      That's what I got: "Your gift card balance can’t be applied to orders that contain other Amazon.com.au gift cards."

      FWIW the $10 Amazon credit from the $200 Amazon GC can be used to towards the purchase of other GCs (eg. Harris Farm)

      They changed it a while back so you can no longer do this.

      It was good when you could use discount Prepaid credit cards to purchase 10% discounted Amazon credit (via cashrewards/shopback whenever they had a promo) and double up on an Amazon promo for third party gift cards.

      the code only works for Amazon GCs. You don't need it for the other cards, the discount comes off at checkout

          Doubt the limit has been reached. Have you entered the code twice by accident? It’s a common issue on Amazon system to not recognise the code again (seeing the same comment every time there’s a similar deal like this gets posted on here)

          Best way to check is open the Amazon webpage via desktop mode and there should be additional lines at right hand side of the checkout page that reads:

          Qualifying offers:
          Gift card fest deal

          I can confirm the code is still valid as at 1:07am

      You will get $10 credited to your account after the purchase of $200 Amazon Gift Cards.
      After some time you will get the following email: "Thanks for purchasing $200 or more of Amazon.com.au Gift Cards. In accordance with the promotional terms, we have now automatically applied a $10 promotional credit to your account which will automatically be applied to your next purchase of eligible item(s) shipped and sold by Amazon AU.
      The promotional credit must be used by 30 September 2025."

          It has nothing to do with GST. Giving extra on something instead of selling cheaper is just the usual dilusive way of discount that give you a sensation of 5% off.

          Using $190 to buy $200 is 5%off. Using $200 to buy $210 will dilute the 5%, because you are spending the extra $10 to get $10

      Just bought it and worked. You likely entered the code twice, first time you didn't proceed to checkout and second time when you actually wanted to pay it thinks you already redeemed it.

    Be careful with the promotional credit, it has expiry date about a year from now, and, if you order eligible item and used the $10 credit, it is not refundable upon cancellation or return of the item. Might be able to get it back if chat with customer service, hopefully that person is kind enough to reinstate the credit.

      I don't think there would be many on OzB who wouldn't be buying something at least to the value of $10 sold and shipped by Amazon AU within 12 months.

      But in any case, you need to use it by 30 Sept 2025

      Might be able to get it back if chat with customer service, hopefully that person is kind enough to reinstate the credit.

      I always get my promo credit reinstated for refunds. 100% success rate, they want you off the chat or phone quickly so they will bend over backwards. If not, try the next CS rep. Or use it on something there would be no risk of you returning it, you can choose whether you want promo credit applied to an order or not.

    Is it over? I can't apply promo nor do I get a "qualifying offer" section on the checkout page?

    UPDATE: After spending an hour with a rep on support chat, they said they will apply it for me if I order while they wait. Anti-climax, once I placed the order I got the promo credit automatically. So just poorly designed systems by Amazon.
