    Paid about $350 for it last year and still think it’s a great monitor.

  • I just got a secondhand LG 27UP850N off eBay for $200. Best decision ever if you can get that for a decent price as I don’t know what I’d do without the control joystick easily accessible underneath the monitor.

    But if you can’t I’ve heard great things about this monitor, was my second choice after the LG.

    Currently now waiting for either the gigabyte M27UA or LG 27UQ750 to go sub $500 to pair with it for some high refresh rate gaming

    • the Dell has Display Manager software that lets you control settings from your OS, if you really need to be adjusting them that much.

    • I’ve had both the DELL and LG. Both extremely comparable picture, feature and build quality wise.

      Yes, I do much prefer the joystick UI on the LG, and they have a sharpening feature which is decent for console gaming. But given the much lower price, it’s very hard to go past the Dell from a value perspective.

  • Can’t believe they discontinued the 32 inch curved 4k

  • I had the one with non-powered USB. After it has suicided I switched to a TV and difference in movies was tremendous. This monitor has poor backlight not sufficient for HDR, and has ghosting effects on big moving objects. I do not recommend it for movies.

      Interesting, I didn’t know about the 120hz model. Looks like it’s got a bit better contrast ratio too…

        Newly released last / last last week 🫡

      Wow just saw that looks pretty good but worried about gaming performance compared to the gigabyte 27UA… probably not worth the risk but worth investigating

      • Im still waiting for the reviews to come out lol

    • Do you guys think the Dell WD22TB4 dock will support 2x of these monitors @ 120Hz each?

      I have an M4 Mac - would I be better off plugging the monitor to each of the thunderbolt ports on the Mac?

      • Keen to know how you go. I have two S3211QS and would like to plug one USB C cable in for power, dual displays, dock etc and that's it

  • I believe this is my monitor. Works great, I use it to power the laptop too.

  • Can I plug 2 of these into a 2024 M4 Macbook Pro? I'm so confused by monitors these days

    • I believe the answer is yes for M4, but M3 and below require special hardware for multimonitor setups

    • Yes you can with the M4 SoC

    • It's a great monitor, but do beware it doesn't officially support Mac (I don't quite understand why a HDMI signal would differ from OS to OS, but apparently it does somehow.)

      99% of the time it works great, but occassionally the screen will flicker and ghost. The issue tends to occur when there's a lot of grey/dark colours on the screen.

      I'd probably buy again, but don't be surprised if it bugs out on you on the odd occasion

        Dell S2722QC Flickering Issue Fix

        To get 4K/60Hz with USB-C:
        1. Go into the monitor’s OSD. [All settings should be at Factory Defaults.]
        2. “Display” -> “USB-C Prioritization”
        3. Change to “High Resolution”. [This setting increases the bandwidth used for video at the cost of reducing USB data speeds.]
        “4. Display” -> “Smart HDR”
        5. Make sure it’s set to “Off”. [When it’s set to on, the refresh rate on your monitor will fluctuate and be variable.]

        The way I fixed this once and for all was to install BetterDisplay (https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay) and turn off GPU Dithering from the Colour Mode menu. My S2722QC has never flickered/ghosted again after doing that.

  • Freesync on 60hz.. sure, why not.

  • Why is this model practically always on sale?

  • Back to $379.
