No don’t have Supercheap Auto deal.
Nulon Fusion 5W-30 full synthetic $29.99. Much cheaper option for most non euro cars.
Have always used Castrol. Is Nulon full synthetic equally good?
Any modern oils with the correct specifications don't have major differences and all work OK. API SN is a newer rating than SL so has some improvements.
API SL - outdated, paying $10/L for this is a very poor choice. You guys have been fooled by BPs marketing.
Which one would you recommend?
Well its not a bad oil as it has official BMW/VW/MB approvals, but I would still recommend something with API SP or ILSAC GF-6. Or ACEA C3/C4 for diesels. There are much better alternatives that are made (or blended) in Australia and cheaper:
Nulon Fusion 5W-30 API SN for $30: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/878890
or Nulon Apex+ 5W-30 API SP for $35: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/871694
Penrite HPR-5 5W-40: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/875259
Penrite Enviro+ GF-S 5W-30: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/865220

Even Castrol sells better oils for this price (Edge 5w40, Edge LL 5w30, Magnatec), but I recommend the Australian stuff for obvious reasons.
This oil is only worth buying at $35 and below. Picked up Mobil 5w50 for $51 the other day which is in an entirely different league.
Used to be few years ago. Looks like $45 is the new $35.
Don't think it gets cheaper than this, unless you stack it Cashback.

Always pricebeat.
With Repco or Autobarn?
please check your CBA yello account, you may have a 15$ cashback 100$ spent (probably targeted).
