade in I ended up getting the S25 and buds pro 3 for $834
Not keen on the plus and ultra as I want a phone that's more 'pocketable'

P.S I miss my old compact S10e that was the best phone.
