The performance on the 15 Pro is subpar, find a good priced pro max or the regular 16 is the way to go.
Not much of an upgrade but you can get the 16 pro for $100 more, cheaper if you use GCs

The thing is, there are probably many people willing to buy this as well. Why? We may never know. If you have $1700, you probably have $1900 to get the newest one.
You can get a 16 pro 128 GB for 1729 from Costco, 1739 from Triforce, possibly less with price-matching. It really makes no sense to get a 15 pro and get an old phone with no 5x tele lens.
