  How do these TCL TVs compare with the likes of LG, Samsung and Sony? Curious to how these perform at ~ half the price of the more premium brands./

  My last experience with TCL was with their cheaper end of the line up ~ 5 years ago, and it wasnt good. But I also know that some of the Chinese manufacturers have a range that goes anywhere from cheap junk to quite premium, and my experience may not reflect what these models have to offer.

    Are they better than Samsung, Sony, LG? No. Are they significantly worse? Also no.

    What and when did you order? Wouldn't sweat it too much. If you're lucky, you can contact the store you ordered from and show them the price difference and see if they can help you out at all. Read yesterday someone did this with a TV from JB and got same cash back.

      I got it from JB Hifi a day before for the same price after the 10% storewide discount. Missing out on Cashrewards. I don't think JB would do anything regarding Cashrewards cashback.

  My quick review of this TV, after one day:
  - size does matter, love the extra screen real estate
  - picture quality is good, but I think picture settings need adjustment out the box. Reddit has some suggestions
  - sound is better than expected for a TV. But i'll still be hooking it up to my external speakers
  - Google TV was a PITA to set up, it wouldn't let me log in via my phone / Google Home app - tried repeatedly, kept failing. So had to type in login details manually
  - overall navigation response is MUCH laggier than I'd expect for a TV in 2024. Will be sticking to my Apple TV for smarts.
  - Remote control buttons have a horrible click to them.
