    DNCPAU10 for 10% disc

Had been waiting for it to be sub 300. Thanks OP for the heads up and cuteduck the little birdie that told me the coupon code. $268.28 and done ✅

      • +1

        cuteduck the little birdie

        Should be the little duckie

    • How to provide the code? I reached the step to provide credit card details, but still couldn't see where to provide the code.
      Thanks

      • +2

It's on the cart page for me. Sounds like you overshot it

  • +10

Nice to see sub $300 mark for immediate tax deduction

  • +3

Bought 2 back on this deal, theyve been going strong for 3 years

    • +1

I went dual 32" LG and kinda wish I'd stayed with dual 27". Dual 32" is just too big IMO for office work. One is enough most times.

      • +2

It depends on how big your desk is.

I've got dual 27" 4k monitors at work and dual 32" at home and I prefer the larger monitors.

I've got a nice big desk though. Dual 27" monitors iwould be better if you don’t have plenty of desk space.

    • your lucky not to be hit with the 59.94Hz monitor blinking issue…

  • +9

    That or this?

    • +3

      that

        • +7

Base on those specs, definitely Lenovo in my opinion.

          • @Danielj: Can you please explain? They seem identical to me. Is it the USB-C connectivity?

            • +4

@xrailgun: like you said they are almost identical. so at the same price point it comes down to small differences depending on what you need. USB-C and better port selection on Lenovo puts it ahead. It is also slightly lighter and consumes less power. I don’t see anything in Dell’s favor in this comparison. my 2c.

            • +1

              @xrailgun: Hdmi 2.1 way better than 2.0

          • +1

@Danielj: yeah, the usb-c is a bonus, especially if docking work laptop and hybrid working, have the dell and dock from work but this lenovo might make desk cleaner.

            • @garage sale: agree, USB-C is good. Bought one for corner setup.

For Dual monitor setup on most Laptop and PC, can't use USBC, it doesn't support Daisey chain.
Without USB-C, the difference is minimum to most of the user. also $60 difference on price as well when purchase 2.

          • +1

@Danielj: How come this deal is more popular?

            • +2

@cheapbloke: My guess is for the $30 discount code plus brand loyalty maybe? if you don’t mind lack of USB-C and hub this is basically exact monitor as lenovo, so why pay more as an Ozbargain trooper?
Another plus for Lenovo (for me) local stock and no wait time.

          • @Danielj: Thanks. Bought 2

Been looking for good and minimal looking monitors with good specs/ price

        • -3

          lol,
says the Dell doesnt have HDR, what a joke of a website,
whats the point of reading the rest of it?

          • @Nilfunds: Does it tho?

            • +2

@Justbuy: For any real intents and purposes, neither of them do. 350 cd/m2 and no local dimming zones. TBF that's Vesa's fault for certifying every single monitor on Earth as "HDR" (as long as you pay them to), this website is "just the messenger".

          • @Nilfunds: I see the Dell does not mention HDR. The Dell also doesn't have Usb-c.

        • Lenovo one seems better than this tbh.
I am considering that one now

          • @Mr Bug: Wait so is the Lenovo desktop an objectively better desktop than the Dell one? I might just go and cancel my order on the Dell and go to pickup a Lenovo at my local officeworks :/

            • @Bonemusher: I'm no expert but I think they're basically the same

The only difference really being usb C, and that compare link seems to show Hdmi 2.1 on lenovo, I don't know if this is also the case for Dell.
Plus you got the Dell at a lower price than lenovo, so its a win

    • +3

This is likely a price error too .. shows $447 in store and $297 at the check out. If you want one get in quick.

      • +1

I just bought the lenovo one in store and it scanned $297, so don’t think it’s a price error.

      • +2

Picked one up this arvo, last one in stock and still had the giant $447 label on it. Staff confirmed that it was just an outdated price tag before taking it to the cashier.

Great monitor, cheers for mentioning it!

Also cheers to @Danielj and @CyberMurning for pointing out the pros of the Lenovo.

    • got a question regarding to this Lenovo monitor. not sure it is faulty or as design.

tested with USBC, DP , monitor shows 4k resolution.

connect HDMI 2 next to DP, monitor shows 4k, but when connect to HDMI 1, only FHD and text were shaking.. can't display 4k

it is faulty of monitor connector?

      • +1

OW confirmed faulty HDMI port, swap another unit.

it is even worse, same issue on HDMI 1 and screen has few flashing lines as well.

Will take it back to OW for another/final trail.

if anyone bought this, please test HDMI 1 port with 4K out put.

  • Good deal.

  • +2

Hope this is the type c monitor…

    • +2

      nope

    • +1

      S2722qc is usb-c. $359 with same code

  • Bugger, wanted one of these but bought an HP OMEN 32c for $357.60 pretty happy with it :)

    • I had usb-c version of this, but upgraded to G3223Q and not going back. IPS, 4k, 144hz, 32" for just under $500. gaming - check. productivity - check. creative - check (calibrates fine, at least in sRGB where I care)

      • +1

hello , can i still get that monitor for the price mentioned ? that is more what i am after

  • +3

Got one thanks OP. It is a bargain at $268. I think 27 inch is the perfect size for 4k for office work.

    • 27” 4 k is great for office work, it’s what i have at home, trying to get work to scrap the dual 1080p setup we have, hard task,

    • I would say 32" is best for 4k, but depends on how close you sit - I had this 27" 4k and went to 32" 4k and I certainly appreciate the extra real estate and run it at 100% scaling in windows comfortably

  • Good price!

  • Good deal. Haven't seen sub $300 price for a while.

The one I bought 2 years ago is still going strong.

  • Thanks op, was going to buy a refurbished for this price,

  • Thanks op, I got one too

  • +5

Hi is this considered a good deal for an office monitor? Sorry I don't know much about electronics

    • +3

      Yep get two

  • help! wife works from home and wants one cable to charge macbook air and display to a single monitor - she's not great with usb hubs etc.

Is it worth the extra $91 to buy the Dell 27 4K UHD USB-C Monitor - S2722QC for $359 which has the integrated USB hub?

    • +2

Yep… Get two. Or just one. We have the USB-C model and it works great. PD does the charging.

    • +4

Yes, it’s definitely worth it, honestly, you can’t go back after having the simplicity and minimalist lack of cables on your desk.

    • +3

the usb-c would be worth it, got the non usb-c and regret not paying the extra as main use if for the work laptop and i hate the work supplied dock.

  • Thanks OP, bought 2!

  • Does this monitor pair well with the S2721DGF?
Which Dell monitor is best to use as a second monitor to the S2721DGF?
Monitor will be used for work.

    • I have both. My biggest issue, on Windows at least, is the mismatched resolutions. 150% display scaling is the sweet spot but some apps will appear blurry.

    • I use a S3423DWC with my 'old' S2721DGF in portrait mode to the right of it. My wife does think it's overkill but I can't see any problem with it for my uses. (currently listed by Dell at $479.60 but the 10% off code above works so it's $430.64)
Hmmm… wonder if my wife would notice if I picked up another two of these? Just for the occasional sim racing (large spreadsheets I mean).

      • would like to know paring S2721QS and S3423DWC, any good?

    • I am needing a 2nd monitor to go with my S2721DGF too. Did you end up purchasing this?

  • Great deal! Bought 2

  • Thanks. Great deal

  • Any recommendations for 27’’ 4k curved monitor please?

  • +1

Ordered two, thx Oz bargain lol

  • Thanks got one!

  • Thanks!

  • +4

    not a bad deal

got my S2722QC refurbished for $329 in 2022 and that was a great buy

2722qc is a usb-c monitor with power delivery and usb hub

2721qs is the same thing but no hub and no usb-c input

if you need a convenient all in one usb-c monitor, S2722qc is $359 with the code. uses: plug 1 usb-c cable and that connects the monitor plus all USB devices plugged into it (keyboard, mouse, webcam, printer), plus charge your laptop at the same time. super convenient and no clutter on the desk since it's just 1 cable

    also works with Samsung DEX

    • i have the non sub-c but think it’s time to upgrade as it’s mostly for work laptop.

      • my use case exactly

but check if your laptop can be charged with 60w s2722qc provides via usb-c

my last laptop is power hungry and I had to buy a proper usb-c powered dock with 135w power brick

    • How does it work with two monitors and USB c cable? Two display cables connects to the laptop or does one monitor connects to the next and only one needs to be connected to laptop?

  • -2

    Instant tax :)

Avoid. I got one of these and it developed intermittent flickering issues. Had it replaced under warranty and now the replacement is doing the same and it is out of warranty. Literally ever single dell device I ever had has had severe issues (around 5-6 devices)

    • +1

Is it possible the issue lies with the device that is connected to it. I have the same monitor and it has the issue you describe but only with a particular device. Everything else I use the monitor with works fine.

    • +1

      I had the same issue.

The intermittent flickering is the refresh rate changing from 60Hz (which the monitor is) to 59Hz. I found that windows kept changing it down to 59Hz and I would have to change it back. It didnt matter which video or monitor drivers were used.

    • +2

I have two 4K Dell monitors, both different models from different years, and they both have had issues with flickering. The older model sometimes flickers even when there's no computer plugged in!

However, somehow I got it stabilised now and it hasn't been flickering for almost 2 months. I turned off the monitor from the mains around 2 days, got rid of the extra HDMI connection to my 2nd machine and primarily just used DisplayPort to my main machine. Fingers crossed that it continues like this! But I agree with you that Dell monitors have this serious flickering issue that they should really address.

    • +1

not sure why this person is being downvoted. we have about 8-10 of these in our office and theres a raft of weird flickering issues ive had to deal with - have sent 2-3 back. my personal monitor has the issue occasionally and then it goes away. its a tricky one to diagnose but once you go through the rogmarole with dell support they are great and will express out replacements and handle returns quite well.

with all that in mind, theres nothing we've found that hits the price/performance of these monitors. they are pretty bloody solid apart from that one weird issue.

  • There's always some or the other 4k monitor with similar specs.. it'll really be a deal if under 199

    • +1

corporates are still buying 1080p and doing dual in offices , will be a while until 4k becomes the norm, till then production lines are still making 1080p and 4k is the option not the norm so be a while until $199.

      • +2

Still amazed at how bad some of my friends corporate office setups are who aren’t into tech themselves. The default is like 2x24” 1080 with a 20 dollar keyboard and mouse.

        • They certainly feel like $20 keyboard and mouse, but you'd be even more amazed at what their office paid for them.

      • will be a while until 4k becomes the norm, till then production lines are still making 1080p and 4k is the option not the norm

That’s because orgs opted for cheaper USB 3.x docks - need 4.0 or Thunderbolt for uncompressed 2x 4K.

        • It's actually more complex upgrading corporate equipment as infra isn't always capable of handling the latest stuff.. our office has got either 2X24 2k or one 27 4k.. though keyboard and mouse still race to the bottom..
Still there are quite a few choices for 4k in the range of 250 to 300.. this monitor looks nicer aesthetically though..

  • Bought x2 for my WFH setup - upgrading my Samsung 1080P monitors I’ve had for almost 3 years.

Also, need $ on my tax return!

  • Can you control its brightness, volume from connected device ? Like mac mini etc?

    • yep, if you install Lunar

  • +2

Would probably avoid this one as a Mac user. I have this from a previous deal and with DP, I couldn't get it to run at 4K 60hz. Worked fine connected with HDMI.

    See Mac compatibility section.
    https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/dell/s2721qs

  • Has anyone here successfully used Dell’s price guarantee? I bought the exact same monitor about 3 weeks ago for $305, and I’m hoping to get a refund of $40 based on the current deal. I have already sent a message to Dell support team. Might get an answer next week.

Also, does anyone use this monitor with a Mac? I've installed DisplayLink but can't find any resolution options between 2K and 4K. With my previous 4K monitor, I had a 3008x1692 option, but it's not showing up for this one.

  • Wow, what a roller coaster… One of my dual monitors (both are Dell U2312HM bought in 2013 for a total of $430; looks like I bought them from this Ozbargain deal) seemed to have died on Monday, so this deal was perfect timing, but I tried troubleshooting this morning before committing to buying a replacement, and turns out there was just an issue with the power cable. No idea why the cable failed out of the blue…

Guess I'm stuck with my 2013 monitors for another decade as they've been working perfectly for ~11 years…

    • Ultrasharps like your old ones are a lot dearer.
The U2723QE is currently about $860, and this coupon doesn’t work with it (I’m after a second one).
But it not only has a much better screen but an impressively extensive dock and kvm features.

  • Thank you OP. Bought one for my +1 as she needs a much better monitor for work. I ended up buying myself a Dell G3223Q 32" 4K UHD IPS 144Hz Gaming Monitor for $556 instead, $18 more than the deal last month.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/867893

  • How is this for colour grading and gaming?

    • +1

      Neither; only 99% sRGB aka ~70% adobe RGB/~75% DCI-Pe and 60hz.

      • +1

Cheers mate, looks like these are only good for wfh

  • How do you guys set up dual monitor ?

I set up 4k resolution after everything is too small for me so I just use 2k resolution

    Is it normal?

    • Same here, I tried to get the 2K version, and it cost $438. In 4K, everything is too hard to read, unless you scale up.

      • Yeah same here
I have 4K this monitor but I use 2k resolution

        • theres a 2k version of this monitor thats quite good. same model number but with DS at the end from memory

    • +1

There's display scaling options in all major OSes. In windows just right click anywhere on desktop, Display Settings, scroll down to "Scale" and play around. For 27" 4K, I like 150-200%.
