50% off Everyday Extra Annual Plan $35 for The First Year (Ongoing $70/Year, New & Returning Subscribers) @ Everyday Rewards

5500

Managed to confirm this with my mate who works at BIG W. A special offer for Black Orange Friday. I guess they are competing with OnePass 50% off.

I believe it'll start on Wednesday; my mate wasn't 100% sure, though.

Benefits include (copied from BargainsGrabber's deal):

  • 10% off one shop at Woolworths and Big W each month (up to $50 off at a time, exclusions apply)
  • 2x Everyday Rewards points on all shops (exclusions apply)
  • Free item from Woolworths every month

Deal terms and conditions:

To get an Everyday Extra annual plan half-price for your first year of Everyday Extra, sign up to an annual plan via your Everyday Rewards app or website. Offer is available from 00:01 (AEDT) 06/11/2024 to 23:59 (AEDT) 18/12/2024 and is for new subscribers or previous subscribers without a current active subscription only. You will be charged $35 for your first year to the payment card provided at time of sign up, and then $70 (the standard price of an annual subscription) for every year thereafter, unless you cancel your subscription. This offer can be redeemed in conjunction with the Everyday Extra Refer a friend incentive for eligible new and returning subscribers.

Update 5/11: Promo is now live.

Enjoy!

the code works anytime within that month. Just that the first order has to be online. The instore system aren't smart enough yet to catch the code use online. Thus when you go offline the next time, you get a prompt to use the 10% discount during checkout

        • awesome, thanks for this!

  • So just to confirm - I'm currently on an annual subscription til December.

Do I cancel my membership, and then I should see an option to renew at $35 for the annual subscription?

  • +4

Don't forget referral links everyone thanks for the post!

  • Is it worth the $35? The ‘free items’ from wollies is a small cheap item like a packet of chips, biscuits or a small chocolate bar

    • +2

Easily if you use the 10% off grocery feature and take the free items

  • +1

Re-signed at half price after I made sure I cancel my auto renewal at end of October this year.

  • offer available till 18th Dec, but my plan ends on 21st Dec :( what can I do?

    • I’m in the same boat as you :(

  • +2

I'd rather not put any monetary support behind Woolworths group, one of the most evil corporations in Australia

    • +4

Coles is far more evil in my view.

Can't leave the store without being barricaded in like a jail and there are barely any servers at the check out anymore.

Woolworths still has servers most of the time.

  • +5

I noticed woollies have changed the labels on everything in the aisles and sales/specials are nowhere near as clear/obvious/quick to read. For such a simple little thing i really really dislike it so much, its the worst thing they have done in over a decade IMO. Immediately i spent less at woolworths and more at Coles next door, by a big margin.

    • +1

My local has done this too, it's the pits.

  • On a side note, just went to cancel OnePass - and was offered to stay/renew for just $20 for the year rather than $40.

    • That deal is mentioned in the description for this deal - up top.

Is it right that double dip is over: shop online first and then in store?

    • +3

As I've just found out this month there's no double dipping.

      • Didn’t even know that was a thing, that’s a fail as an Ozbargainer.

        • +1

Hand in badge right now lol

  • can i just buy gift cards using this once per month for 10% off?

    • +1

pretty sure the discount doesn't include gift card items

  • I already get 10% off a month on woolies mobile, would I get an additional 10% off if I sign up?

    • Yes

    • +1

They don't stack but you can get another 10% off another shop that month

  • Anyone else observed that they are maybe using independent user identities for the everyday account I.e an app login and a web login for the same everyday account.

Could sign into app, but not web with same details. Not the first company to take this shortcut.

Had to do a pwd reset so that either did a fix, or both now have the same pwd regardless.

  • I got mine last year but with the 1 month trial, it expires mid Dec. I dont see an option to renew before that and likely this special wont last till then. Does anyone know a workaround?

    • When does your subscription expire? The half price offer is valid till 18 Dec.

    • Same here, but mine expires 3 days before this ends.

Thinking to cancel it soon coz they are still not offering me the half price deal 😔

      Next billing date
      15 December 2024 ($70/year)

    • Create a new account

  • i just cancelled my current subscription (ending on mid december), can i not get the 35 a year deal?

  • Can someone please explain step by step how I can get the renewal for Everyday Extra for $35? I apologise if this has been answered in earlier posts.

I checked my current subscription and it says:
"Your annual plan is $35 until 18 December 2024, then $70/year".

    • I get the same, it’s been updated to a targeted deal.

  • -1

Hi I signed up for Woolworths Extra last year. It says on the app "Your annual plan is $35 until 21 December 2024 then $70/year". Then beneath it, it says "Next billing date 21 December 2024 ($70/year).

Does anyone know if I will billed 35 or 70 for the next year of subscription? It's a bit confusing

    • +1

This doesn't seem too difficult to understand. You're on $35 now. It goes to $70 a year from 21st December 2024.

I was in the same boat. When I went through to cancellation page and started going through it, I was offered $35 for my renewal and then kept it. Maybe give that a go?

      • @jay889344 So just to confirm I understand this correctly as I'm in the same scenario, if I renew the current subscription (without cancelling) I will pay the $70 renewal fee.

However if I cancel the current subscription I will be offered the $35 renewal. Is this offer provided via email or via the app?

      • Where did you get the $35 offer? Was in the same boat and just cancelled but didn't receive a discounted offer.

      • +1

i tried it but didn't give me half price offer :(

  • My account says my next billing date is on the 19th December. Does that mean I am ineligble for the $35/year offer?

It looks like being offered a $35 renewal for cancelling is hit and miss…

  • +2

You need to have cancelled before the offer came out. Mine renews 23 March 2025 and I got the offer.

There is no reason to have your subscription on auto-renew since you can always sign back up and get immediate discounts. It is better to let it lapse for a few days to weeks, and only renew if there is a special that week.

    That's the ozbargain way.

    • Yeah I think that is correct, unfortunate for active subscribers..

is for new subscribers or previous subscribers without a current active subscription only

Same as the switch to bank for Xmas offers, where you need it to be turned off before the promo starts.

    • +1

Spitting hard truths. There's always a work-around. I'll try and cancel and send them an email asking to renew at the new amount.

      • Tell us how you go with that

  • +2

    ok I signed up
not really a fan of these subscriptions since they removed the online discount from mobile plan but this will easily pay off in a couple of orders

  • Hoping I can get on this $35 deal. My account was on $7 monthly payment (silly me) set to renew December 1st.

Do I have to wait until December 1 to attempt to renew at $35 annually?

  • Does it apply to Everyday/WW Market? I tried applying the voucher code there to no avail. Or is there a different way to do it?

  • If I'm already getting 1 X 10% off per month through Woolworths insurance, will this give me 2x 10% off per month?

    • +1

Yes, mine does: 10% off, twice a month.

  • Does the 10% off monthly grocery stack with Woolworths mobile offer. As in I would get 2x10% off in total if I join this?

    • +1

Also yes: 10% off, twice a month if you also have Woolworths mobile.

      • Right so in the rewards app it will reflect twice as well one form mobile another with this membership?

  • Just signed up today but won't get a 10% off shop until November which means in the final month I guess i only have half a month to use my 10% shop(as my sub expires 14th Dec next year).

I'd suggest signing up closer to end of month

    • Right so it starts the month after not the current month

  • +5

I have the $35 for the last year everyday extra subscription. I canceled 2 weeks before it expired for expectation to receive another year for $35 but during the last 2 weeks have been checking the extra reward button no offer has appeared until today, the $35 offer has appeared and I have until Wednesday 18 December to take up the offer. Hope this help to help whoever subscribed to previous $35 and have been checking the “Extra” icon in the “Rewards” app.

    • +1

Thanks @fishandchips for sharing this tip!

If I cancel on the 1 Dec will it be too late or do you think I would get the $35 offer to resubscribe? My current subscription also ends on the 18 Dec.

  • My half off everyday extra from last year's promo expired yesterday. Went to re-activate and sure enough, was offered half off for my 2nd year.

    • I'm feeling untargeted. 😢
Mine expires on 18/12 and shows renewal at $70

  • I notice there is also the Delivery unlimited deal but i cant see if that has any 10% discount, it sounds like it doesn't and this is the deal to get if you wanted the 10% discount?

  • +2

Looks like the trick of using one 10% online and then one in store no longer works. Sad 😞

  • +1

Sorry just to check, if I've never signed up before I can do the 30 day free trial then after that still get the $35 annual price?

    • +2

Yes - that's what I did last year.

    • Yup. That what I did
Regretting it now though. I signed up on 18/11. With the free month my renewal is now 18/12, so I can't get this offer as it expires on 18/12. Bummer

  • Pays for itself. Did this with the refer a friend and the 1800 points for 0.01 cent spend

  • great, thanks OP.

Made sure to use the referral link to. so hopefully one of you get your 1500 bonus points in a month.😁

  • The referral link from the app doesn’t work? Anyone is experiencing this?
I clicked on the link from the app but nothing happens

  • Does this stack with gift card ?

  • +1

FYI vouchers are per calendar month. Didn't realise when I signed up today I need to use or lose both 10% vouchers today.

    • I was about to come on here and ask that question. Im tossing up signing up today to start stocking up on christmas nibblies. Is there any free item for this month?

      • I didn't get any notification of a free item. Had a look through the Rewards app and can't see any.

    • Yes - I'm in the same boat - I didn't have enough time to take advantage of the 10% off a shop in November.

  • Damn. My sub expires 18/12 and it's showing renewal at $70.

    • Same.

  • I'm not sure what happened - I cancelled my subscriptions a week ago and get a message "Expires on 12 Dec", as expected, with a plan to use this offer on 13th. However, for some reason, it shows today "Expires on 12 Feb 2025".

Did they just added 2 months free so I could not use this offer and paid full price in Feb?

    • Yep they just sent this email

We are aware that you may have been impacted by the temporary supply issues we've experienced as a result of industrial action at our Distribution Centres. We acknowledge this is frustrating, and understand that you may not have been able to get the full value from your Everyday Extra subscription benefits at this important time of year. We're pleased to share that the industrial action has been resolved and we're working hard to restock our shelves as quickly as possible.

To apologise for the inconvenience, we’re giving you 2 free months on your annual plan. As you have requested that your plan does not auto-renew, this means your current subscription period will be extended until 18 March 2025.

You don't have to do anything. Your 2 free months will be automatically applied to your account.

    • +1

Bloody great, mine was expiring today so I planned on signing up with this offer as well but now with the extra 2 months I can't.

I'll make another account I guess.

  • If I sign up today do I still qualify? It will start with one month free trial before the subscription starts and this deal finishes tomorrow. So in a months time does it revert back to full price when it takes payment?

    • Interesting question, obviously it should charge you the deal price, but with woolworths, who knows? 🤷 At least there should be no jeopardy in trying out the free month and then seeing what it will charge you on 17/1/2025 and making a decision from there.

  • -1

Competing with OnePass? I thought this was free home delivery for groceries or something. Doesn’t seem like much benefit

  • I jist signed up and linked the BigW account. It gave me $10. I am assuming it wont stack with the 10% discount?

  • Tried signing up before deal expires tonight but got stuck on the payment page - for some reason, none of the input fields for the credit card details were loading, so clicking purchase always errors out. How disappointing
