What will stop me getting my cashback:

  • You must empty your Amazon cart prior to clicking from TopCashback. Failure to do so will result in an untracked purchase, and claims will not be approved.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of gift cards, vouchers, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals, bulk orders, commercial or reseller purchases.
  • Cashback is ineligible if using any Amazon credit as partial or full payment. However cashback is eligible if using Amazon gift cards or gift card balance as payment.
  • Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders are ineligible for cashback (only first Subscribe & Save orders are eligible).
  • Cashback is ineligible if using any codes entered manually in the 'Promo Code' field.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.

What else is essential:

  • Cashback is eligible if using a gift card or Amazon gift card balance as payment.

  • Pre-orders are eligible for cashback provided they are scheduled for shipment within 60 days of purchase, however they may not track to your account until shipped.

  • Always return to TopCashback and click through via the pink cashback button to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.

Good to know:

  • Purchases from Amazon US/UK are ok, provided you navigate & make the transaction via Amazon AU.
  • If you cancel / return / exchange / modify your completed order, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

Tips:

  • Amazon tracking typically takes 24 hours (but can take up to 7 days) to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant).
  • For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, and avoid browsers such as Brave.
  • Close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites after clicking from TopCashbackAU as tracking will be lost. TopCashbackAU must be your last click (not 3-Camels etc).

    Hi, are items from Amazon Germany fine as long as we use the Amazon AU website?

      Basically Germany would be same. Essentially any seller/shipper is same as long as checkout via Amazon AU portal.

      If you're referring to a mobile browser redirecting to the Amazon app, then yes that's ok. As is Android TCB app to Amazon app. iOS TCB app on the other hand won't redirect and stays within it's confines. Hope this helps.

    On my mobile opens amazon app is that okay to be tracked?

    Shopback/cashrewards have better implementation rather than using whatever browser is set to default

    I'm just wondering, items that have a particular extra discount that you click redeem for and they say "save x amount promo code", do they count as amazon credit? Would they invalidate the cashback?

  • Remember most BF deals are free returns til end of Jan, so if you buy and don't like, you can send it back for amazon credit - I assume you will still get the cashback

  • This time I use my mobile phone (iPhone) opens the Topcashback App -> click at the Black Friday deal in the app -> the built-in browser in Topcashback App is launched. I login to my Amazon account (already clear the cart to be empty before opened the Topcashback App) -> search for t he SD card and add to the card. It is imported from Amazon Japan (hopefully it's ok). -> pay from my credit card instead of apple pay that I got the issue with Flexiroam sim card deal last time -> got an email confirmation from Amazon.

    That was 5 hours ago. Still no email from Topcashback to notify the purchase has been tracked.

  • I purchased something from Amazon through TopCashback a few hours ago, but it hasn’t been tracked yet. However, I just bought a Boost Mobile plan, and that was tracked immediately. Is this normal? I’m a bit concerned and don’t want to miss out on my Amazon cashback :( @tightarse fyi

      Hi. It's probably the 10th time I've mentioned this in the post. Please see first dot point of the tips in the OP. Amazon and Boost are two totally separate beasts that use different tracking technology. Not all retailers report at the same time. Hope this helps. Cheers.

    To maximise the 20% cashback with a limit of $30, you'd need to have a cumulative spend at least $150.

  • If I purchase an item thats $100 with a $50 gift card balance together, does the 20% account for the $100 in total or does it take 20% from the $50 cash value only?

  • @tightarse I order something around $140 and then cancelled one item about $60, reordered a $98 item later. Item cancel seems failed, I need to return it. Does the $30 cap still work for the remains items which is total around $178?
    After reading the op tips, I cancelled the whole order and ordered one I need again.

      Credit means these promotional credit, like the one you get from purchase amazon giftcard direct from amazon. It is seperate from giftcard balance. If you are using giftcard balance, you will be fine.

  • Oh wow, I guess I missed the boat on top cashback, didn't TA was store rep. Gave up on cashbacks after most don't track and the shopback breach. Just saw the rep tag and said to myself 'fool me once…'

  • I rarely use TCB, but I just downloaded the android app.
    Will I get app notification and/or email notification once it's tracked?

    Also, I opened the account last BF and just realised that the $10 signup bonus was declined!
    It does not say why it was declined. Not very informative at all..

    • You needed to make a certain spend amount in a certain time period to get that bonus (I think it was $30 of cashback).

    • Not a silly question. I forgot they had an app. Logged into browser on phone, clicked Amazon link and it load Amazon app. After buying I realised that it may not track browser to Amazon app for purchases, so I'm wondering if what I did will get tracked but I'm doubting it. Happy to be wrong.

  • Out of curiosity, has anyone been having a run of bad luck with any of their orders not being tracked? It's been hit and miss lately where I've now logged 3 cases with a couple of weeks. I've not changed the process in which I make purchases.

    • Personally my experience with TCB hasn’t been good with tracking.

      Only a few purchases since signing up and mostly issues to follow up. So I don’t use TCB unless it’s for deals like this. Hopefully it works well this time, but I think it’s the least reliable of tbe CB sites

  • Be patient, guys, it is coming. I guess they were waiting for the 20% cap $30 finished. They combine all eligible orders together, easy to calculate. I made 2 orders last night, it just popped up, but combined both order total, and $30 cashback.

    • My calculated total just dropped in and seems to be ~$60 short of spent amount… hopefully gets recalculated and sorted.

      I ordered yesterday morning around 7am. Hadnt tracked when i checked around the same time this morning, but checked again just now and tracking has come through.

    My order from last night has tracked. Took about 13 hours. It's tracked on the Earnings page but not in the order of time. I couldn't see it at first as I made several other purchases.
