    Wanted 2 - One for each parent (they're old, and like to have the same phone, so they can hand-hold each other tech wise).

    Noticed the deal went live about 2 minutes early, so purchased when '102 sold' (so I assume early).
    Purchased one on card, and one on paypal.

    Both showed up in purchase history.
    Both have now been deleted from purchase history.
    Scummy practice, and I am sad. I thought I'd finally managed a great christmas gift.

    Got an Ebay Plus trial for this - previously had ebay plus I let lapse - this is BS. If you get bother to set yourself up to buy it on the second it comes live, coupon code in hand, paypal/credit card ready and verified - then you get an email of successful purchase - it should be honoured.

        Ebay should impose fines for that.
        I've worked somewhere that used to leverage ebay; you can literally set your stock numbers so that can't happen.

          I suspect the error is on eBay's part.

          My guess at what happened is payments were getting stuck (potentially because of the high volume of purchases).
          Because the transaction wasn't complete, others were allowed to continue buying and using the code.
          Once the system was allowed to catch up, it would fail all transactions beyond allocated number of coupon uses.
          It seems some order payments were processed (at random) which is why it's not the first-in orders which are being fulfilled.

    Signed up for $10 first year eBay plus for this deal. Ordered @ 10.00am. payment "failed" email few minutes later. Order gone. Never happened.

        I refreshed the page within about 30 seconds of it starting on eBay. (Would of been faster though I also thought the code will be on Ozbargain)

        On PC i would use a clock which counts the seconds and pre-fire F5 hasn't failed me before 😂

      Sad to other people cancellations. I also got the confirmation email from eBay at 10:06. I didn't bother to change the postage fee and looks like bribery paid off itself.

      I can see the money deducted from my CC which I specifically registered for this deal in eBay. I normally use PayPal.

    They knew very well these would fly off the shelves. The long delivery time makes me think they don't even have any in stock right now. Who knows if they will ever get them?
