Used to be just go to live chat for $100 voucher or newsletter for free, now Sammy is doing the sales of $100 voucher for $20. How times has changed.

    • You can still ask for the loyalty discount. There's also the free $200 for the newsletter. This is an extra $100 coupon for $20, essentially $80 optionally if you want.

      • +1

Feels like too much of a gamble. What if it doesn't stack with some other trade in or bonus accessories offer?

        • +2

You have a $20 voucher to use within three years at the very least.

        • Worst case you can use the $20 of value, so not stacking isn't a risk if you're sure you'll buy. Biggest issue is potentially not wanting to buy at all.

      • Where I can get $200 newsletter voucher please?

        • yes want to know too

        • Go to Samsung AU website, click the banner to register, fill out your details. That's it.

  • I will go the JB route just because I have a pile of vouchers to use up.

The JB email said $200 off. That's good for me.. if I have read it right

    • How did you get the JB email? I don't see any form to fill on the JB page

      • I got an email from JB saying to pre-register. It said $200 coupon will be sent just after pre-order period starts

  • +1

    Got sorry error occured

When submitted the questions. Tried submitting 5 times already? Happen to anyone else?

    • I think website is cooked atm due to traffic, same issue for the voucher too

      • Thanks

Often dont get the good deals even though quite quick to get on it :(

  • Are Samsung still doing crazy Trade-Up offers? Or has that been axed?

    • +1

Nobody knows, wait and see, but most likely they will.

    • That comes later and is probably worth waiting for

    • Their trade in bonuses haven't been as high, nor has the straight rrp discounts.

JB hifi had the best deal recently imo for the 24u. Pay $766 for $1800 credit

  • I've never done the loyalty discounts, but are they usually applicable to the EDU/enterprise portals?

Looks like the voucher can be redeemed in EDU/enterprise - so it's more value to use it there maybe?

  • +1

Errors on the the sign up page and to purchase vouchers… can't get it atm

    • +2

Try it a few more times without filling in your name and phone number.

      • Legend. It worked. thank you!

        • how do you do that, not allowing to progress if not entering name and phone etc.

          • @sn809: Used mobile website, just entered email and checked all boxes.

  • Can we use the $200 voucher to buy the galaxy buds instead? No need for a new phone.

    • Terms and conditions say no. Can only be used if when you buy a smartphone.
The $20/$100 looks like it might work but only for galaxy branded things.

  • I have like 1000 rewards points can i use that and split it for 10 each way anyone had any luck?

  • +1

Thanks OP, filled out the form on the website but I did not recieve my email yet for the voucher purchase. It sucks they are forcing us to buy it before even knowing anything about it.

  • When signing up, it says error has occured.

    • Same

      • Used Microsoft Edge as a browser and all done. Same for the $20 voucher payment.

        • still the same error, tried 3 different browsers

          • +1

@BlackorRed: Yup, Ops! Something went wrong
. You cannot process any type of payment, regardless of your browser.

Hope they start to sell samsung laptops in here too
current luna-lake gen has great value

  • Sorry, error has occurred.

  • can't seem to check it out using my samsung points. will try some other time

  • Ops! Something went wrong
Your payment was unable to be processed. Please try again or contact your payment provider.

  • has anyone gotten their $20 eVoucher purchase yet? I got the order confirmation and completion email but no voucher.

    • No, only confirmation

    • same, got completion email already but no code, probably take 24 hours

  • Reckon it possible to buy multiple codes and use them all in one purchase

    • +1

      1 code per transcations

  • +1

Same, having issues with paying for $20 eVoucher.
    Keep getting the message:
    "Ops! Something went wrong
Your payment was unable to be processed. Please try again or contact your payment provider."

Thought it was my card, called the bank, no issues with the card. Must be Sammy's site…

    • +1

Yep same - payment keeps failing. Might wait a few hours and try again later…

    • It's working now.
Didn't sign in, just processed it as guest, payment went through.

  • Sorry, error has occurred.

  • -8

    Sorry, error has occurred.

    • Don't enter your name or number and don't select any questions options - email only.

    • The deal posted is for registering the even to get $200 voucher, not to neg the deal for the $20 eVoucher ;)

Edit: I haven’t negged your comment

      • -2

neg isn't against you, it's against Sammy for the Borken site for $200 voucher, so others will be aware. Have tried the email only method no deal.

        • +2

          neg isn't against you

I’m aware, but I posted the deal is for people to register the event.

I’ve tried to register again using another email after your comment was posted, and using doot’s workaround, I have got the thanks for registering screen. YMMW

  • I'm having trouble understanding where the $200 comes in. Can somebody with better reading comprehension and brain than me please ELI5.

I think I got this part where you pay $20 to get a voucher that can temporarily be used as if it were a $100 vouch when buying the latest Samsung phone that will be announced at the end of January. But then what's the deal with the voucher doubling in value to $200 between Jan 23rd and Jan 26th? Or is that a different voucher?

    • +4

I'm having trouble understanding where the $200 comes in. Can somebody with better reading comprehension and brain than me please ELI5.

      sure, here is the ELI5

Imagine you have a special magic ticket worth $100. It's like having 100 chocolate bars!
Now, there's going to be a special time - kind of like when Cinderella's pumpkin turns into a carriage - where your ticket becomes EXTRA special. Starting very early in the morning on January 23rd (when most people are still sleeping!), your $100 ticket will magically double to $200! That's like having 200 chocolate bars instead of 100!
But just like Cinderella's carriage turns back into a pumpkin at midnight, your magic ticket will go back to being worth $100 on January 26th (also very early in the morning when people are sleeping).
      So remember:

Before January 23rd: Your ticket is worth $100
During the magic time (January 23rd-26th): Your ticket is worth $200
After January 26th: Your ticket goes back to being worth $100

      • So do the $200 stacks with the $100 and totals a $300?

      • Doesn't it then turn into a rotten pumpkin if you leave it out in the sun for another month, and revert to original $20?

And don't forget that you need to buy a magic ticket to go to the ball, which costs 20 chocolate bars.

        That is clear as mud!

      • That was really quite funny, thanks.

I'm still obviously too dumb to get it though unfortunately, because it doesn't answer the part I'm confused about:

I pay $20 to get a voucher that's (temporarily) worth $100. Does that $100 voucher double in value during a certain time (jan 23rd to 26th), or is the $100 voucher that becomes a $200 voucher temporarily a separate voucher? Nobody else seems to be having trouble with this - I keep re-reading it and can't make it make sense.

        • eVoucher value will be boosted from $20 to $100, when you redeem it towards pre-ordering the latest smartphone series device unveiled at the Jan 2025 Samsung Australia Unpacked event.

Pre-order boosted value offer valid from 5:00AM AEDT 23 Jan to 13th Feb 2025. After this period, the value of the eVoucher will revert to its original value of $20.

        • +2

or is the $100 voucher that becomes a $200 voucher temporarily a separate voucher?

exactly. the main link in this deal goes to the $100 voucher - that becomes $200

and you can opt to buy a $20 voucher that becomes a $100 voucher.

So you will have two vouchers after all that.

  • Payment for $20 is never going through, no error. 🙁

  • Anyone planning to upgrade from an S22U? The battery life of mine is dying real quick

    • na, im keeping my base s22 - it still works fine, why would i bother.

    • I am. Same issue with battery.
Sometimes it's at 5-10% and then as soon as I put it on wireless charger, it goes to 0 straightaway and dies.

    • I will be, didn't bother with the 24U but this looks enticing enough. Battery is good though, I do try to look after it. I charge it up, but don't leave it plugged in over night.

  • $20 eVoucher…Been trying for the past 3 hours and still getting that error message -_-

Granted, i'm using my reward points to redeem it but live chat and phone support just say to keep spamming the button T-T

Have tried credit card and also Samsung Pay, so I don't think it's an issue specifically with using points to redeem

    • How many points for $20¿

    • How did you end up using your points? I have 2100 points but there is no option to use at checkout. There even something that says at checkout "dont forget to use your points…." but when I click on that it takes me to the rewards page and it says there are no points to convert even though I have enough for purchase. Do you need to convert them first somehow?

      • I still haven't!

        Their checkout system is fubar'd

Tried again today and this time the continue to payment button is greyed out…

First two days it was payment error and then cannot deliver to the address T-T

Tried on both Edge and Chrome, so doubtful it was browser issue, disabled extensions etc etc the live chat answer is try again in a couple days >.<

      • +1

On the FAQs it says you cannot redeem rewards to buy evoucher.

Can I use Samsung Rewards points to purchase the eVoucher?

Samsung Rewards points may not be used to purchase the eVoucher, only upfront payment will be accepted towards the purchase of the eVoucher.

        • +1

          Thank you♪

        • Thanks, Samsung live chat also confirmed that rewards is only for product purchases not discount vouchers. Also for anyone wondering, I also asked about loyalty vouchers they say cannot generate until after the s25 series is released (assuming the voucher is for s25 series purchases)

  • When we trade-in, can we leave the device in Samsung store instead of post it to Asurion?

    • +3

No, tried that a few years ago at Syd George St. store,

    • No way asurion is not samsung, they are far worsts

  • do you receive any email after sign up?
and how long until they send the voucher after purchase $20?
    Thanks

    • Next day

  • has anyone faced any problem when buying the voucher ?

  • +2

Year on year during this time, without fail, there is a problem with the Samsung website when completing an order for the upcoming event

  • Purchased the voucher from Samsung app and used guest checkout. All went smoothly.

    • Have you received the code?

  • huh people buying the vouchers already without knowing the products or the prices of the real items?
what if there is nothing to buy ? can we fully refund $20 ?

    • It is $20 for $20 of voucher from Samsung. If you buy the new release product it is worth $100.

You have 3 years to use it so won't be hard for people to buy something.

      • -3

hmm im 99% sure i wont be buying anything from samsung again from now.
yes bought a lot in the past but i think they have patched all the loopholes (like the secret sale + 7 vouchers stacks)

        • +4

then dont buy this voucher. what is the problem?

  • hmm they said unique but in the past sometimes its just generic code

    • it doesn't say unique anywhere, says a generic $200 code.

  • +1

Guessing checkout is getting hammered, could not process payment now saying unfortunately, we cannot deliver in your area at this time.

Edit - order gone through, had to process checkout on my phone

  • +1

Facing the same issue with unfortunately, we cannot deliver in your area at this time.

doens't work on PC and phone :( how to overcome ?

    • That's my error, can't deliver in your area. A code via email can't be delivered to me? Will try later I guess….

      • I had the same error. Did it through the Samsung shop all and worked straight away

  • hard to judge if this is a good deal. Are the prices on the estore cheap enough with $200 off

  • +2

    download samsung shop app
goto offers, add $20 coupon to cart
    checkout as guest
    should work

    • Thank you for sharing that tip! worked like a charm

    • +1

Is the code tied to account or is a voucher code ?
