Amazon AU: 20% Cashback on All Categories (Capped at $30 Per Member) @ TopCashback AU

12541

Hi everyone, and a happy Black Friday! Here's a cracker deal to help with your shopping. Please peruse our site as we have heaps of other upsizes across this Cyber weekend. Don't forget our Highest Cashback Guarantee where we'll beat competitors rates. Promo terms & tips are below so please ensure you read them prior to shopping.

Remember to clear your cart prior to clicking/tapping from Amazon on TCB, and always generate a new click for each new transaction (for any retailer).

Kindly note we're testing a new reporting format for this promo only. When your order tracks (1-7 days), you won’t receive the usual multiple transactions in your earnings page. They will instead all be bundled into one cashback total. Cashback is capped at $30 in total per member account. Deal ends 23:59 AEDT.

Thanks for your support as always 🙏
Stay safe, and enjoy 😊

What will stop me getting my cashback:

  • You must empty your Amazon cart prior to clicking from TopCashback. Failure to do so will result in an untracked purchase, and claims will not be approved.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of gift cards, vouchers, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals, bulk orders, commercial or reseller purchases.
  • Cashback is ineligible if using any Amazon credit as partial or full payment. However cashback is eligible if using Amazon gift cards or gift card balance as payment.
  • Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders are ineligible for cashback (only first Subscribe & Save orders are eligible).
  • Cashback is ineligible if using any codes entered manually in the 'Promo Code' field.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.

What else is essential:

  • Cashback is eligible if using a gift card or Amazon gift card balance as payment.
  • You must start with an empty cart prior to clicking through to Amazon.
  • Pre-orders are eligible for cashback provided they are scheduled for shipment within 60 days of purchase, however they may not track to your account until shipped.
  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • Always return to TopCashback and click through via the pink cashback button to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.

Good to know:

  • Purchases from Amazon US/UK are ok, provided you navigate & make the transaction via Amazon AU.
  • If you cancel / return / exchange / modify your completed order, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

Tips:

  • Amazon tracking typically takes 24 hours (but can take up to 7 days) to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant).
  • For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, and avoid browsers such as Brave.
  • Close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites after clicking from TopCashbackAU as tracking will be lost. TopCashbackAU must be your last click (not 3-Camels etc).
  • Try our iOS/Android mobile app for improved tracking results.
  • Use our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

Previously cancelled is fine. It's just the recurring ones that are ineligible.

  • What’s the difference between Amazon credit and gift card balance? Which one does the 10% off deal days ago falls into?

    • +6

the 10% deal was gift card balance

credit is if amazon randomly give you $5 or whatever

      • Thanks mate!

  • +1

Is this eligible on third party sellers or only if shipped and sold by Amazon?

  • Makes me, a stubborn CR only user, want to try something new..
Any sign up offer to seal the deal ta? :p

  • Where do you see if your click registered?

    • +6

All your clicks are in the back-end but 'hidden' from you. What you see here is the very last click you make to any given retailer. If you really need/want to see all the clicks you've made, you can see them here by simulating a cashback claim. Hope this helps.

  • +2

Hi TA, do the amazon coupons that give a discount when clicked count as amazon credit hence making the cashback invalid?

    Thanks.

    • Or do they count as ‘a code not approved by TCB’ also making the CB invalid

    • I’d like to know too thx

    • @tightarse any ideas on this one?

    • +1

I believe manually inputted codes at the checkout only are the ones that invalidate CB. Happy to be corrected tho, in the past iirc has worked for me by clicking Redeem or ticking box. As long as not manually inputting at checkout

      • Logic says you’re right. But confirmation would be good prior to purchase.

  • +1

Is Sold by third party but shipped by Amazon ok? Or does it need to be sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon?

    • I'm also curious about this one. Didn't see anything obvious in the conditions.

  • What if item is on amazon au but sent and supplied by amazon uk? Is that ok?

  • I'm an idiot and purchased an item twice (in separate orders).
Cancelled the second order a couple of minutes after it was made.

Do I miss out on some of the cashback? Or will the next order be calculated?

    e.g.
    Purchase 1: $30
    Purchase 2: $30
    Purchase 3: $50
    Purchase 4: $60
    Purchase 5: $20

Say I cancelled purchase 1, will purchase 5 be calculated?

    • Would like to know this too!
      @tightarse

In my case, ordered 3 items e.g. $30, $20, $100. If I cancel the $100 item will I have another $100 to spend to reach the $30 cap?

      • +2

Can't say with certainty because if Amazon tracks the cancelled order to us, it creates an issue as we're not to know at our end that it's cancelled. If on the other hand Amazon doesn't push it through to us, then you're good to go. That's as clear as I can make it unfortunately.

    • I was wondering the exact same thing.
Or if one of the purchases is ineligible will the next in line be used?

  • Welcome back my friend TA!

    Great deal

20% on all categories including Video Games, Consoles and Accessories?

  • Hey TA, the codes on Green Gadgets are coming up as not valid. Can you check in on them (and maybe ask for a Black Friday deal) -thanks!

    • Thanks. These look like old codes. Now removed.

  • Confused as to the difference between Amazon 'credit' and Amazon gift cards? How are they different?

    • +2

Credit is from promos like spend 100 get 10 dollars, or buy a gift card get 5 dollars etc. gift card is just that, you buy Amazon gift card.

      • Ahh that makes sense. Thank you!

      • Do you know if a discount on an item that you click the x amount off for counts as a coupon or credit or neither?

  • hey TA, is items marked as temporarily out of stock eligible or considered as pre-orders?

    Temporarily out of stock.
Order now and we'll deliver when available. We'll e-mail you with an estimated delivery date as soon as we have more information. Your account will only be charged when we ship the item.

Looking to get this item on Amazon AU. Would this be eligible for cashback?

    Sold by CONNETIX

  • Is the 15% completion discount for baby wishlist items eligible as well?

    • This is an interesting one @tightarse, I've seen it excluded from some rival cashback offers before but I can't see it mentioned here

    • Hey @tightarse are you able to check on this one please?

  • Is it ok to pay with Amazon credit (from gift card) only in part?

  • Any idea if this includes cashback on annual prime memberships?

    • Read the section below "What will stop me getting my cashback:"

  • +5

Tightarse bringing the heat with a complication-free, no nonsense deal and showing Cashrewards and Shopback how its done! As usual 😊 Thanks mate!

  • Moto G54 5G that was $246 is now price jacked for anyone who wants to know.

  • is the $30 cap, per transaction, or total per member??

  • Does it work with Amazon second hand too?

  • Does this term and condition mean my cashback will be eligible as long as I make one S&S order during this promotion even if I have ordered it in the past as a S&S on my amazon account?
Also wouldn't every category be eligible since this promo is for every category?

    • Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders are ineligible for cashback (only first Subscribe & Save orders in eligible categories are eligible).
  • I was going to purchase last night using gift card but decided to wait, hoping for some sort of cashback today. Not only 20% but gift card eligible for payment! Fantastic, thanks TA.

  • +1

hey @tightarse, which of these are the current rates once we hit the 20% $30 member cap?

    • +2

Hi. Neither. Once you hit the $30 cap, that's it for today. Cheers.

      • thanks

    • 20 votes less for those 2 posts. No wonder I missed them. Been waiting for the upsized cashback for Amazon devices for a while. Sigh!

  • -2

Any more incentive such as buy $30 get extra $5 cb, TA ?

  • +2

Does "Cashback is ineligible on … reseller purchases" mean that if it is not fulfilled by Amazon, it is not eligible?

  • +2

Does "empty cart" include items that you have in there as "saved for later" ? And i specifically mean that the item i am about to claim cashback on is NOT in the saved for later list, but i have a whole bunch of other stuff in there. Do i need to clear it too?

    • I would like to know this also. Can we use the items from "saved for later" bucket? @tightarse

  • dot#2 Cashback is ineligible on… bulk orders - is 2-3 of the same items considered as bulk?

  • $30 cap would be perfect for bose solo soundbar but unlucky oos

  • hey @tightarse, will this 20% cashback also apply to Amazon international delivery, for example a product dispatch and sold by Amazon UK, but purchased via Amazon AU app?

    • Should as long as buying through Amazon AU website from past experiences but could have changed.

  • +2

For those that took up the Amazon Gift Card offer and haven't made a purchase since, be careful of the promo credit being automatically applied at checkout.

Maybe TA can confirm but I believe this would invalidate the cashback.

I made a small purchase first to use the promo credit and then made a larger purchase for the cashback just in case. Great promo though, thanks team!

  • Is it applicable to all items?

  • Thanks TA, I am not sure it will track to be honest due to this - Cashback is ineligible if using any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.

I only realised $15 credit had been used afterwards Annoying!

    • Gift card credit or something else?

However cashback is eligible if using Amazon gift cards or gift card balance as payment.

      • Credit for buying a gift card ($10) plus $5 for adding a new payment card. I didnt know you could unselect the credit I made a 200+ purchase but not sure if worth cancelling and reordering now

        • I would.

  • Hey TA, thanks for posting the deal!

    Reading the terms it mentions:

"Cashback is ineligible if using any codes entered manually in the 'Promo Code' field."

I was wondering if this Buy More & Save deal is different since it doesn't require you to manually enter any promo code. It's just Spend a certain amount e.g. $40 and get 5% off automatically.

Was wondering if this will still qualify for cashback?

    • would like to know this as well @tightarse

  • Anyone confirm that video game accessories like a headset are eligible?

    • All categories.

        Thanking you

Now to see if buying from Amazon Germany via Amazon AU works

It says US & UK but nothing else

        Hmmmm

  • @tightarse You're still the one.

      (You're still the one) 🎵

      • 🤣

  • The problem: nothing to buy

  • +1

Amazon gave me a $10 off discount (didn't have to enter a code) to my item. Will I still be eligible for cashback?

    • +1

      No you won't

      • source?

        • +1

The credit that chat give you has always invalidated cashback

    • +1

If it's an auto applied voucher (like you clicked Redeem or ticked voucher on the product page) they are usually ok.

If it's promo credit (the type you can't see until checkout for Amazon sold and supplied items) then I thought cashback was calculated on the rest of the payment amount but may be wrong, T&C's say cashback is ineligible.

  • +1

Hi Op, did purchased at 8am via Android TopCashback apps to AZ apps. normal purchase with CC payment. Still haven't received any tracking notification. How do i know if this is tracked before it's too late? doing Top Cashback has been hit or miss

    • Same here.

      • I'm following - haven't heard anybody confirming tracks yet, so may well be a normal delay.

        • i made order around 10am, still waiting as well.

  • +1

Can I split this across multiple transactions over the day?

  • I just signed up in TopCashBack and straight away bought something in Amazon before verifying my email in TopCashBack. I'm not sure if my order is going to be tracked for cashback! :)

    • +1

I have received other cashbacks before I had verified my email address. I think its a requirement to withdraw any funds rather than track cashback.

    • +1

No issues there. You can verify later.

  • +2

Does the cashback cap apply per TCB account or per Amazon account? I.e. Can we utilise two different TCB accounts but purchase under the same Amazon account and have x2 $30 caps?

  • Can I use my partners Topcash account to purchase with my Amazon Account? if I've already made 1 purchase today?

    • That sounds highly illegal. But I'll allow it.

  • +1

Is an XBox game pass code from Amazon Media AU eligible?

@tightarse Amazon is giving me $15 coupon code for Nutribullet Blender and if I click redeem in the product page, will it invalidate the cashback ? Please note I am not manually entering the coupon code in checkout. It’s getting automatically applied at checkout

    • No. If you can use that credit anywhere ellse, it's no.

  • +2

If I have items 'saved for later' and add that to the cart, will that track?

    • +1

Not recommend doing it that way from what I learnt. Make a few more clicks to secure the tracking and save the hassle later.

    • +1

Rather than asking, to be safe, i always copy name, delete from list, and re-search that item. They need the unique added to cart clicking history for tracking to work.

      • This is really annoying after making a set of purchases from my saved cart history. What a shame. Is there anyway to make an equiry on this if it doesnt track?

        • +1

No. Its in the T&C. Its not that hard to retype/pasting in what you had in your cart, to save the hassle

          • +1

@noelhoi: You're probably right, but I just went off the criteria listed on the deal saying you must empty your Amazon cart prior to clicking from TopCashback. Failure to do so will result in an untracked purchase, and claims will not be approved… which I did. None of the items were in the cart, they were in 'save for later' and then i added them all into the cart after going through the cashback link

            • @Bahrgain Victorious: Hmm I thought it’s usually outlined on the term, it doesn’t say there in this particular thread. I just assumed from past experience that that’s still the case. How about cancelling your current order and redoing it to be sure?
