    ATL appears to be $134.

    Close, but no cigar.

$1.70 - Just enough for a 7Eleven coffee and a taste of victory!

      • +4

Whoops. For some reason I thought your price was 136 or something. This appears to be the ATL 😁

  • +1

is this one good for teams meeting and calls?

      • Really no mic??? Thats a surprise

        • yeah not sure myself but looked at the description section and it says "Dual Noise Canceling Microphones for Crystal-Clear Calls"
Can anyone else confirm if this is true or not??

          • +1

@wol1: Of course has mic…. not the boom mic but just small mic. Just check youtube reviews…

          • +2

@wol1: It has a mic. I use it all the time for work calls. Does a fair decent job too.

      • +5

Incorrect. So incorrect. Aeropex, openrun, openrun pro, and openrun pro 2 all have mics

    • +1

No, these are meant for using while exercising.

They'll work to take calls, but shouldn't be your first choice unless you plan on taking calls while you are running/exercising.

    • +1

I have the Aeropex when the brand was still called Aftershokz, and the mic is okay. Serviceable, but I wouldn't rely on it. Some people say I sound buzzy, or tinny, compared to my webcam mic.

  • I think I saw a $10 sign up discount too. Must resist buying another set of headphones…….

    • Doesn't stack.

  • +1

There's no competition for pool swimming music. The openswim pro 2 are perfect gym all rounders. Hopefully they fixed the battery swelling issue on the first iteration

    • I was just looking into this.. what timing to make a hole in my wallet. How do most people deal with the need to download and upload MP3s onto it?

I've been on spotify for the longest time, I don't think I have any MP3 files anymore. It'd be nice if I could download my spotify playlists easily.

      • The opposite, i never paid spotify or any streaming services. I loads mp3

      • The issue is water very effectively blocks bluetooth signal. Every time you duck your head you will loose signal. I DIYed my own bluetooth headphones using a bluetooth 3.5mm dongle & I had to put the bluetooth dongle on the top of my cap to keep it mostly out of the water for it to be usable.

I eventually just sealed a mp3 player & used that.

      • If you google spotify to MP3 then you can find loads of websites that will kind of download the MP3s for you. They rely on other music services such as YouTube and Deezer to work. It mostly works. If you only want it for swimming or phone less runs then just get the cheaper openswims

    • They don't have an openswim 2 Pro yet right? (seems to be like just openrun pro 2)

  • +1

If only somehow the band can be adjustable so its not dangling it will be percect. Like flush to each person head/hair.

    • +1

That's what the "mini" version is for.

They're essentially the same, just with a slightly shorter band.

There is a measurement that you can do to tell if the mini will fit you.

I dont know how why they call themself bone conducting when people sit next to you can hear (slight) sound. I mean if truly bone then it ill be 100pct no sound leaks.

This is a tiny speaker headset.

    • +2

You seem to misunderstand what bone conducting actually entails.

  • Thanks, good prices on the Open Run Pro

  • +1

I currently have the Openrun pro, but have had the openrun & aeropex. While the pro are advertised as having the best sound quality (not sure as I rarely use them for music), I find they are much worse for use in noisy environments, traffic, etc. The other models were much better in this regard, with the aeropex being the best…

Wondering if anyone else has this issue ?, as I am considering buying a pair of openrun's for this reason (or possibly trying another brand) ??…

  • @Gravitech do you have a deal for the Opencomm?
    Thanks.

    • +3

Hey Averell, thank you for asking. We do! See here

However, to be transparent and in the spirit of OzBargain there are few sellers undercutting us on this model online so as much as we would love to service you, I would recommend comparing prices first as you may find it cheaper.

      Best wishes,
      Travis

I have tested a few Shokz, most of them sound OK for the purpose they serve, but Shokz OpenFit (not Air version). This one actually sounds VERY GOOD. It's very similar to the BOSE SoundSport. Since they sit ON your ears and not inside, you don't even realize you have earbuds on most of the time (Super comfy + lets you use 1 bud only, so its great for those listening to music/podcast whilst wanting to keep focus on their surrounding.

  • +1

    Before buying measure your head.

For many adults you will find that the mini are actually the perfect fit (yes, even for adult males) which then means less dangling cord before the head.

    https://shokz.com.au/blogs/news/openrun-vs-openrun-mini-find…

These are awesome for running though. Can't see myself ever moving back to traditional earphones for exercise.

  • So many options, which one to choose for a noob? Looking for bone conduction headphones for running.i assume openrun version and mini version if my head fits?

    • Spot on. Can't go wrong with either.

  • Whats the sound quality on the Openrun Pro vs the (not on sale) Openrun Pro 2?
