  • Is this better as a monitor?

    • I highly recommend you don't buy this TV for any reason. also its Full HD ( 1080x1920 ).. not 1440P or 4k..

32" Full HD is really bad for anything but movies, youtube and maybe some gaming

    • absolutely not

I have the 42" version of this same T96Q TV

The picture quality is horrible but whats worse is the built in CPU/Hardware is shocking and way too slow.
Everything runs at max 24/32FPS and is a blurry mess.

Connecting a Amazon Fire stick Max 4k fixes the frame rate issue and everything jumps back up to a very smooth 60FPS but unfortunately the VA Panel on this thing is just trash, motion blur, washes out colours and bad viewing angles. My brother couldn't be bothered returning it as it was just a spare TV for a guest room.

No idea were the sourced this VA panel from but it's completely unacceptable for a 2024/2025 model TV. You will find better on the cheap $250 Aldi alternatives
Also I'm not exaggerating. 100% avoid at all costs try and get one of the IPS alternatives they sell.

  • Can this be formatted and a different operating system installed?

    • +1

      why would you even bother?

    • Even if you could. The hardware is trash. You get faster CPUs in $49 mobile phones
