      • No I don't, used to see it on my old Oppo but not on the Motorola.
I've checked through all the settings and it's just not there.
I'm thinking it's not enabled first the devices by Amaysim/Optus but can't find anyone else having the same issue.

        • Head into Sims and Mobile network settings. Turn on Automatically Select Network.

          • @hippo2s: Yeah, I've done all that, reset settings, on the online chat with Amaysim for an hour.
It's been escalated to their 2nd level support now.
I decided to buy an Everyday Mobile eSIM to test that and it works perfectly, so suggests a compatibility issue with Amaysim?

            • @BugsMeister: Did you fix this? I'm considering getting this phone for my son. But he has amaysim

  • Hmm… Anyone found Scheduled Power On / Off in settings? Please don't tell me they don't have it in Moto's OS.

  • So far…

NordVPN and Westpac apps are forgetting I enabled fingerprint login.

Anyone else come across others, or has same issue?

    • Had the same with Westpac, I changed to using a PIN as it was getting annoying…

      • Good idea. Will do the same.

Motorola edge 50 neo - Poinciana PB310020AU on Bing Lee eBay sells at $318 after PLUS120 code, this code only works for eBay plus member.

    • Do I loose my OzB badge?

I'd rather pay the 10% more to avoid a red phone.

  • How good upgrade is it from my LG V30 Plus? Somehow I couldn't pay NFC recently. Does LG V30+ use 3G?

  • Is this a better phone than the G54?

    • +2

I'd say so. More RAM and more storage. believe it's a higher spec screen although it's smaller (whether that's good or bad is personal preference) and the battery is smaller.
This one has faster charging maybe?

  • Do not have ebay plus but my order just went through at $350. Maybe no longer required?

  • Any rugged case recommendatio for this phone ?

  • -1

    Wasnt it 200 recently?

    • Check the dates. This was posted 20/11.

  • Very happy with this phone, but have a couple of weird issues:
    - Microsoft Authenticator wont restore from cloud backup - have tried many times - gets stuck on "Restoring from backup…" after MFA prompt on old phone.
    - Samsung Galaxy smartwatch - pairs via bluetooth but the Galaxy app is stuck on "Finishing pairing…"

    • Microsoft Authenticator restore from cloud backup feature seems to be basicly broken and useless… I nealry locked myself out from my work accound because I expcted it to work :/

      • I did not think the restore worked for business accounts (they need to be unregistered and re-registered?) - that only personal accounts go over via cloud ?
I have restored to a different phone once before and all the personal ones restored OK.

I have 33 accounts set up in Authenticator, half of those are work ones :/

        • OK I figured it out - the "Moto Secure" settings were interfering with some applications.
Not sure which specific settings but likely either "Network protection" or "Protect from online scammers".

Once I disabled those, Authenticator has recovered from backup in under 1 minute (altho 15 / 33 accounts require further action as expected).

I suspect this feature was also causing issues with some other applications taking a long time to open / stuck on splash screen etc, which I think I saw mentioned above.

  • My wife already broke the screen eventhough it was in a "wallet" type case and protected all around. It fell out as she was grabbing her keys out of the her bag

Luckily it's just the screen, the digitiser is fine (for now)
