@Iggemo: I agree with everything you said, about Samsung vs Motorola, and Motorola having best bang-for-buck value for a phone, and not to mention Motorola implementation of Android is so smooth with much, much less bloat.
( Moto Shake for the torch! )Motorolas used to have a edge, because of custom ROM support, and you can relock the bootloader.
With the Samsung, once you unlock the bootloader, you cannot reset the Knox counter, and therefore, phone "loses" warranty as well as resale value.
What benchmark…. Cause it's not double on the ones I see.

Samsung Galaxy A35 scores 107 for photo and 110 for video.
Samsung Galaxy S22 scores 119 for photo and 116 for video.
Motorola moto g54 5G scores 92 for photo and 93 for video.
Compare to the highest score for photo of 169 (Huawei Pura 70 Ultra), and highest score for video of 159 (Apple iPhone 16 Pro/Max).If you managed to get the Samsung Galaxy A35 for $99 last month, then is it still worth buying the Samsung Galaxy S22 for $299?
@digitale: Yeah correct. It does have some specs better than S22 like display, battery life, SD slot and future updates.
In my opinion and circumstances A35 the winner for me.

I am on the Amaysim $120/60GB 365 pre paid , it renews in Feb 2025, it allowed me to purchase this phone for $1 using my current plan.
If in Jan 2025 I find a better value plan, can I cancel the amaysim auto renew and still keep this phone? or is there some fineprint that says different?
Yes you'll be able to keep the phone, also, disable auto renew now and Amaysim may offer you a discount on the same plan in Feb.
I am on that same plan, payed $60, they offered me $90 to renew in the month leading up to expiring, I ignored it and let it expire as my number would still be valid for 12mnths, 3 days after it expired they offered $60 to renew it.

For my order that was placed on 1 Nov, I received the phone today, but there's still no update regarding another order placed on 2 Nov. I've asked Amaysim about my second order but they can't give me any info regarding the delivery, only to say that tracking details are provided 1-2 business days after ordering. I'll give them a couple more days.
