From someone who’s spent a fair bit of time in the penalty box, I just call people “penalty box words” instead of the actual word. Keeps me a free man lol.
Ozbargain does seem to be more tolerant of diverse opinions. But if you think Whirlpool is bad, try Reddit :-)

@bargaino: Thing is, I never even used Penalty Box words when I was there. Never got up anyone, never posted anything over-the-top, was always more moderate than any moderator. But when I noticed that some of my posts vanished for no apparent reason, I asked about it. Politely.
Even my most polite enquiry was treated with a certain trace of hostility, even disdain, which took me aback. When I queried the reply, I got an even more hostile response. So, yeah, I got angry. And that was the end of that.
Not impressed.
Haven't joined Reddit. Some of the posts I've seen don't strike me as all that mature.
