Is it just me or are logitech keebs way overpriced?! My bro has a nice mechanical tkl he got for an OK price, but I don't think I could justify anywhere near $200 for a mainstream keyboard like this. Flock to correct me if these are awesome.

To most people, the only mechanical keyboards they've ever known are the RGB clicky Razer and Corsair keyboards on display at JB Hi-Fi. To these people, yeah this is probably a deal. But each time I preach against these mainstream boards as being bad value I get downvoted to all hell by fanboys so I don't bother. Otherwise, yes, there are better options out there with better repairability/tinkering capacity/value.

This is so true!! I built my own custom keyboard TKL for less than the cost of this logitech keyboard on sale :)
I bought a keyboard kit and bought the keycaps and switches i liked with practically identical specs, plus it looks much better too imo :0
The custom keyboard realm is so awesome i cant wait to build more :3

It's the only brand I've found with reliable ultra-low latency wireless connectivity, even at range like when sitting on the couch or walking around the house with headphones

      • +1

In my opinion, lightspeed wireless keyboards are way too heavy to carry around the house.
Mine never left on top of my desk.

      • Well at least that's a decent pro! I do love the wireless low latency of my G703 mice…

I carry the g915 tkl with me on trips and it's sitting in front of me on the couch right now

  • Nice to see a white/aluminium keyboard but the lightspeed tab and the white edging around the scroll wheel really kill the design. Should have gone with a more minimal design and ditched the LED logo too.

  • FYI this keyboard doesn't have a num lock indicator

    • Huh so how to turn on and off the numpad?

      • He said indicator, not the key itself. I've seen (and have) a few keyboards with this problem (no numlock or capslock indicator).

  • Oooft… those reviews

  • I think at least in keyboard area logi has lost too much to razer or rog. GPW is still good through.

I'd still rather work and game on this, $5 cheaper too https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/apple-magi…

      You game on your Mac?

      • No, but I use a Mac keyboard on my PC. Actually I have been gaming on my Mac recently, like the new Civ game and I'll probably acquire a copy of Ass Creed Shadows too. Just convenience more than anything else, I got the big MacBook that has powerful chip in it, it has a good display with good HDR, and I always have it with me.

Saw this while googling. Seems fairly cheap, $30.25.

  • i payed $220 for my G915 tactile 4 years ago, still great keyboard, long battery life, i kinda want the new one because it fixes the 2 biggest issues ive had. USBC and secondary character key lighting.

    • secondary character key lighting.

      ? wdym

      • The characters that need SHIFT + key. e.g. <>?:"!@#$%^&*(). The main character is RGB highlighted on the G915, but the secondary character is also RGB highlighted on the G915 X
